    First time here and probably won't be back because it's not my closest. We were on our way to the airport and I had forgotten to get something. This location was perfect along the way. We knew where to find what I needed and they had it in stock (I had already checked online). There was nobody on the checkout queue, but I had to wait quite a long time to be helped. There were a few people with online orders and the 2 people at the front were just helping them and ignoring us. After I literally stared at them I was eventually helped. This should've taken less time given that I was the only one in the line and 2 people were at the registers. The inside was clean, but it felt stuffy and uncomfortable in there. They have plenty of parking, but not the safest area around.

    I came to purchase a Smart TV for a guest room and the store had lots of selections. The store was well maintained, staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. It didn't take long to pick what I wanted and the check out process was fast.

    I can definitely understand the bad reviews here, but since I was here to simply pick up an order, I can't really give that bad a rating. However, I can definitely sympathize with the lack of customer service, at least while I was browsing around. I had a $5 promotional certificate that was randomly given to me out of the blue, and I was trying to look up Best Buy's deals, which can alter daily. I did find a deal on a product that I was interested in, but as it turns out, they didn't have any in stock at the Best Buy in Lakewood! However, they did have a few left in stock at this Best Buy in Downey Landing on the east side of Lakewood Blvd north of Imperial. I was also planning to eat lunch in the same shopping center, so I was able to do two things at once, in reference to that Travis Kelce Pfizer commercial. I placed my order online for in store pickup with the promise that it would be ready in an hour. Sure enough, within that hour, I got an email saying my order was ready for pickup and it would be held there for 6 days. The email says that if you can't pick up your order by then, they will cancel your order and refund you, but you can also request an extension if need be, something I'd recommend doing if you used a promotional certificate as I don't think it would be refunded alongside your payment. In addition to an email, I got a text saying that my order was ready for pickup. Both forms of communication directed me to tap the "I'm here and in line" link to signify my presence inside the store. The link from the text got me to the sign in page, but the link from the email directed me to the pickup page. I'm not sure how that happened, and I'm sure I'd get a different result were I to place a future order, but the pickup page does have a barcode that the employee needs to scan first. He also asked to see my ID to confirm I was the correct person to pick up the order. The process was seamless until the end when he was about to walk away after scanning out my order. I wanted to ask him about the return policy, and he tried to answer while walking away. His voice kept trailing off, so I asked him to clarify a couple of times. That was kind of annoying, but other than that, his service was fine. I wish he did a better job of finishing, though. The online order pickup was right next to the exit, so I went back to my car to drop off my order and decided to come in to explore the rest of the store. I liked how the interior looked with all merchandise in good condition, but I didn't like how there weren't as many employees about to help out if needed. As an example, I was taking a look in the appliances section, and I only saw one employee there. He seemed to be busy over the phone or a walkie talkie, but it gave me the impression that help isn't readily available at this Best Buy. I continued browsing through the appliances section, even getting distracted by doing a few Google searches on a fridge. I heard someone offering help to someone in my direction, but he was looking at another customer instead. Even in other parts of the store, nobody offered to help, which didn't really bug me since I wasn't planning to get anything else. However, if I was, it would have left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not sure I'd go as far to stay this Best Buy is short-staffed, but don't be surprised to wait some time for an associate to help you if needed. Also, during my visit, there was an annoying alarm that kept sounding somewhere in the store. It wasn't screechingly loud like a banshee, but if you were nearby, it could disrupt your experience and decision making on what to get. In the far corner of the store, there are a couple of rooms for Home Audio, but the doors were closed when I went. I don't know if you can only go in there with an associate, but I didn't bother to find out. It would have been cool if those rooms weren't enclosed spaces, and anybody could go in to experience the sights and sounds of a home theater, something I've done before at the Lakewood location. Overall, not a bad visit. I did enjoy getting to browse around the store and seeing all the gadgets available for sale. They had a pretty good selection from what I saw, and the interior looked pretty modern as well. However, like I alluded to before, don't expect help to be available at a moment's notice. It might take several minutes before you can get someone to answer your questions. I didn't interact with any other associate besides the one at the pickup counter.

