After contacting the police and the post office, I found out that one of the mail carriers got robbed of their keys a few years ago and they still have not changed the locks. Anyone from south Stark County to Cuyahoga County, do not use the outdoor collection mail boxes in these areas, whether it's at a Post Office or a free standing one. Especially if you are sending a check or anything else valuable.

If this was the case, there had been no information sent to me via any communication line. I showed the teller my confirmation email and my paperwork. She immediately said "can't do it you don't have your ID." I did have my ID in my purse. It came off as though she simply didn't want me there at all. Then, I asked if things were filled out right and she focused on one particular thing and asked the same question about it three times, still dismissive of the situation. Finally she asked if I had my birth certificate. I did not, and that's on me, and that's entirely understandable. However, her attitude leading up to that point was entirely unprofessional and rude. This was my first experience at this Post Office and I have no intention of a second experience after how awful this one was.

This post office is hands-down, the worst post office I've had the misfortune of visiting. Due to my job, I visit regional post offices nearly daily and this one is the absolute worst. In particular, a woman with a thick foreign accent and blonde hair. She was so precise and meticulous (you'd think that would be a good thing, it isn't in this case) in her job, she was oblivious and uncaring to the massive line forming. She had no sense of urgency and she was giving every customer an incredibly hard time. So much that it had to be intentional. The person in front of me had a prepaid first class package they were dropping off that weighed in at 9.1 ounces. She would not accept the package because the person only paid for 9 ounces. I openly gawked in disbelief. I thought I was on some candid camera or reality show. I don't know what her problem is, but she should not be working in customer service. She does a disservice to customer service and I'm appalled she works in a capacity where she's allowed to abuse people because she doesn't have to account for her actions.
