David made 2 visits to our home to install Reolink WiFi surveillance cameras and also to fix an…read moreelectrical issue in our garage. The first time he came with his assistant Oscar to work on the cameras. The two of them worked together on a really hot day, and they got all the cameras installed exactly where I wanted them to be. We discovered however, that the WiFi Modem/Router I had was not pushing the signal far enough. David suggested that I purchase a Wire Mesh Router called an Eero, which would increase the signal to all the cameras. At his recommendation, I purchased the Eero but ran into problems when connecting it all up. But David was right there to help me. Since I also needed some electrical work in my garage, David came out again and diagnosed the problem and created the solution. He then went to work on my Reolink network and saw that I had incorrectly connected the Eero. Once that was connected, it all seemed to be working fine. I would hire David again in a heartbeat and would recommend to others that they do the same. David AV has five star reviews for a reason: it's deserved! Had all the right gear and the right anchors to support my 75" TV, which wasn't made to be the lightest. Put down drop cloth and cleaned along the way. Had a helper to split the work and get the job done fast. I did t have to lift a finger. Provided some good advice on placement and AV design. Although my needs were basic, they seem knowledgeable in setting up full blown home theatre systems. They were responsive even though they were busy going from one job to the next. I guess when you're decent at your job a lot of folks hire you. I would use them again in the future.

When I initially asked if they could come on a specific day, I was told that the date worked. Later, I received a call from a different, private number asking if they could come that same day instead. Although this was only a few hours' notice, I accommodated the change and was told the technician would arrive by 6:00 PM. When no one had arrived by 6:17 PM, I called the original number to ask for an update. The man who answered, who never identified himself, sounded irritated by my question. He said they were running late and that he would check with the team. He eventually called back and informed me that the technician would arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. My biggest concern was the lack of communication and professionalism throughout this process. If the technician was running late, why couldn't they contact me directly to let me know? Instead, I had to call them for an update, only to receive a significantly later arrival window. When I asked for the technician's name, I was told it was Sam. The person on the phone also seemed annoyed when I asked for his name. At that point, I decided to cancel the service. I called back and explained that the last-minute changes, lack of communication, and overall unprofessional handling of the situation had made me uncomfortable moving forward. Rather than responding professionally, the man on the phone seemed unhappy and abruptly hung up without even saying goodbye. I ultimately cannot comment on the quality of their actual work because I never received their services. However, the customer service experience was enough to make me reconsider hiring them. Clear communication, punctuality, and basic courtesy are the bare minimum when running a business, and unfortunately, those expectations were not met. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value professionalism, reliable communication, and respectful customer service.
