Having a home in Tahoe nearly always means that you had some "Mickey mouse" work done around your house at one point or another. Our electrical shorted and shut down power to our heater during cold temps. Artic dispatched Jon who got the heater back up and running. Jon was extremely knowledgeable and without being pushy provided solid recommendations to avoid future issues. read more

Highly recommend Arctic Electricians. They did a phenomenal job installing some critical electrical EV components and chargers. Super professional and very detailed-oriented and organized. Phenomenal work! Phenomenal people too read more

Artic was great. We got a spa and need it hooked up. They couldn't have been any better!

Arctic Electricians is an incredible company. Extremely friendly crew, staff and very professional with us. They are honest and kept us updated on every step towards completion of the work. Top notch work in the area, in our opinion. We look forward to doing business with them on our next project!!! Thank you Steve Price read more

Had them come out to install two fans. This is a one person job but two were sent. I asked why and was told the next job needed two people. One guy did all the work. The helper stood there against the wall for an hour and a half, and picked up the empty boxes and took them to the truck. The electrician was verbally telling the helper what he was doing throughout the installation. So we get charged for two electricians for the full time. Not right but the owner did adjust the bill so two stars instead of one. What is it about Lake Tahoe and contractors taking advantage - because they can!And be sure to ask them not to pocket your good switches, dimmers and multi-port wire connectors. I had to ask for them back and got them! read more

It is extremely hard to get them to return phone calls on follow up jobs! Watch out for the travel time expense. They charge $130 per hour so if you are a half an hour away from their office, then you get charged $130 just for them driving. I got charged $1.5 hours for a job that only took 40-45 mins plus the parts and this was the follow up visit to a $1000 job that needed the fan replaced. read more

They charged me 10 1/2 hours labor for a very straightforward installation of four outlets. I complained and they were not workable. read more

We needed a chandelier installed in our foyer. We were so impressed with each employee's professionalism and attention to detail, that we then had them install all new exterior lighting on the house. It's hard to find master craftsmanship in such a small town. Extremely happy to have found it with Arctic. Highly recommend! read more

I could not get any Yelp top four electricians to commit to a date two weeks out to schedule an appointment. I notice my neighbor had used ArcTic Electric for their new construction project. I called them up and spoke with Chris and he was able to schedule me a few days out. I had three ceiling fans to install and the two team members from ArcTic could not have more helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I have since called back ArcTic to change our plugs and electrical switches and had a very similar experience as my previous one. Give ArcTic a call, I think you will be glad you did. read more

This isn't a review of the Company or it's work. I own a home in Reno and needed work done. Beware if your property is in Reno, the company charges 'travel time' from Stateline. I was quoted 3 hours round trip x 2 technicians x $150 per hour. So, unless $450 ++ extra is included in your budget, don't call Arctic Electricians. read more

The service was excellent from the very first phone call I made to Arctic! They were timely and professional, and I am so happy with the work that they did. I will definitely be calling them for additional projects! read more

Chris and his team provided outstanding service from start to finish during our home remodel. All of their technicians were efficient, knowledgeable, punctual, honest and a genuine pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Arctic Electricians for any/all electrical needs! read more

Very professional! Thanks to Nick and Jay, we had 2 fixtures changed and added a fan to my bedroom, connected vent hood and switched out all outlets in the kitchen. It was an all day job but they were so efficient and helpful. Did I mention timely? They arrived on the day and time promised and completed the job, hard to find in Tahoe. read more

Fabulous company offering well priced and qualified work to us in Tahoe. They are licensed in CA and NV which is awesome. I had Matt Dohnansky come out and route a new cable line (external conduit) to my router. My internet is the speed of light now, thanks Matt!!! These guys are doers and don't just dick off like most electricians. Way to bring your A game. Thanks again! ;) read more

