Made an appt ahead of time and the staff and prices were great. Only draw back was I had to wait literally all day even with an appt do to a backlog of vehicles from previous days. Understandable as due to the holiday season everyone was coming in to get their vehicle looked at, however at that point a courtesy vehicle would have been nice. Other than that still great.

Purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz in Dec 2024 with 6,000 miles on it from universal Hyundai. Leased vehicle I was told..... Now 3,000 miles later the harness for all electrical went out and they are telling me they are working on it, however I just found out it was replaced at 34 miles! This was not disclosed to me when purchased or on its Carfax report. This tells me it's a lemon, but they just say they will fix it and call me when it's ready. No refund of course for this truck I paid cash for! A car with now 9,000 miles and the whole electrical system is blown and they want to FIX IT? WTH?? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

I didn't need a car right at that moment, but was interested in better gas mileage (over my Explorer). I dealt with a few other dealerships, that were not exactly on the level. I'm assuming, that based on limited inventory, they were trying to force upon me options that I did not want (Redline model, all leather, spoiler, etc). They also had a tendency to try to offer me way less for my trade than it was worth. A dealership in Sanford actually offered me $13,500 for my Explorer, when I told them that I had a cash offer with no trade in for $19,500, almost directly across the street at the Acura dealership. They told me to sell it across the street and buy their car, which again, had way more nonsense than I needed/wanted. I passed on that option, and went to another dealership in Orlando. After making a deal on a car at that dealership, they indicated that they had sold it at a partner dealership in Tennessee, and offered me something else, even though I literally sat in that very car. Hard nope for me, especially considering they added a "dealer package" (some non-optional crap no one needs or wants, at the added cost of $3,500). I say all that to say this. On Chevy's website, I found my perfect car in transit to Starling in Orlando. It's about an hour drive from me, so I wasn't really interested in eight bucks in tolls each way, as well as the hour drive, so I called. I eventually began working with a sales guy, Miguel Roman. He was friendly, efficient, and didn't try to force anything on me. I had to provide my identification, and a $1,500 deposit (totally refundable, if the deal fell through), but was promised the car. I was told that it was probably around three weeks out. When the car hit the lot, they tinted the windows, and told me to come in around afternoon time. I was at the dealership for around two hours dealing with financing, and registration/titling. The finance guy wasn't pushy, and when I declined additional warranties, etc; he didn't push. In the meantime, Miguel got me a full tank of gas. I left with my new car, and drove home. The next day, Miguel called to ask about my second key. Apparently, I was given a key to another car (VIN was one digit off, honest mistake). I happened to be driving near the dealership the following weekend, so they gave me a second free tank of gas for my trouble. The loan for my previous vehicle took more than ten days for GM Financial to pay, so the account accrued additional interest ($16). I texted Miguel yesterday. He indicated that he was off that day, but would look into it when he got into work today. The account is already paid. The whole staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. The new trick would be for me to talk my wife into buying an Equinox or Trail Blazer from Starling. They are amazing! What a fantastic experience!

I said ok, keep in touch. Well a week later, we got a 2019 Jeep Grand Cheerokee Laerdo. Moises and my family were able to test drive 3 cars and figure out which one we liked and met our budget. Throughout the long day, Moises was personable, friendly, non-aggressive and easy to talk too. The back end guys are usually the issue with the negotiations and price but Moises fought for me as much as he could and after standing my ground, we got a good deal done. After purchasing my vehicle, I later discovered I had been signed up for an Assurant Vehicle Care policy that I clearly refused. Francisco Diaz in finance asked me about the coverage, I told him "NO," and yet it was added anyway -- totaling $959 rolled into my loan. Not only does this increase my payment, but it also feels like I was taken advantage of so someone could get credit or a kickback for adding a policy I didn't authorize. This is exactly the type of behavior that makes people distrust dealerships. On top of that, I was told my $6,000 down payment would have a 2% credit card fee. Instead of being charged $6,120, I was charged $6,180 -- noticeably higher than what I was told. No explanation, no transparency, just more money out of my pocket. Between the unauthorized add-on and the inaccurate fee, I walked away feeling duped, frustrated, and misled. Buyers deserve honesty, not surprise charges and hidden products slipped into their contracts. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a straightforward, trustworthy car-buying experience.
