Am not sure why the rating is soo low, but they were really accommodating, friendly and ready to help. Both the people at the counter today were great.The lady took me in as the last walk-in and the Javier helped me through the process. Took me through the application line by line and made sure all the t's were crossed and I's were dotted. They even gave me couple extra minutes to get my docs. Good information to know They take 5 walk-ins per day and luckily I was the 5th!!! They have put a poster though mentioning that the League City Post Office at 240 W Galveston St., were taking walk-in applications till 2 pm. The processing charge was standard processing charge nothing special to mention about that. Very much appreciated their help. I won't hesitate a bit to come back here again. read more

We had a very frustrating experience here when applying for a passport. I debated writing this review, but ultimately decided to share so others can make an informed choice. At the time of our appointment, the employee (AA. Male) handling passports was focused on assisting another customer who had arrived late and had not completed her paperwork. Instead of prioritizing those who were on time and prepared, he spent a significant amount of time chatting, flirting and helping her fill out forms. From our understanding, most passport offices require you to arrive on time with completed paperwork, otherwise you risk losing your appointment slot. This gentleman could've easily woman moved this woman to the side to allow her time to complete the necessary paperwork. Also, I didn't even think the employees could fill your paperwork out for you. We arrived on time with everything filled out and ready, and our appointment could have been completed quickly. Unfortunately, we were left waiting while attention was given elsewhere. It felt disorganized and unfair, especially given how strict most passport services are about timing and preparation. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering another location if you're looking for an efficient and professional passport appointment. read more

We had a terrible experience at this post office, largely because it is understaffed. Despite arriving at our scheduled passport appointment on time, we had to wait over 50 minutes to be seen. In addition, this location is in need of renovation - there is insulation hanging out of a hole in the ceiling, wallpaper that is peeling off of the wall, cobwebs, and various bugs crawling around. I have had 3 packages "lost" from this Post Office, in the past 2 months. I am always getting other people's mail in my box. I have to then return it to the Post Office. These carriers need to be re-trained or replaced. I have lived at this address 10 years, and service has been horrible from day 1. read more

Since we have been leaving in this area July 20, 2020, this post office have the WORST mail carriers. They constantly are losing or stealing my merchandise, putting wrong key in the wrong postal mailboxes. The postmaster is not professional and loyal to her customers, Why would you keep a mail carrier if they kept making the same MISTAKE? They received my package on June 15th, the carrier put it in the wrong mailbox, now they are saying that they don't have my package. This is the third time this month that they have misplaced or lost my parcel. I have made a formal complaint with the USPS. The worst post office ever. read more

Every time I come here it's never superb service but never terrible service either. They do passport applications here so if you live in the area come get your passports here! I'm giving this place a 3 star because of the service. If it's slow there's only one person working the front and sometimes they don't even acknowledge you until you speak up or ring the bell so I suggest you ring the bell! I used to like the fact that they had their own number but now they use a toll free number and that bothers me because they never answer their phone.. but when they had their own number they would always answer their phone! I've gotten my passport done here and the process was actually pretty quick! So I suggest coming here because this location is primarily a little slower. read more

Sent a family member a package for their new arrival. I was so excited for them to receive the gift until I checked tracking to see this Manvel post office location returned my package. I double checked being sure not to assume. Everything was correct. EVERYTHING. The name and address. They noted that the addressee was not found. I'm still trying to figure out how a package addressed to Katy is sent to Manvel? USPS has really been lacking in every way lately. Gone are the days businesses go out of their way to make you have a good experience or actually care about inconveniencing the customer. This is the 3rd time in a months time that I have had issues with them. Another location removed my item from its packing and delivered it without the box I shipped it in. Like huh? I don't understand it. I am so frustrated and truly need to find another option to send my packages. read more

I rated this place 1 because I can't rate 0! When to this place to renew my passport. The WORST, RUDEST, and RACISM customer service that I received from here! The place wasn't busy. I was the 2nd person on line but they have people walk-ins cut in front of me! So, I waited for my turn with a black guy (i were told that his name is Jame) he refused to help me and tell me go to another counter to finis. I was very mad and about to walk out But I need my passport to be done! while I was finishing .. I saw him walking around doing nothing.He doesn't even says sorry or the reason why he doesn't want to process my passport application. I though this is an government service why they are hiring this kinds of people to work here! We paid taxes and the services we received is terrible! read more

I purchased some glasses online from the UK & the seller chose to send it via registered mail. I was not home when the USPS tried to deliver it, so I had to go all the way to Manvel to pick it up. This is crazy because Pearland is MUCH closer to my home. There were three workers on duty. Two were in the back gossiping. The other was helping people with passports. He stopped when someone he knew came in, but mostly just stood there watching a mother fill out the application for her daughter's passport. Finally, after I had been in line for 15 minutes, one of the other workers came around the corner and noticed that there were two parties in line. It took a while to find my package and they did not even make me sign for it! Why not just leave it at the house? Why leave a notice that states that a signature is required. I dislike the USPS and rarely use the mail. FedEx had decent rates for important items and I pay most everything else online. read more

The postal service has gone down tremendously and this place is a direct example. They are super slow and there is always a line out the door. They are not friendly and don't even think they will try to multitask because that will not happen. They take one person at a time even though, they can help someone else while that one person is filling out their documents or completing a passport application. It's rare that I use the USPS anymore but when I do, it's like going to the dentist and no one looks forward to going to the dentist. read more

I recently received another smashed package. I frequently have mail in my box that belongs to assorted neighbors. The post office itself is a dump; I have of yet to walk in when it is clean. Amazon informed me that they can't guarantee me that packages will be delivered by services other than USPS. They suggested I get a private mailbox in a different zip code. I suggest that you do the same. read more

horrible went to get my boys passport on the 03/15 and I called the passport agency they said the have no record of any of the order. not only that they keep my original divorce paper to send with it and they never got it so frustrated and we are suppose to go on vacation in june. horrible read more

Absolute worse service ever! Set an appointment to get my passport and take my picture there since they do offer this service. Only to get there and the camera is broken. All the emails and text reminders that they sent. They didn't think to add that in the reminders. I was told to get a picture elsewhere. Had I known i would've done so but since I didn't i lost my appointment and they are a week out!! read more
