I was looking into getting solar for my home and was recommended by a friend to call Mike Alston at…read moreSES. Mike walked me through the process and said I needed 25 panels and 4 batteries for my system. He said my system would produce 120% for me and the contract guarantees 85%. He said the batteries would work great for me and would get me through the night when the solar system was not being utilized. He said it should only take a few hours in the morning for the batteries to recharge. Everything was installed and I am now in a contract with Eventbrite. I spoke with one of the installers when they were installing the solar panels and he mentioned there was a large amount of shade on my roof everyday and he was surprised they were putting the system on. I said Mike never mentioned there was an issue other than 1 branch by my garage that I had already removed. I trusted that Mike would have mentioned something about the amount of trees and how they would affect my solar production. Since the system has been installed I have seen that my system is producing 10-15% for me. I average of about 80 % or more dependability on the grid daily. If I utilize my battery's to help through out the day they get down to 15% and it takes up to 5 days to recharge them. (Not a few hours as Mike Alston said) I am so worried about using my battery's to help with my solar through the day because it takes so long to recharge them and I may need them if the power goes out. I have called Mike Alston about this issue and he said he looked into it and said they don't know what to do because they used to"Everbrites System" to look at my house and it showed plenty of sun. He said he sees that there is an issue and I should be getting way more power and told me SES have escalated the issue to Everbrite. Alan messaged me a few weeks later and said he was not getting any traction from everbrite and I should reach out myself. How the hell is this my issue now?? I now had a large bill for the solar and a large bill for Pg&E since I don't produce enough solar energy. I really don't understand why this is happening. Mike and Alan and the SES team seemed like they had such great customer service before I signed the contract. It seems that after I signed the contract their service has gone out the window and now the solar issue falls in my lap to deal with. I was really looking forward to having a worthwhile Solar system on my house and creating a good review for this company. Due to the above issue I cannot. As of today I do not recommend this company for solar based off of the issues I have been facing and zero help from this company.

I just had my Solar system installed by Sustainable Energy Solutions and everything went great. I…read morecontacted 5 other companies before moving forward. The other companies didn't even care about me. They just wanted me to sign the contract. My neighbor went with the biggest solar company, we started the process at the same time but he is till waiting for his approval.

We started our renovation 4 years ago. Our house was about 40 years old when we purchased it. This…read morehouse has not been taken care of since being built. I am not as emotional about what happened anymore. After all it is just a house, our HOME we love and just a lot of money that we are working hard for... But I would like to share our experience with other people and hopefully help them to avoid the mistake we have made. Here is a summary of facts to make a long story short... My biggest mistake was to think that the roof should be done last after we had to: * Change all windows in the house, * Fix the rotten foundation, * Do all carpenter's work that was very much needed, * Install rain gutters, * Paint the house And then * Put the roof on, almost like a crown on the princess.... Another reason, I had thought, if the roof was done last, painters and window installers will not walk on the brand new roof and will not damage it... Guess what?! After all the hard work had been done and over $50,000 spent for outside renovation, we finally invited the well-known Peterson Dean roofing company to: * Splash tar all over freshly painted walls, just installed expensive windows and a $500 each new screen door! * Make deep scratches on multiple brand new windows and new screen doors with items falling from the roof! * Bend with the ladders and somehow puncture newly installed metal rain gutters! * Re-roof at first low level and then drag super heavy boxes with nails and shingles on freshly installed roof to work on the SECOND LEVEL!! (Total Crash for my idea to avoid extra walking by painters and window installers) * "Sprinkle" hundreds of dangerous sharp nails all over our property. When we tried to contact Customer Service to stop this abuse and absurd conduct we got only an answering system and calls were not being returned. In addition, Petersen Dean to save money sent only ONE WORKER to do the entire roofing job! And that worker could not speak English!! Not even a little. We have addressed to him our huge concerns about the damages he's making and received no consideration but a lot of attitude! He pretended not to be able to understand. We should have sent him away until they contacted us. One more fact. Our neighbor across the street hired them as well. So they "forgot" to re-roof one big section of the roof and never returned to finish it. It was a huge mistake to hire Petersen Dean to replace our roof! We are NOT recommending this company. Stressful and disappointing. Waste of money!

They did vc a terrible job on my roof. After calling them back to fix errors mistakes I can't list…read morethem all. Unfortunately I didn't know that they failed to put roofing material on my lean to shed attached to the house, like I was promised. All that was done was black tar paper, no shingles. They will make all sorts of promises then forget after you sign the papers. If you back out they keep your $1000 down payment. I wonder if my warranty will be honored I just hope the roof lasts
