We decided on Banh Mi's after I found Hello Banh Mi on Yelp. She got the Rainbow Sandwich and I ordered a Combo Ham Sandwich. She also ordered a Mango Slushy. The sandwiches were perfect. Great bread, crunchy veg, delicious fillings We got both in 12" that was enough for two meals. She enjoyed her Slushy. I did not try it. Service was friendly and we would definitely return if in the area. They also gave us a buy 10, get 1 free punch card which we gave to our friends who live locally.

You would think this is Homegrown part 2, similar vibes, no change in decor really (Kirkland Location) but it looks like it was started by Lisa Nordstrom. Was always a fan of Homegrown, but glad that Sona has replaced them in this location because the meals are more "meals" instead of more for just breakfast or lunch bites. The beef steak hits, the rice, sauce, sweet potato, arugula. I could eat this 4 days a week. Chicken was good too, Salmon not bad. All seemingly thoughtfully cooked. Haven't tried the smoothies yet, can't wait. All the employees were very friendly and prompt. The line to order went quick, but the wait for food did not. They kindly put together some tacos with refried beans subbed for the protein, even though it wasn't on their menu. We also had a bean/cheese burrito with some add-ons. Food was yummy. Great value and quick service. Appreciated their "excellent" rating. Note: the front parking lot is limited but there is reserved parking in the back lot.

With gas prices over six dollars and budgets getting tighter for so many the one thing that hinders me is their prices. Their baseline drinks are an average of $5.75 + tip. Quiche slice is $8 two hard boiled eggs near $4. Typical typically if I'm gonna spend almost $10 I'd rather buy a fancy drink like a bubble tea or go out for an appetizer and food. When you own your own espresso machine and Matcha at home it's hard to justify getting such expensive drinks unless there is that "I can't make this at home" appeal - housemade syrups, Boba, etc I do love that urban coffee lounge has pour over options which can be time-consuming and cold brew, which is delicious and also more time-consuming. Both have its discernable flavor in a good way. I highly recommend both flavors, which I suspect are rotating flavors. Service was friendly. I honestly think they have excellent gelato; by itself, it would have been five stars. I also honestly think their prices are hella expensive. $7.95 for one scoop. $8.95 for the two scoops stack on top of each other in the same small cup. Downtown Seattle gelato shop charges $5.95 and $7.95 respectively. They need to lower their prices.
