Not friendly at this location. I stopped in to do a return while I was in the area. I wasn't greeted at all. I showed my QR code to the employee. She still doesn't speak or ask me anything. I give credit where credit is due. Now, I'm all about second chances and giving people a chance to redeem themselves. I went back to this location, and I groaned at when I saw my favorite USPS employee, Paul. ( insert sarcasm). I couldn't believe this guy was smiling, and even was using manners, please, and how can I help you?! I was like, is this guy his good twin? No. It was original Paul. Although the post office could use a makeover and renovation, and 3 coats of fresh paint. Maybe some plants too. He was pleasant. Helped me ship a lot of stuff because I don't have the patience to figure out measurements and packaging and rates. He even offered me a dolly to pick up large packages to take to my car. I saw this cat at the Kentlands location, and he remembered my name, Hello Miss J, how are you? Whaaaaat! I was shocked, he remembered my name. I was thinking, was I on the news or what? Ok. So I hope this type of customer service doesn't plummet. I don't like leaving one-star reviews, but places that improve vastly in customer service most certainly deserve an updated review. read more

Don't get a PO Box here if you need things quickly. They've been taking 2+ business days to distribute packages. When you go in you can always hear several employees in the back laughing and chatting, so it's frustrating when you come by 2-3 days in a row for your package(for work mind you) and it still isn't in your box, even when you've received delivery confirmation. Also, if you ask for something, more than half of the time they're short and rude. I've seen people in here without their mask on and employees do nothing, or don't mind if their own mask isn't on properly. We won't be renewing our PO Box. If you're looking for a casual PO Box, then this place is fine I guess. read more

I was in the area and was looking for USPS and this was the closest location. I had to drop off my passport for renewal. Place was empty. I was greeted immediately and said I need to mail this package out. He knew it was for passport because of the address and he made sure I had all the required fees/docs in the envelope before I ship. He also handed me a travel document to see my status. Very friendly and good customer service. read more

This is for the passport services I made an appointment for a picture and an initial passport. I got a call an hour before the appointment, telling me that they could not take the picture and that I would need to go elsewhere. Fine, did that. I get to the post office and waited for my appointment. I was told that I could not get a passport because I had one when I was a kid and didn't have the passport with me. Mind you, that passport expired when I was 16 and I'm almost 40 now. He also said that because my name has changed I needed to bring a certified copy of my marriage certificate. This seemed wrong, so I called the state department passport services. Turns out I had everything I needed and was inappropriately denied the ability to apply for my passport. So to the USPS: please make sure your employees know what they're doing. I wasted a bunch of time and now need to head over to another place to submit my application. As an FYI: the employee's name was Paul. A few other people in the post office at the same time as me came up to me and said that he was a complete jerk. I'd avoid him if you can. read more

Note: This review is only for the passport services. Honestly, I had no idea this post office was even back here! I ended up here, because for whatever reason, the post office near my home doesn't answer the phone. (Terrible.) Anywho, it took me over 30 years to finally take the plunge and apply for my passport, so my nerves were already a little shaky. My appointment was 11:30 am, I arrived 20 mins early. There were only 4 customers ahead of me when I got there, but the wait was borderline ridiculous. 2 of the only 3 employees were dealing with complaining customers. Obviously, their transactions were done, but they kept talking anyway. In a perfect world, they'd ask those customers to move to the side and wait to speak with the manager, so others can be helped. Nope. This goes on for almost 15 mins and now a line is forming behind me. Once one of the employees finally frees up, I step up and he holds his hand out, announcing that he's now only doing packages. I tried so hard not to look annoyed at this guy. I stepped up anyway, asking for passport services. He got so annoyed with me, started asking if I had an appointment, looking at his watch, giving me the "sure you do" face. Of course I do! Really, sir? Really? He asks my last name, 3 times. Another employee on the other side announces my last name, 3 more times. Super loud! Everyone in line now knew my last name, why I was there and what time my appointment was. Great. So now they tell me to move to the side and wait. Oooh, so now you tell a customer to wait?? Come on, man. So, I wait. *sigh* I have no choice. At this point I'm there a little over 25 mins now. Finally, it's my turn! They did all my paperwork right up front. Out there in the open. For everyone to see and hear. Awesome. By the time I left, everyone knew everything about me... where I'm from, where I'm going, my name, my address, my phone number. Geez. Maybe it's like that everywhere, but I wasn't expecting that. I'll admit, the employee who did my paperwork was really nice once he got started, which helped a little. Just a little. This is the first post office that cannot print a shipping label with a complete mailing address. After I paid for a flat rate priority mail and noticed the shipping label had only printed the city and zip code, missing the street address despite I gave her the complete address. So I confronted her, saying at other usps locations they always print out label with complete address. This very rude old asian lady at the service counter started to talk: "Why don't you just go there then", "I can void your transaction if you like". Unreal, if this were a privately run business she would not last one day... read more

Very very bad service. I have had a package missing since late June. It is now 2nd week of September, and not their manager or staff can tell me where my valuable goods are. The tracking number says it's still sitting in their office. Yet, no one can find it, and they haven't even tried to look for it and follow up a call with an update. Tracking number is 9405528206334075723973 and it's still sitting there, yet no call back where my package is. Don't use USPS especially this one!!!! read more

I go here on a daily bases to drop off packages. Parking is a nightmare no matter what time you go. There are only about 20-30 spots all of which about 80% are taken by employees. I always just double park to drop off my bins of packages. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the employees are very nice to work with. read more

This post office has the worst customer service! There is an employee that works there named Paul and he is the absolute worst! I have witnessed him treat other people very poorly and every time I come here, I pray that he does not have to service me. Unfortunately today I had the misfortune of dealing with him....I am rating this location on my experience with him because I believe that the managers are aware of his behavior and have chosen to do nothing about it. I'm not sure how this location can be trusted with our mail and can't be trusted to hold their employees to a standard of professionalism. read more
