FROM HOT TO COOL IN LESS THAN TWO HOURS!!! Never in my life have I had better response and service from any provider! From the time we realize AC was not working to back in service, 2 hours! 12:20 - me: honey, it feels hot, did you turn the AC down? 12:21 - honey: no, it's set at 71 but it's 76 in here and rising... investigate.... the breakers tripped and the AC isn't moving 12:25 - call and text HVAC company we've used in the past, no answer, start calling around to find someone that's not a bot, who's an actual person that will answer the phone on a Saturday. 12:48 - call Liquid HVAC and Kevin answers, quotes $75 to come out, doesn't try to gouge us because he knows the system isn't working and it's hot, says his guys are finished up for the day but he'll call and see if he can get anyone out 1:25 - What!!! Tyler and his team member show up, that is crazy fast and probably a bit of luck they were in the area but still way above expectations 1:45 - system diagnosed, issues explained in detail, reasonable quote for repairs and work started 2:12 - AC working!!! I had Liquid HVAC come out to perform a routine maintenance check, before the onset of months with triple digits. Brian was friendly, efficient & informative. And unlike the other local big brands, who I've used before, there was no upselling or fear tactics. He said everything looked fine mechanically but didn't love or hate the refrigerant level. He told me where they like to see the readout & showed me mine. He said we could do nothing or by starting with a half pound of refrigerant, it could get our unit to the desired level/reading. My AC has been really struggling over the last few years and I had to face the sad truth that it probably wasn't going to make it through another Arizona summer. After getting estimates from a couple of companies I called Liquid HVAC. Kevin showed up about forty five minutes after we spoke and was very professional. He inspected my current HVAC system, taking pictures and video of what he found in the attic which confirmed that the system was pretty much doomed. He provided me with quotes for three different AC systems, taking the time to explain the pros and cons of each. It only took about an hour after my wife and I met him to decide that Liquid HVAC was the company we would be going with. The knowledge and professionalism Kevin displayed was very reassuring, and it was greatly appreciated that he explained things in layman's terms without talking down to you. Kevin provided the quote on Tuesday and three days later I have a brand new Trane ac unit keeping me nice and cool as I sit here writing this review. It was a seamless installation, and when it was done they cleaned up after themselves, showed me how to use the spiffy new digital thermostat and then registered the warranty for me. Updating our review! After the first visit for a fuse replacement, our HVAC worked fine for about a month and then our unit stopped cooling. We had Liquid HVAC come out again and they said for some reason we had no refrigerant left in our unit. They said that they could replace a line, but that it would likely leak somewhere else as soon as it was refilled and so they suggested we install a new unit because our unit was out of warranty (10 years old). Their price was reasonable for a replacement. However, I asked if they could first spray the unit with soap to find the leak or leaks, but they naysayed that suggestion like it wasn't possible and I was told that there are 100s of coils that could be leaking "Like a radiator" and that we really shouldn't try to fix any existing lines because another could leak. So I decided to get a second opinion from another well-rated HVAC company, who not only immediately sprayed the unit with soap to look for the exact leak location, but they also offered to inject dye to find the actual leak and weld a repair on the line if they found one. However they found no leaks whatsoever on the whole unit. They did find that the prior HVAC company (which was Liquid HVAC) had left our Shraeder valve open, which would have leaked our refrigerant out and required another service call and therefore opened an opportunity for them to pitch us a new system replacement of our just-out-of-warranty HVAC unit. So, while this company is reasonably priced, I would highly suggest that if you use this company, immediately check your HVAC unit after their visit to see if there is a hissing sound coming from the valve where they check levels. Just in case they decide to leave it pushed open so that you will call them back for a replacement or repair. You could save yourself a lot of money. read more

