Afterwards, he pointed out the now barely noticeable stains and said that it would continue working over the next few days until it was pretty much gone. Mario answered right away in the morning and offered to be at my house within the hour. I had gone on vacation and my nose had forgotten what my house smelled like and when I returned, the overpowering odor of my dog hit me in the face and I realized I could not live like this or ever have people over again. It was necessary for me to fire Mario because he refused to wear shoe covers on his wet and muddy shoes. During our initial conversation, there were indications that Mario may not have been entirely forthcoming regarding his services, as he repeatedly attempted to upsell, despite my insistence that I was only interested in the advertised service and not additional purchases. he arrived at the appointment two hours late, I noticed his shoes were wet and muddy and already made stains on the laminates. I provided him with the necessary shoe covers, but he disregarded my request and entered my premises uninvited, leaving mud and dirt stains on my carpets. When confronted about his actions, he said that the stains were the result of my reluctance to purchase additional services!! This behavior was unacceptable and led to his immediate termination. Response to the business owner comment on 4/21/2022: The recent comment provided by the business owner contains several inaccuracies that require clarification. Firstly, the business owner claimed to have 30 years of experience in the industry, while in their bio, they mentioned having started the business only 20 years ago. Secondly, the business owner falsely accused me of being an "unhappy person" who had left 31 negative reviews out of 40 reviews! He must have been reading another "unhappy customer" profile! I only posted approximately 25 reviews, of which only 5 were negative. I try to provide unbiased reviews, even though most reviews are typically posted by customers who have had negative experiences. Thirdly, the business owner's statement regarding my ethnicity and religion is inaccurate and surprising. My concern about muddy and wet shoes has nothing to do with my religious or ethnic background, and the mention of this information by the business owner is unwarranted. Finally, the business owner expressed dissatisfaction with my choice to purchase the cheapest service and implied that my decision was responsible for the business owner's behavior (making mess on my carpet)! Paying $150 for less than 200 sqf of carpet cleaning service cannot be considered inexpensive, and my choice to hire another vendor who charged $90 for the same job shows Mario was not providing the right and fair pricing for the service. read more
