To make matters worse, they said they couldn't turn the system back on and that we might have to wait until Monday for a full system replacement. This all happened on the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, with temperatures well into the triple digits. We have five kids and two dogs, and the thought of going several days without air conditioning was overwhelming. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and called Airtime Cooling & Heating. Jacob came out, started his own evaluation without us telling him what the first company had diagnosed, and quickly impressed us. He simply turned the system back on, ran his own diagnostics, and gave us his honest opinion. His conclusion was completely different--our system did not need to be replaced. Not only did he get our AC running again, but he also took the time to explain what he believed had happened, what to watch for if it occurred again, and even walked us through how to troubleshoot it ourselves. That kind of honesty, education, and customer service is incredibly rare. Instead of facing what could have been a very expensive and unnecessary replacement, we paid for a diagnostic visit, got our AC back, and gained confidence in our system. Because of this experience, we've switched from our previous HVAC company to Airtime Cooling & Heating for all of our future maintenance and service. If Jacob is any indication of the quality of their technicians, they have earned a customer for life. Jacob was truly a 10 out of 10. He saved us from an unnecessary replacement, restored our AC when we needed it most, and treated us with honesty and respect. I can't recommend Airtime Cooling & Heating highly enough.

The guy on the phone initially told me that the earliest appointment would be the next day, but he was able to find Jacob who was in the area and would be able to stop by in 1-2 hours. Jacob arrived and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. He explained what was wrong (capacitor needed replacement) and then explained how he was going to fix it. He was very patient, made sure everything was up and running and made sure all our questions were answered before he left. Thank you to Jacob and Airtime for saving us from the heat!

I initially decided in Dukes of Air in May 2016 after our…read morecondo air unit bit the dust during a hot memorial weekend and the only online venue back then that was avail was Yelp- no Nextdoor, no Reddit... even though this company was bought out- I'm sure several of the original techs still are there doing the same crappy work-- see photos! I had them come out YEAR after YEAR and each time the tech would complain about what the last did. Aside from making a disgusting mess with all of the black tar over my closet room, the front and back concrete patio- they did a Jerry Rig Each and every time! And they stripped the screws and bolts badly. This hvac co. came out for biannual maintenance check -- which obviously doesn't include removal and cleaning of blower wheel and housing, nor does it include cleaning out the water outflow drainage tube that collects foliage debris; which then cause water backup prompting another service call. Btw. I promptly dumped the monthly service fee to get two "system checks" a year because it seems like once they find something- it's due to the last years of other techs doing absolutely nothing! They're all young and lazy looking to make a quick buck and likely forced by the corporate man to sell sell service repair upsell!! I'm not looking over their shoulder step by step and asking what are you doing, what does this mean? But I will for sure moving forward!! I keep my air at 77 and not lower, so there's not a huge stress. They noted a slow leak last February and suggested a leak test. I didn't do it at the time since he said it was slow. Two guys come out, in their separate top of the line Mercedes vehicles, and tell me I need my coil replaced; which is covered under warranty and scared me into schedule replacement for refrigeration leak and coil replacement along with the blower wheel cleaned, because, as the tech said look at what your breathing in (photo). No I am not - that's why there's a filter used inside, but still-well my bi yearly maintenance should include that cleaning!! And why wasn't this brought to my attention in the previous years??!Lazy arses. Since the coil is covered under warranty I was quoted 4 hours labor, coils replacement and fan cleaned and refrigerant at $$$2400!! The next company I used --Larson, a certified Trane dealer- said No leak!! Don't use them either, a grand less as they said no coil leak! But $1550 for refrigerant you can get on FB for free mixed with the new stuff at $15 a lbs and you mark up it up! I'm telling you these dumb techs don't know squat. Then how the heck did refrigerant leak in an enclosed system?? Hey Dukes if Air-/IF the coil is covered under warranty then why am I being charged for it?? This is with my gold member discount since they have serviced my unit exclusively since day one. If it is a slow leak why would the coil need to be replaced? The guy last Feb said it could wait until next year, but the guys today said that it could cause my compressor to blow! Yet my neighbors have their original unit from 30 yrs ago still working?? And-- it was very obvious that they both had to return to the vehicle to come up with a price each time. It was obvious one lead sales guy was teaching a newer guy how to reel the money in for repairs to be done as a quick fix for a couple grand-NOT getting to the root cause. 1) Bad recommendation to use Trane 2) Crap duct work done from day one 3) Crooked, Dumb or Lazy techs thereafter Lastly, the 5 stars are from friends and family members of the hvac techs and owners- it's ALL BS!! And use ai to do your homework and get at least 7 quotes! Find an individual or small business and let these big companies rip off Richie poos!

