We recently had another HVAC company come out because our AC stopped working. After running their…read morediagnostics, they told us we needed to replace our entire system--including the air handler, condenser, and even add another air return. To make matters worse, they said they couldn't turn the system back on and that we might have to wait until Monday for a full system replacement. This all happened on the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, with temperatures well into the triple digits. We have five kids and two dogs, and the thought of going several days without air conditioning was overwhelming. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and called Airtime Cooling & Heating. Jacob came out, started his own evaluation without us telling him what the first company had diagnosed, and quickly impressed us. He simply turned the system back on, ran his own diagnostics, and gave us his honest opinion. His conclusion was completely different--our system did not need to be replaced. Not only did he get our AC running again, but he also took the time to explain what he believed had happened, what to watch for if it occurred again, and even walked us through how to troubleshoot it ourselves. That kind of honesty, education, and customer service is incredibly rare. Instead of facing what could have been a very expensive and unnecessary replacement, we paid for a diagnostic visit, got our AC back, and gained confidence in our system. Because of this experience, we've switched from our previous HVAC company to Airtime Cooling & Heating for all of our future maintenance and service. If Jacob is any indication of the quality of their technicians, they have earned a customer for life. Jacob was truly a 10 out of 10. They stated to me that they do not replace the filters nor look at them I believe in my opinion, they're not even doing any justice to the homeowner, nor to the unit of the heat exchanger. I believe The most important thing on these heat exchangers is the water that goes in and out of the unit and if that's not checked, why even put a new unit in.

They were very patient and listened to my concerns as I had just been ripped off by a different competing place who had been out three times including charging us for coolant when it was spot on obvious there was corrosion and a leak (I do not recommend Simply The Best). Jason provided the quote and the install was done within a few days which is excellent response time considering I was in a jam and summer is here. Installers were very professional and even had the job done under the quoted time frame and did preventative maintenance on the other existing unit. Recommended. Straight forward, friendly and professional and don't play games with you like some of the other guys. Our two 18yr old units are at the end of their lives so I feared the worst. I contacted 3 Phase to request service between 12:00 and 3:00PM, Jake the service tech arrived around 1:00PM. Jake asked a few questions about what was going on, we went outside to check the breaker box again and found nothing. Jake climbed into the attic to take a look at the non working unit and quickly discovered the low voltage fuse had blown, he replaced it and the unit was running again 10 minutes after he arrived. I know the two units will need to be replaced soon, but like Jake said lets see if its needs to be first. This is a small company that we have used them 3 times now and they have always done a great job and fixed our issues. I feel they are honest and would recommend them to any of my neighbors. This guy told me there were all kinds of leaks and the compressor was shot. That they don't even make parts for it any more. It would be cheaper to buy new than to repair and it would probably only last another week. When I told him I couldn't replace it he said his only suggestion was to turn the thermostat up as high as I could stand it and that might give me another week. Three days later I decided to call Terry's for a second opinion. Jessie came out to check it. Ran some tests and said it was in perfect working order. Yes it's old and a little small for the size house (is a 3 ton and should be a 4 ton) but it's in perfect shape. I'll never use any other company and plan to call them when I can afford a new ac. These guys are honest, trustworthy, and care about their customers. Call them if you need help!
