The people who deliver packages don't bother half the time. They don't even leave a note. I have to call and the post office says I was not home. I was, waiting for the package. I need a mail box for my business. That transaction would appear straightforward, right? Just show up, toss them money, pick out a box, and soon you'll be reading Viagra ads and Giant Eagle fuel perks flyers. Ever have one of those experiences where you keep looking around, for a hidden camera? These people can't possibly be doing this stuff on purpose, right? They can't be this incompetent. Please tell me this is a joke. Here's the timeline: Rented a box, got the "notify me by e-mail if I have mail" feature, that way I don't have to stop by every day to peek into that depressingly empty box. I intentionally haven't used the new box number, because I wanted to make sure the notification system worked, first. Month goes by, nothing. Not even junk mail. I'm just about to mail a piece of phantom mail of my own, just to test the system when... Phone rings. Saturday afternoon. Guy at the Broadview Heights post office, asks if I have received any mail. Uh, no. Why? "Oh, we thought your box was vacant, so we gave it to somebody else." But. But. But... I, uh, PAID for a year. "Yeah, so we gave you a different box." What? "We assigned you a different box." Sheesh. So, they say I have to come in, exchange keys, get the new keys. Brother. So I dutifully (and stupidly) do as told, show up, stand in the obligatory line, talk with THREE people, and no one can figure it out. "Call Tony tomorrow. Here's his number." Oh, sure. I'll waste another hour of my ever-dwindling life in this futile attempt to get some sort of return on my investment. You people deserve to be unemployed. I'm pretty sure there's no hidden camera. When a mailman delivered my priority mail to the wrong address, the manager assured me that it had been delivered to my house. He promised to do everything he could to solve the dilemma. He was wrong about the delivery and didn't do anything to help. The package showed up a few days later when a good samaritan was nice enough to drop it off...and I had lost a $1000 deal. The manager never apologized or acknowledged that his 'reliable carrier' had made a mistake. Maybe he was too busy assuring the next victim that he would do everything to help. Talk is cheap. Do not mail your mortgage payment from this post office. If you do you better learn to spell F-O-R-E-C-L-O-S-U-R-E. It seems whenever I would mail bill payments form my home or office from this branch they would be late. I agree with the rest of the reviews, the staff seems to have molasses in their arteries. If you need your mail to get there on time, go next door to the urgent care center, you can hop on the medical helicopter that flies in most days. Officially frustrated with the Broadview Heights post office and its employees. I've lived in Broadview Heights for about 3.5 years now. In that time, I've had maybe 2-3 packages delivered to the wrong address and also received the wrong package for neighbors. Thankfully, our neighbors will usually bring them to us, however, I've been missing a package that was marked as "delivered" since 11/16. I've called probably 5 times and even spoke to someone in person to no avail. They keep saying they will contact the carrier to have them recheck other mailboxes, but I'm pretty sure that has not been done. My package was delivered somewhere, or perhaps stolen in the short time between delivery and when I checked the mail that day. Beyond tired of being told they'll call me back - it's all bs. Only giving them two stars because while they're lying to me about finding out what happened to my package, at least they're nice while doing so. And we do receive MOST of our packages and mail. I guess I'll never know what happened to my package and will report it lost. If anyone received a package to the wrong address somewhere in Broadview Heights, please do the right thing and deliver it? Thanks. read more

Unbelievable. I missed an Amazon delivery because the carrier "couldn't get into the building." I am in a condo complex with all private entrances so of course they couldn't get into my private condo! Instead of leaving the package at the door, it went back to the post office and now my delivery is delayed. When I called the post office to inquire, they said said that there are substitute drivers on Sundays so they probably didn't know what to do. This is what we are forced to accept. I'm done shipping with usps! The shipping speed is absolutely horrid. Calling the usps 1800 number and trying to talk to an actual person is probably one of the hardest things on Earth (this makes me think that usps as a whole has terrible customer service, not just this location). The service at this location is a nightmare and it's all because of "Miss Jones". They have two GENTLEMEN that work the front desk which actually see to care about their jobs and the organization as a whole but then Miss Jones comes around treats everyone (including customers and mainly customers) like trash. I've had multiple encounters with Miss Jones and every single time, I'm left infuriated. After shipping 1-2 items per week for over two years, I'm done with usps. The one desk clerk has a horrible attitude. She always acts like she is doing you a big favor by waiting on you. I have had her several times and her demeanor is always the same. She is in customer service and is suppose to act accordingly. It is time for her to retire. I dread going to that post office. The person who was wonderful at his job is now working in the back. For this Broadview Heights Post Office, the customer service representative (i.e. clerk) was so very nice. He went out of his way to make sure my documents were properly mailed out, and explained how Certified Mail works in an easy-to-understand way. I like that they are open till 5:30, where many others are opened till 5:00. read more