I believe The most important thing on these heat exchangers is the water that goes in and out of the unit and if that's not checked, why even put a new unit in.

I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

The phone call was complete."Needless to say, they also overcharged for work that was not actually done. when you try to use a small family on business compared to the big name companies, this is how you're treated. There is no accountability. I highly recommend you Do Not use Steve's ultimate air unless you want Candace to hang up on you and charge for services that did not happen.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

In January I replaced both of my AC units that were 20 years old. What made Liquid HVAC stand out to me was their personal touch with the entire process. Tyler listened to my questions, gave me the pros and cons for each of my concerns. Their constant flow of communication was really helpful during this entire process. Tyler and Kevin were onsite for the entire installation process (10 hours for 2 units). The entire team was polite, professional, and courteous. They were able to remove and replace the furnace and air handlers from the attic without damage. After the split units were installed and checked for operation, they cleaned up after themselves. Left the property as they found it. One trait that I appreciated was that the entire team was great with our dogs and made it as relaxed as possible for them. I also ordered two remote temperature sensors from Liquid HVAC. Once Tyler received them, he met me at place that was convenient for me since I was not home when they arrived. Again, this is the personal touch that they provide. Liquid HVAC provided an amazing service that was personable, efficient, cost reasonable, and honest. I believe these traits are missing in a lot of businesses today. Please give Liquid HVAC a chance to earn your business! These guys are the best!. Over the last few weeks I've had 8 ac units replaced at my home, and they did an unbelievable job getting it done. They scheduled 5 to be installed this past Sat, and they came early with a bunch of capable technicians and were able to install them all in one day, very professionally. They worked unbelievably hard, stayed until late in the evening to make sure everything was operating correctly before they left, even though they started at 7AM that morning. Everything was cleaned up and the old equipment was hauled away that day. They are very honest and have great integrity, will not sell something that is not needed. Many older units can be serviced but they will end up costing more over time vs just replacing them. They will tell you the truth and give you options, They can't help old equipment breaking down, but they can do what they can to extend the life of the units but overtime it pays just to replace them. Great attitudes, very positive interactions. They are trustworthy in your home and will always act with integrity. I can't recommend them more highly. I have never had another company do what these guys have done so honestly. read more

Towards the very end of the summer my 28 year old, well maintained Trane system finally died. My home warranty company would only cover $379 of a $2,800 repair and was too expensive versus buying an entire new HVAC system. I reached out to several highly recommended HVAC companies and chose to go with Liquid HVAC. Another homeowner recommended me to use them and their yelp reviews are five star quality. I recommend JMAC (and Tanner) if you need AC repair work. My AC system is 17 years old and figure it we may need to replace it in 2026 or so, but replacing parts keeps it going. I keep it maintained by cleaning the condenser coils a few times a year and after a dust storm. I have my drains blown out as needed after a high humidly month. If you don't want to do the maintenance, they will do it for you for a resonable fee.

This is my list of grievance's: -They removed my existing duct switch without consent. It allowed me to divert more air to a specific room. -Did not comb out bent coil fins on new AC (tech said "we don't do that") -New plenum and ducting resulted in uneven air distribution. JMAC made half attempt to correct, but ultimately did not. -Compressor cover (noise damper) was lifted off the compressor on install making unit louder than it should be. After reporting many times, tech pushed it down. -Later, it lifted off again. Took many back and forth for them to even look at issue, and then forced to pay service call. Tech secured with zip ties. -Tech allowed condenser fan to rest on fins. I would imagine this causes slight warping and imbalance. This might not be a real issue, but fan seems a little louder after this "service" -Air handler was inspected at the same time (annual maintenance). Afterwards I am getting much more dust in the house. I see a lot of positive reviews, but buyer beware.

They switched the hoses around and I don't believe the unit was even bad because all along it was dirty filters for the water. They stated to me that they do not replace the filters nor look at them I believe in my opinion, they're not even doing any justice to the homeowner, nor to the unit of the heat exchanger. I believe The most important thing on these heat exchangers is the water that goes in and out of the unit and if that's not checked, why even put a new unit in.
