Bought one of their most expensive gas fireplaces from Travis Industries. The unit was not…read moreproperly vented when it was installed and Lisac's and Travis both refuse to come out and fix it. Tried to use it one time, just for ambiance but after about 45 minutes my carbon monoxide detectors went off and the fire department had to come out and vent out my house in the middle of winter. I was told by the fire department TVF&R not to use this again until it is properly vented, I called Travis and they told me I need to burn the fireplace for at least an hour to break it in, I told him (think his name was Mark) that it gives off carbon monoxide and he told me I needed to open a window. Of course you probably won't survive! Prior to that incident, Lisac sent out three different techs to fix the unit. Each worked for a couple of hours moving things around and opening and closing vents but never got the unit to do what it supposed to do. This unit is advertised as heating 3,000 square feet, but mine you'd have to lean against the glass to even know it was on. Spoke with Scott at Lisac and he had no interest in getting my fireplace to work, acted like it wasn't their fault or concern. So, here I am with a beautiful and very expensive fireplace that is not good for much of anything. Thank you Lisac's and Travis Industries. Stay clear of both of these companies, there are plenty of other really good fireplace shops and fireplace manufacturers, you don't have to settle ones that just don't care.

Blairco has done maintenance on my HVAC for about 20 years. When it was time to replace the aging…read moresystem, I contacted Blairco to install a new air handler and heat pump--a high efficiency Carrier system. The new HVAC is remarkably efficient, quiet--we should have replaced our system years ago. The Blairco team was top-notch, running diagnostics, sales advice, installation and training on the new system. Everyone on the Blairco team has been first-class, with special kudos to Martin, who fabricated the connections to our 80-year-old ducting and installed the new system over two days. There are no weak dinks in this crew--outstanding workmanship and quality product.

We obviously turned the gas off to it, but then we were in a new area with no idea who we could get to fix it. I'm so glad that I found Sure Flame online because not only were they willing to come out to our rural home, but Elijah also spent over 4 hours troubleshooting, tweaking, and cleaning up the fireplace as he ruled out all of the least expensive repairs. While we did end up having to replace an expensive part, I trusted that it was actually necessary because he really did try everything else first! In addition, It's apparently part of a regular service call for them to clean up the fireplace, wipe down the glass, and even spray the interior with fresh heat-safe paint, so our fireplace even LOOKS almost new again! So excited to have a fireplace we'll get to enjoy as the temperatures drop at our new home and I'll definitely be using Sure Flame for their annual service check-up too!

Overhead door got back to me right away, my door is discontinued but they found old stock in their storage and cut me a pretty good deal. I also wasn't going to be charged anything if the door panels brought out weren't compatible, despite the distance. The work was done, it was done well and the quoted price was it, no hidden fees or anything else when it came time to cut the check. The work done at my old place was great, in 8 years I never had one issue with the products installed. At my new home I can say the same except for when I damaged it! I'm sure there are cheaper companies out there, I think you get what you pay for. Overhead doors products have been great, they were fast and responsive and willing to work with me when I needed a repair fast.