    Jesus and his assistant are amazingly creative, patient, understanding, technology and construction proficient. They both made me feel at peace knowing I had professionals installing my new 85 samsung screen tv, Sanus cordless kit and new wall mount. They both literally did it ALL for me. Helped me move my new couches to save to my tv from falling if It would have been installed on the wooden wall. Jesus advised me & recommended me NOT to risk my TV landing on floor (eventually ) and the risk Id take. Jesus and his assistant Set up my Wifi, FireStick, Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, Amazon Prime- They both removed All boxes and trash. Jesus even advised me how to speed up my internet & save monies w Ereo and purchase it at Best Buy. Jesus reviewed w me my next coming purchases and my new products and gave me more knowledge as to membership services w best buy and its benefits. I will request Jesus & his Assistant again next week to return and install in my son's room. They are an exemplar team. Five Stars to Jesus and his Assistant. They provided a peaceful atmosphere and relief to me in my home in my securing my equipment was in knowledgeable-, Safe Hands and I had made the Best Decision with my Geek Squad Installation- Mounted my 86 tv, Sanus Cordless kit. They measured the wall- centered and located the STUDS immediately- The expertise and support Are Immediately NOTICED THEIR TEAM WORK IS DYNAMIC THEIR COMMUNICATION COMES ACROSS IMPECCABLY !!!!!! Thank you Best Buy- Geek Squad- JESUS YOU RAISE THE Bar and Make The Team A Full Circle - You Come ALIVE A FULL spectrum Full of knowledge and advice with Equipment consistency. Your excellent communication skills & professionalism are noticed immediately and you speed. The booties on the shoes not to ruin floors and my white couches. You are very respectful, family oriented yet reserved and tailor to family situations. ( see images below of both of them) Jesus Bless You Jesus & Assistant

I brought my PC here suspecting a faulty power supply and specifically asked for a simple test (any legitimate shop has a cheap PSU tester for this). The owner said he'd check it and call me by end of day. When I followed up, the computer hadn't been touched. It was just sitting there, barely even opened. He made excuses about waiting for a "technician." After multiple unreturned calls, he flip-flopped on the diagnosis (first GPU, then back to power supply, my original guess) but never actually fixed anything. When I came to pick it up, he suddenly demanded $149 for "diagnosis" and ~$60 for "cleaning", fees he never mentioned upfront and that I never authorized. I had clearly expected a call before any paid work began. While waiting, I spoke with another customer who was going through the exact same thing: no communication, unauthorized charges added (he tried charging them $149 to reinstall Windows when the only issue was needing to sign into an account), and pressure to pay for unnecessary work. I helped them negotiate the price down because it was blatant overcharging. When it was my turn and I questioned the charges, the owner became extremely aggressive, yelling at me to leave the store multiple times and trying to handle me away from other customers so they wouldn't overhear. In the end, he backed down and took $100 just to get me out, but I only paid because I needed my computer back. When I got home, it was in worse shape: still dusty (no cleaning done), partially disassembled, and components left unplugged. Absolutely nothing was repaired. This place uses classic bait-and-switch tactics: quotes low/no fees verbally, then hides behind fine print on a drop-off form to justify exorbitant charges for work they never discussed or performed. They prey on non-tech-savvy customers and get hostile when challenged. Do not bring your devices here. Total scam. Save yourself the headache and money.

The plug to my device had completely broken off and I called every electronic repair man in my area but couldn't find one until I checked out Alpha Electronics. Didn't know we needed an appointment but Mr Ken happily took me in the same day and offered to replace the plug with a stronger and more durable plug. My Shark was ready and fixed that same day!! Super fast and reliable!! 10/10 experience!! Mr Ken seemed to specialize in music equipment repair but to my surprise was able to fully repair my Shark Flexstyle in under 8 hours!! If you have any questions about whether or not he could repair something of yours just call and send a picture of the issue and he will reply immediately. He gave very clear communication and provided a cheap price for my repair needs! Will definitely be returning in the future!

Figured I just needed to get it soldered. Came here during lunch, and at first, I thought it was closed because they didn't have lights on. But there's a sign on the door that states to call ahead and to wear a mask. Ken quickly picked up my call, heard my issue, and told him I'm outside. Ken was quick to acknowledge my request, and he let me in. There's a $25 diagnostic fee deposit, which goes toward the repair. Which, in my case, means soldering the cable back to the pin connector. Paid with a CC, and he asked for my contact and told me he would call me when it's ready. The next day, he called to tell me it's ready. And violaaaa, my record player works again! Awesome work and awesome hospitality, Ken. I'll see you again next time I break my record player.