Our AC died. After 27 years we couldn't complain too much. We had been using a different AC company for over 20 years but the owner sold the business and we did not feel comfortable with the new owner and his employees. After searching reviews on various sites we came upon Liquid HVAC. We often like doing business with smaller family owned companies and they fit the bill and had great reviews. Tyler and Kevin came out the day we called them, checked everything out and we discussed options for our new unit. They use Trane equipment which is one of the top rated brands. Their pricing is fair and reasonable and a few days later we had our new unit installed. They are extremely competent and priced competitively but what really sets them apart is their devotion to customer service. Tyler stayed in constant communication with us, responded very quickly to calls and texts, and also followed up afterwards with calls. It was the middle of the night. I noticed it was hot, but the ac was blowing.... it's not going to be any cooler than 91 the next few days. It had already climbed to 87 in my home. I called Liquid Ac, at 2am, they answered right away, A Human, who knew that could happen. 25 minutes later at 2:30am they arrived and fixed my unit in record time, it's now 3:15am. Called at 6AM because our AC went out last night. Got an immediate answer that a tech would be out TODAY between 10-12. Jared called at 11:10 to say he was 25 minutes out, arrived at 11:30. Jared was so kind and professional! Walked me through everything he was doing, why my unit was not working and exactly how much it would cost to repair my unit-LOVE THAT! He had the supplies to repair the unit on the truck, repaired it, gave it a complete once over to be sure everything else was good and my bill was $2 less than the quote!! I have my AC down in hottest time in July. Before I contact Kevin, I hired three different companies as none of them identified the issue and fixed the problem. When I saw Liquid HVAC on yelp, I was hesitate to contact it as there were only ~10 reviews. Anyway, I'm happy I called Kevin. He came to my house within 30 mins, quickly identified the problem( blower motor relay), and fixed in 10 mins. He also suggests some plan for duct work in winter to improve the efficiency, which is exactly I needed. I would definitely recommend Kevin and his business. It's so hard to find a honest AC technician which is knowledgable and willing to fix the real problem, instead of selling something which you don't need. read more

Great service and a great price and they upgraded my two ton air conditioning unit upstairs with a new unit that was able to handle 2.5 tons and I did not even think to ask about this. They knew my old air conditioner upstairs could never quite do the job during a hot Summer. It was replaced once before several years ago by another air conditioning company who merely went with another two ton model. I will be cool this Summer!!! Prices are also affordable!! Around 6pm I noticed my AC was blowing warm and the indoor temperature was rising. Not good. I called a few places and couldn't get an appointment. I used yelp and found Kevin from Liquid HVAC. By 6:30pm I had an appointment confirmed for 7:45pm. Kevin arrived 45 minutes early!!Very professional and fast. Great value. I had my AC blowing cold again and a digital invoice I could pay using Apple Pay by 7:45pm. I went from warm AC to fixed and cold AC in under 2 hours. Air conditioning starts blowing hot air only 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night... called a different company at first and was given an 8:00a.m. - 2:00 p.m. window for the next morning. Happened to be looking at a Nextdoor e-mail and comments on Liquid HVAC. Similar situation, air-con out 10:30 p.m. and they called and had a very good experience with the fix, good price, recommended. Then clicked on company link on Nextdoor and had 100 positive messages/posts. So then I checked the company website and saw Better Business Bureau accreditation and HomeAdvisor as well. Gave them a call and had the good fortune of speaking with Kevin, the owner. He told me he would be out in a half hour. Arrived promptly on time and was communicative and thorough about fix. Dual capacitor needed replacing, $250. The old home warranty company did a duct tape "fix" with the capacitor in the cardboard box it came in. Kevin showed me and he replaced a new one the right way, in the steel case it's supposed to be in. Checked Freon and system specs. Had the air-con running cold again in about a half hour. He answered all questions I had about the system, and was very easy to talk to. Our AC stopped cooling in the middle of July, one of the hottest months of the year. I called our home warranty which I have had for 25+yrs and was told I could not schedule an appointment until I paid the $85 service fee.  Once the fee was paid I was told the contractor would be calling me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. After the first 24-hrs and not having heard from the contractor, and going back and forth with the home warranty I decided my family and I could not afford to wait any longer!  I ended up contacting Kevin Saethre at Liquid HVAC LLC who said he was available to check the unit and arrived within 15-minutes from when I called.  After evaluating the unit he informed us of the problem causing the AC not to cool. He was able to fix the refrigerant leak, vacuum and charge the unit with 10 lbs. of 410a refrigerant.  Our biggest surprise was that Kevin was able to get all this done within a couple of hours and at a very reasonable price! We can't say enough about the service we received from Liquid HVAC LLC!  They are honest, reliable, and affordable!  Kevin's professionalism and outstanding customer service was phenomenal.  It's easy to see that Kevin takes pride in his profession and truly cares about his customers!  We will certainly use Liquid HVAC LLC in the future.  It is without hesitation we recommend Liquid HVAC LLC.  Since then I have canceled our home warranty. read more
