I was initially agreeable to their pricing structure because I was told that it included repairs beyond regular maintenance, but their technician came today, literally swapped out the filter, and then outlined all of the additional maintenance that was required for additional cost. Instead of doing the job himself, he encouraged me to call Maytag directly to see if I was under warranty. And sure enough, I was. I am very thankful to this man for saving me $500. In the local area (I'm in western Nassau County), Steven's Appliance Repair is the only one I know that achieves all of these. I've learned over the years that installation services provided by companies that sell appliances a) try to do the fastest job possible (not the best job as they get paid by how many they do not how well they do them) and b) cannot do anything besides just plug in the appliance (if anything extra is needed, they will not or are not allowed to do it). Therefore, I prefer to hire someone to handle my appliance needs. I called about 10 different places - most were unavailable or unwilling to come to where I live. Steven's called me on the phone quickly and met me the same day. They clearly explained what I would need to complete the installation (including instructions for electrical work needed), purchased the necessary parts and within 2 days the job was all done. Coincidentally, my oven igniter stopped working shortly after this experience and I called Steven's and a day later I had a working oven. I will definitely rely on this business for all of my future appliance needs.

Your delivery team showed up 1.5hrs after the scheduled time, so now they were in a rush to get the job done and go. The range cane damaged in the back and they told me the store would refund me some money and on top of that they didn't install the range level. It slants to the back. Now I have to take it out and make it level. When I paid the $209 delivery and intslallation charge, I expected on time delivery and proper installation, not this unpleasant experience.
