The Happy Outlet scheduled a Pod to be delivered to my home to put all my stuff in. They also made a hotel reservation for 10 days. These were both included in my quote. They scheduled the job for 5/18 to 5/27. The week included the Memorial Day holiday. And I was not informed that would be no work on Thursday of that week. I went home to water my plants on Friday, and saw not a lot of work had been done. I live in a 76 year old house, I knew there would be issues but I was told it could be done in 10 days. There was a lot of phone calls, texts and unhappy emails. The job was completed on Thursday 5/28. I moved back in my house on 5/27. After a very rocky start to the job and misinformation I am extremely happy with the work they have done. The guys worked very hard to get it done. My house is now up to code. The only reason for the 4 star review is for the miscommunication in the beginning. It was very stressful my cat and myself. Would I hire them again? Yes I would, in fact I need another outlet. I couldn't believe how fast the old one came down and the new one went up. My roof is slanted with solar panels up there, there is a 4ft wide space in between but it requires care when maneuvering around them. Several other men came just to help swap the units and then they were gone. Again really nice young men. Tyler came out and did a fantastic job. He was clearly very knowledgeable and had all the tools to properly diagnose the issue. Fast forward to May of 2026. The air conditioning condenser froze up and again I called Fidelity our home warranty company. They sent out a different company and the very young gentleman was not very sharp. His recommendation to fix the issue was to remove the air filter in the system. I asked him to check the load on the blower motor (same issue we had before) and he said he was only able to check it with the cover off because he did not have the proper tools. Fidelity called the next day and advised they were not covering any warranty work because the air conditioner was still under manufacture warranty. I then called the manufacturer and they advised Beach & Sons Mechanical was an authorized service company. I called and spoke to the receptionist and explained my issue. I advised her Tyler was the one who came out last time and I book an appointment for him to come give a second opinion. Tyler arrived within the scheduled time, had all the proper tool and clearly knew exactly how to work on the air conditioning unit. He checked all of the various settings, pressure, and levels. By the time he had left the system was working perfectly. I highly recommend Tyler and Beach & Sons Mechanical. We had an unusual problem with a circuit in our manufactured home and called Minden Electric because of a recommendation. Simon, one of the owners, came out first thing the next morning. He was unfamiliar with the wiring in a manufactured home but figured out the problem. He even went back to the office and returned with an employee who had to go under the home and together they fixed the problem. They were great. They mainly do commercial jobs but stuck with us until the job was done. Great people to work with. Highly recommended!

My renter needed an electrical outlet changed so he could use his dryer. According to him, the serviceman diagnosed the problem in five minutes, and upon his return took about 10 or 12 minutes to install the new 220 outlet- a total of 20 minutes. My wife, who phoned in the order, never was told that there iwas a one hour labor service charge of $75; in the bill they tacked on another half an hour. When I got the bill, I called FOUR times- it took a week before I finally got someone to pick up a phone, and to agree to a compromise: pay only the $75 service call plus the part. That seemed reasonable. However, he never communicated this to a rather rude woman who called me a week later.She continued to interrupt me as I explained how unhappy I was with their service. As a businessman myself, I believe one should make every effort to satisfy a customer. My solution: First, tell the customer what the service charge is prior to taking the job, and secondly, if the customer has a problem with your service, return his calls and deal constructively with the problem. I cannot think of a time when I have had worse service. Howard