Ok, waiting for a check in mail but driveway is getting done. Postman passes us up and goes on No problem we'll just get it next day right? Postman comes and delivers next day mail, no check. Call post office and speak to a Miss Jones and ask if our mail is there from the day before when our driveway was being worked on, she was abrasive and impolite and said the postman would have delivered it the next day. I asked her to check to see if there was a mistake, she refused saying it would be delivered. Guess what it came the next day with "driveway blocked" written on it. Service at the this post office is, to say the least, poor. Service is usually slow. The clerks take their "good old time" to do everything. Two clerks were at the counter on 1-09-2009; one was assisting a customer; I stood for over a minute at the "Wait to be called" sign before the second clerk, who was exchanging small talk with the other clerk, said "I can help you." read more

BAD, BAD, BAD customer service. I recently got a P.O. Box at this sad excuse for a post office after months of having problems with packages being misdirected or otherwise lost by my carrier. In the last two weeks alone, they have neglected to place any kind of indication that I have a package to be picked up at the counter in my box. The only way I knew I had a package was because the sender's tracking number indicated it. They found the first package, and the clerk said she didn't know what happened. Just glad they found it. Not so lucky with the next one, unfortunately. I called the post office and spoke with the manager, Aisha House. What a joke. She just kept insisting that the package was delivered to the box. I kept telling her that it had not been, and she had a hundred excuses, which all ended with the package being left in the box. I had several packages in the box that day, and she even suggested that I must have made a mistake and I actually had it. It went on and on. She talked over me, causing me to raise my voice a decibel, which cause her to admonish me, by raising HER voice, that I was not to raise my voice to her. End result--no package--too bad. Get over it. We went around and around with her finally putting me on interminable hold after asking me to hold repeatedly, presumably to take a breath before she went postal. When I hear about the postal services woes, I can't help but laugh. With service like this, and we've all experienced it, it is no wonder they are going under. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!! read more

Ive lived in several cities and have always done plenty though the mail. This is by far some of the worst people to deal with of all time. The people you talk to on the phone are some of the rudest people. On my latest problem they pretty much just called me a liar and hung up. read more

I'm ready to ship my package. I take it out of my car, and I feel a small excitement in my stomach to deliver it. I walk in the door to this post office, and I have never seen a more wretched place of scum and villainy. The line is almost out the door, and there's a woman working behind the counter who obviously would rather be anywhere other than here. I reluctantly walk into the line, and I observe the female employee. I see her yelling, and I mean yelling, at an old man who clearly can not hear very well; he is wearing a hearing aid. I feel a deep nervousness in my stomach to go up to that terrifying counter, this woman is intimidating. After some long minutes pass, it's my turn to face my fear. I slowly walk up, and she disrespectfully yells at me just like she did to the rest of the customers. All I'm thinking of as she speaks to me is "wow, she gets PAID for this??" I finally walk out of there with no pride left. As I get out, I need to remove this memory from my mind for good. So there you have it, the worst post office you can ever visit. And this isn't the first time I've been disrespected there, it's happened many other times in the past. But now, I have made up my mind, and I will never return. read more

From the delivery drivers all the way up to management at this facility are terrible. I made a complaint that an amazon package I get once a month was not delivered to my mailbox after tracking said it was delivered and this must have hurt their feelings because every package after that one has not been delivered, but they are marking it as delivered for tracking.
