Myra (office manager) was very sweet and got back to my quote and questions very fast, explained to me whats was included with maintenence cleaning my split AC indoor and outdoor units and was able schedule maintenance with my day time preference in 2 days. They partner with Hawaii Energy and gave me $150 off instant rebate for maintenance cleaning both my indoor and outdoor units, which made their rate very competitive compared to all the other company quotes. Cleaning day I was notified in advance when the technicians were on their way. The 2 technicians were professional and came on time with their company KK air conditioning truck and van. They were both very nice and patient with my 2 curious toddlers and dogs. The cleaning work was phenomenal, and both indoor and outdoor units were squeaky clean when they were done. 3.5% fee for credit card payment and received an email invoice receipt. Im very grateful to the KK air conditioning team and will definitely be calling them again. Thank you KK Air Conditioning!

In mid May 2024, I had our central air conditioning serviced. I contacted this company after…read morereading the reviews. The appointment was made very promptly and Myra was very friendly. On the day of the appointment, we noticed the two technicians were consulting with someone on the phone. We found out later it was the owner of the company. Long story short, they were confused about the drain lines and had to spend additional time "unclogging " them ( which we were charged for). We paid over $500 for this "service"! We were grateful for what we thought at the time was their due diligence and thoroughness. I even wrote a very complimentary review on their website. Fast forward to August 31, 2024 when we discovered a leak originating from the upstairs ceiling. The origin of the leak was an overflow of the drain pan from the air conditioning unit because the drain was not working properly! I immediately called KK air conditioning to let them know and Keith the owner came out. He informed us that the installation of the condensate pan was improperly installed (this is not true because this is not a new installation and we have had it assessed by two other AC companies since then and they did not mention improper installation) which caused the leak and that the technicians cleaned out the secondary drain because the primary drain was difficult to access as it was underground?!? I asked him why weren't we told this at the time since we're not the air conditioning experts and he replied, "they're just technicians " . Keith felt he was doing us a BIG favor by not charging us a fee for coming out to check on this problem. The cost for the damages of the leak was over $53 thousand dollars and took 3 months to resolve. Our homeowners insurance was increased 278 percent for 5 years!

Very professional and they did really nice work. We had three old wall (window) units taken out and three new ones put in. They were super friendly and efficient! Aaron advised that we can contact them for cleaning maintenance on the units and that was great to hear. Thank you A&E! He spent real time reviewing our home's setup to recommend where the outside unit should be located. We were pleasantly surprised by his perfect design. Never a short cut anywhere! Plus factoring in that we are located down towards South Point, most contractors just flaked or were not willing to come to us. This company went the extra mile(s) literally and I/we am/are completely willing to give a reference and/or answer questions about Craig's Air Conditioning, Jordan and my experience with the installation of my AC units. It's you all that make your business stand out above the rest. From the very beginning, working with Chris and Alma, all emails and conversations over the phone were professional, and easy going. They were both so easy to work with. Everything went perfectly. On the day of installation, I had made a mistake on my address, so I received a call. Alma was very forgiving and said no problem. Drake and Duane came by in just a few minutes after the call. Upon arrival, Drake and Duane went to work, respecting my property by laying out floor covering where they worked and removed all the rubbish. They gathered the window they needed to remove and neatly placed all the parts on the side for me. They needed to go in and out to grab supplies from their trucks and each time, again, respectful of my house, they removed their shoes each and every time. When the installation was complete, Drake explained about my new unit and answered all questions, and said if I ever needed help to just give them a call. Drake and Duane, you were awesome! Needless to say, I give Advanced A/C Contracting and 11 out of 10! 5 out of 5, platinum stars! Mahalo nui loa to you all for making this a pleasant business experience.

Overall, great staff and service! Tai (Manager) was a huge help from the very beginning. He was able to provide me with multiple quotes & possible design layouts for different split systems to look at my options and work within my budget. Not only that, he was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of info about AC systems, warranties and suggestions on installation. The workers were fast with installation as well and was able to work within my schedule. In the end, I decided to go with a Fujitsu tri-zone system for my townhome so that I'm able to have multiple indoor units but stick with 1 outdoor condenser as my association has restrictive guidelines for split AC systems. Plus, Fujitsu had a better warranty. I'd definitely reach out to them for maintenance when that time comes and on any future projects. If you ever go with them, tell them that Mark B's review sent you! :)

Within an hour, he was at our home checking out our system. Now THAT is service! Avery added Freon and also noticed a possible leak in our outside unit. Unfortunately, the Freon didn't last more than a few days, so we scheduled a follow-up visit during daylight hours so he could properly assess the unit. He found the leak, welded the area, and while completing the repair, our unit unfortunately went completely kaput. This was absolutely not Avery's fault. What really impressed us was how he handled everything afterward. He was on top of the situation the entire time and was incredibly reliable. Since we were going to be without our A/C for several days, he provided us with two temporary portable A/C units to keep us comfortable while everything was being worked out. Avery explained the different replacement systems available for our condo and recommended a Bosch system that he felt would be a good fit for our home. Once the new equipment arrived, he installed the new unit in our attic. Unfortunately, he discovered that the indoor and outdoor units weren't syncing properly. Again, this was something completely outside of his control. Rather than leave us with a problem, Avery worked with his supplier to locate the correct matching unit here in Hawaii. It took a few days to arrive from another island, but he stayed on top of everything until the right equipment was found and delivered. We now have a brand-new A/C system that works beautifully! To top it all off, Avery also replaced our drain pipes will doing the installation. Avery is an awesome guy, reliable, knowledgeable, honest, and truly cares about his customers. He could have easily walked away when things got complicated, but he didn't. He stuck with it until everything was right. If you need A/C repair or replacement, I highly recommend Avery and Cool Breeze! We are so grateful we found him through Yelp.
