So much parking-the drive-thru drop box-passport service-the extra mailing supplies and greeting…read moreand gift cards, the self-serve kiosk for mailing small packages and buying stamps. And all of that's before you even get to the counter. Yes, the line gets long from time to time, but they also keep it moving. The postal clerks are helpful and good at problem-solving/special requests. I don't dread this errand, I enjoy it-and that's saying a lot. I've lived in Brandon 20 years next month and the service and facilities here have always been good. I appreciate it.

If there were a way to give NEGATIVE stars, this place would deserve every one of them. For 11 long…read moreyears I've watched the Oakfield Drive post office set new records for incompetence, laziness, and flat-out disregard for customers. Management Disaster!! Kim and Arthur wear the title "manager," but don't let that fool you - they're glorified excuse-makers. Instead of asking "How can we fix this?" their default response is "We can't help." Honestly, I wouldn't trust either of them to walk my dog, much less run a federal facility. When leadership is that bad, the rest of the crew follows suit. Bare-minimum effort is the rule: lost packages, mis-scans, and "not our problem" shrugs are standard operating procedure. They'd rather point fingers at each other than lift one to solve an issue. $600 Gone in One Year Alone Package #1: "Temporary" carrier outright stole it ~ poof, vanished. Package #2: A carrier was too lazy to place the box in the parcel locker, so it sat in plain sight and was snatched within hours. Package #3: I explicitly asked to refuse delivery on a late shipment from a scam company located in China. Carrier dropped it anyway, then supposedly returned it. Now the tracking is a black hole and I'm out another $300. Escalation? A Joke. I spoke with "escalation area manager" Amy Alley - just another dead end. All she did was recycle the same useless apologies and pass the blame. This branch operates like a comedy skit - only nobody's laughing, especially not the customers losing time and money. If you value your parcels ~ or your sanity ~ steer clear of the Oakfield Drive USPS. It's the very definition of postal misery.

I shipped my package on July 21st and it was suppose to arrive on July 24th. I did receive tracking…read morefor the package which was gifts asking my best friend to be a part of my wedding. She lives in Land O' Lakes which is what the packing slip that was stuck on the box said and my receipt. I checked in with my friend today, August 21st, because I found it odd I hadnt heard from her yet. Checked the tracking # and to my dismay, my package was sent to an address in Miami and tracking said it was accepted and signed for. I dont know anyone in Miami. This means after I left, SOMEONE at this location changed my shipping label!!!! And probably sent to family or friends they know. This location is running a sham operation. I only say that because a reviewer had a similar experience to me to my dismay so this isn't the first time! I work for local law enforcement and best believe I WILL be reporting this location for theft to USPS! The cherry on top, when I called to inquire my package went to MIA, the sales rep on the phone VERBATIM said it wasnt there problem and to contact customer service and then proceeded to hang up on me!!! Do not use this location!!!!

I will give this post office a 1 Star ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE FRIENDLY and I obviously cannot give…read morethem less than that. Other than that, I wish I could give them -10 stars based on the simple fact that I came here 1 time and only 1 time to deliver a very important package to find out 2-3 weeks later that the customer I sent it to never received her package. Not only did I have to replace this entire order out of my own pocket (it ended up costing me approx $30 in materials and an additional $14 for postage) due to the fact that someone at the post office had sticky hands and kept the package for themselves (or simply threw it out). I will NEVER use this post office again!!!! Just because the package you check in looks pretty and it appears their may be something worth value inside doesn't give you the right to keep it for yourself!!! Oh and I find it very interesting that the man and woman standing in the post office (workers I assume - out of uniform on a Friday) asked me all about what I was sending and I stupidly told them. I can't help but think they were the ones who stole the package now that I think about it. They didn't even scan the package in to show they received it! No receipt, no scan, no proof which they can later say they never received it. Unfortunately, I was too busy remaking the items in that package that I didn't think about reviewing them on google until now. This package was sent several months ago and I am now just getting around to leaving a review which I wish I would have done right away so they could nail those thieves. Luckily, I haven't had any issues with my local post offices so I will just stick to the USPS stores that have been tried and true for me and my business. I refuse to step foot in this location again. It left a really bad taste in my mouth about them and I still cannot believe how they got away with not physically scanning my package in... I should have been more aware. Hopefully they will or already have hired more trustworthy workers.
