I settled for this chem dry service last resort because I couldn't find my favorite chem dry specialist "Jose" who Consistently gave me the best chem dry experience ever and above all left carpet nearly dry within an hour every time. Absolutely no one can do this 3 times in a row He was phenomenal and every one of his reviewing customers said the same about him. So after this other one came. Even when I asked to please get more water out from the carpet, The guy just couldn't suck imore water up because to do that he'd have to break a sweat. I even spoke to the owner/ coordinator who said he had to put more water in the high tracked area but it was wet all over. I had to sop up with towels to get some of the water up. So not worth 192.00 for tiny 1 bedroom studio apt. Will not use universal Chem dry ever again. Worst outcome I could have predicted happened without one specific person named Jose. Will not use Any Chem dry carpet cleaning business again. High priced and weak suctioning = A Wet waste of money you'll have to dry yourself No thank you! read more

My long-time ChemDry franchise closed so I searched Google and found Jose. Jose blew me away at his level of customer service and talent at cleaning my rugs/carpet. The previous company never put barriers on the corners of my walls to protects them, lay down plastic under my rug so it doesn't wet my wood floors, put out mats to protect my floors, little plastic deals under my chairs, and so on. He also took his time and vacuumed, raked, and throughly cleaned everything. Paying special attention to dog messes. Just the nicest guy and pleasure to have in our home. When I contacted Universal Chem Dry they answered the phone and booked the exact day I needed for a full house carpet cleaning. Jose came out on time and did a very thro, detailed job. I am very pleased with this company! From start to finish everyone I spoke to was incredibly polite, and helpful. I called Saturday and they came out Monday afternoon. Window was between 4-6 pm. They came at 4 and called 20 min before to let us know they were on the way. My horrible cat had peed all over our brand new carpet and the smell was unbearable. They used a black light to detect pet urine And apply the pet treatment which is some kind of oil. Hallelujah! The smell is gone! They also used some kind of orange fragrance which smells amazing and clean. I hadn't initially planned it but last minute asked them to clean part of another room and he did it without even charging me!! I will definitely use universal Chem dry again and would recommend to everyone with carpet. read more

I hired Jose at Universal Chem-Dry to clean my carpets September 2021 and he did an amazing job which I reported to Yelp at that time. Last week two days before out of town guests were to arrive, I accidentally knocked over a bottle of nail polish which actually catapulted up, spun and threw polish all over me, my glass dining room table, and yes, all over my carpet. I called Jose the next morning and he offered to come that very day but it was arrival day so we agreed on Monday, 2/14/22, 6 days later.As he usually does, he called before arriving to let me know he was on his way and his ETA. He arrived on time and scrubbed, heated, treated, and repeated the process for 1 1/2 hours and I now have bright, beautiful carpeting once again. I am just blown away at how hard he worked even though I attempted to lessen the stain with polish remover which is an absolute no-no and only made it worse. His rate was more than reasonable for the effort he put out in solving my problem. What a conscientious, hard working, honest and just plain nice and polite person he is! My carpet was in need of it's first cleaning. Since I have loved chem-dry for my other carpeting in the past, my previous chem-dry company turned out to be very unprofessional so I needed a new one. I checked with Yelp and found great reviews for Universal. Jose showed up on time the very next day, was masked, as promised on this site, worked quickly, efficiently, and steadily. When I needed further help with my carpet a couple weeks later, Jose came out early the next morning after my call and graciously and efficiently took care of my issue. Jose is an energetic, polite, detail oriented young entrepreneur who was very clear about the process and cost of the cleaning. I just want to start by saying that I thought my carpets were done for. Honestly I just wanted the carpets clean enough to live with as my plans were to rip them out. My wife and I recently bought a new house and the carpets were TRASHED. The previous owners had dogs & cats as pets and the carpets SHOWED... The carpets either had pet urine, pet feces, or animal vomit in each room and also had an odor. The technician Jose came out, reviewed all the areas and gave me a quote on doing a deep cleaning, sanitizer, and a pet treatment solution that treats bacteria left from animal accidents. He explained the process to me very well and made sure that I understood exactly what each step did and the importance of doing it right. The carpets were AMAZING after he finished. I kid you not the carpets were dark grey when he got here (which I thought was the original color), but after he finished the carpets had actually changed colors because of how filthy they were. I can't even imagine how bad it would have been for us to be breathing all that dirt and bacteria in. I will make a note that Jose did let us know ahead of time that in some cases any staining remaining after he was done cleaning may be permanent. I told him I understood and he was correct, the pet urine had done so much damage after not being cleaned that there was some discoloration in the carpet as a result. Any discoloration or staining that was there after the cleaning was done was permanent but Jose went above and beyond to ensure that he left our house clean and sanitized. My wife still wants to rip the carpets out later this year as she prefers wood flooring, but I am thinking of putting off the wood floors as the carpets are good for another few years. I 100% recommend Universal Chem-Dry to everyone. Stanley Steamers or Rapid Dry are trash compared to Universal Chem-dry. They used to be my go-to cleaners because I thought it was just soaking in water and they were clean but after Jose's explanation, I am never using anyone but Universal. Don't cheap out! read more

I am so happy I found Universal Chem-Dry. Jose is one of the most polite and hard working people I have met. My husband and I recently moved into our home and we needed a lot of work done before we moved in. The customer service was very nice and was patient with all my answers. When Jose arrived, he made sure to take his time to give us his best suggestion to tackle all of the carpet and tile & grout we have. The previous home owners had pets and we were concerned about some odor. My dog's bed was starting to get quite dirty and was in need of a good cleaning. My technician, Jose, was amazing, such a polite guy! He charged me a reasonable price considering how dirty the bed was and left my dog's bed looking brand new!
