went there to get just a couple international stamps stamp. there were 2 females behind the…read morecounter. one of them was clearly goofing off. she did nothing but pretend to be cleaning her work area or walking off to the back every 5 minutes coming back and pretending to be fixing her work area. this went on until i left about a half hour later. she helped no one . i had two people in front of me and several behind. the first person just needs stamps and the only other girl there got him the stamps. the next person was sending a small 8 x 1o in. package. it took the girl a full 25 minutes to figure out how to do it. she just kept looking at her computer screen and playing with the paperwork. at that point i said to the lady behind me "this is unbelievable" not sure if she heard me. he left & i went to the same girl. she then said to me we're closed. i said what ? she said yep and started to walk away. it was 4:30 i checked my watch. they close at 5 pm. she then changed her mind i guess. returned and rudely said "what do you want ? " i said i just need 2 international stamps. she got them for me and i left. what a rude individual. i guess there is nobody supervising these slackers. i've sent many packages from here to hong kong with other clerks and the process has never taken more than 10 or15 minutes 'tops" the guy in front of me was sending his small package to columbus. what a joke. these individuals need to be disiplined.

This post office is hands-down, the worst post office I've had the misfortune of visiting. Due to my job, I visit regional post offices nearly daily and this one is the absolute worst. In particular, a woman with a thick foreign accent and blonde hair. She was so precise and meticulous (you'd think that would be a good thing, it isn't in this case) in her job, she was oblivious and uncaring to the massive line forming. She had no sense of urgency and she was giving every customer an incredibly hard time. So much that it had to be intentional. The person in front of me had a prepaid first class package they were dropping off that weighed in at 9.1 ounces. She would not accept the package because the person only paid for 9 ounces. I openly gawked in disbelief. I thought I was on some candid camera or reality show. I don't know what her problem is, but she should not be working in customer service. She does a disservice to customer service and I'm appalled she works in a capacity where she's allowed to abuse people because she doesn't have to account for her actions.

We returned at the time we were instructed, only to wait an additional 15 minutes for the same employee. Additionally, when my husband and I scheduled appointments for our passports, our appointments were canceled twice without adequate explanation. This location clearly needs a better scheduling system and improved customer service. Appointments should be honored, and customers' time should be respected. I hope management takes steps to improve these ongoing issues.