My entire electrical connection was ripped out all the way to the power meter by a snow covered falling 25' tree top. The area was completely snowbound and obscured! They moved me up as an emergency, all the power in SLT was out, and they sent two electricians over. They did an assessment and made up a parts list while contacting the power company to remove the meter so repairs could be made. They eventually contacted the power company directly and got permission to remove the meter themselves on an emergency request then the power company arrived anyway. After one full day of extensive repairs my system was ready to be reconnected. Arctic called the power company on their own and within hours after 3 days I had power. The electrician insisted that I call him at home as soon as everything was back to normal! I was down and out in a sea of outages and Arctic Electricians came to the rescue! read more

Highly knowledgeable and professional staff that you can count on to get the job done right. We have used them for various jobs over the years, some large and some small. Every one of the guys that have handled our jobs has been an absolute pro and has been a pleasure to work with. I am always impressed with the quality of work. It is nice to know that I can rely on Arctic for any electrical projects that may come up. read more

Great service and great technicians! We had Arctic Electricians install a whole house generator and a new electrical panel, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the services they provided. The technicians were on time, very polite, explained everything thoroughly, and checked and double checked every piece of equipment. We would definitely recommend them again! read more

Honest Professional well schooled in their craft. We were staying in our cabin when the power went out against one wall and the bathroom. They arrived on time and solved our problem. We only had a few days left on vacation but our worries were left behind because of the fantastic interaction with Steve. Arctic was a great value and I recommend them highly. read more

These guys are the best of the best. Arctic replaced our under cabinet lighting and some other miscellaneous work. By far the best electrical in town in my opinion. read more

This is an amazing company full of people who really take pride in what they do! I have had bad experiences with other companies who seem like they want to take shortcuts and just get the job done. When it comes to electrical work, you need to have someone who knows what they are doing and who is going to do it the right way, and the safe way!! I know the owner of this company takes safety very seriously and goes above and beyond what the code is. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do electrical work on my house! read more

I would recommend Arctic Electricians for any job - from a small issue to a full home remodel. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and offers options for all smart home features and upgrades. The girls that run the office are the friendliest, most helpful, and informative that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The job was quoted fairly and quickly, and the workers showed up every day on time and were productive, efficient, and neat. The project was completed exceptionally and in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor and use Arctic Electricians - you won't regret it! read more

Local business trying to hire a local business to do a simple job...moving a sign to a different spot. Which wires and everything is already there. Gave him a called because one of my customer told me his great. But. He was just being a straight asshole. And said no. Because it's going to take 4 hours to do and 2 guys. More than $800 dollar to do. Are you kidding me? To move an existing sign to where a sign use to be. An hour job. Thanks for making my day bad. read more

3 starts because I cannot review their work, only the lack of professionalism since they never replied to any of my calls.

Use these electricians all the time the trucks always has what is need for them to finish the job the first time. There always on time and get the job done read more

We had power go out in four rooms in a house after plugging in a power tool outside. Checked the circuit breakers and power was still flowing through. We called Arctic, spoke to Chris, described the problem, and he diagnosed the issue over the phone, directed us to the specific outlet that had been tripped (entirely different location than where the power tool was), and told us how to fix it. So, he restored the power to the house in 5 to 10 minutes, remotely, no cost, and very polite and friendly. Awesome! read more

We had an awesome experience with Chuck and Chris from Arctic Electricians! We have an old cabin in SLT that needed some electrical upgrades to accommodate GFI. Chuck came out that same day to get temporary power back to our kitchen and Chris followed up the next morning to finish the job. Great service, professional, and very reasonable prices. read more

I used Arctic Electric years ago and loved them. They underbid the 2 other bids I had (1800 vs 800) and they did all of the same work for 525. Recently, I asked them by for estimates on a couple of jobs and the electrician they sent says he was there for 2 hours ($200) and I still don't have estimates for the 2 jobs I asked about. The first one was looking at outdoor plugs and I was told that there wasn't any wiring in there and that the conduit was made of landscaping pvc, making it totally useless. The second job was looking at the stove hood to see about installing a plug or whatever so I could install an over the range microwave. We didn't complete the removal of the range hood as I didn't have a microwave to install anyway. He did go upstairs and replace a bad switch on the ceiling fan and I supplied the switch. All of this for $200. I do not recommend them unless you have a clear understanding of the charges and the time it takes to do the estimates. I did send this information with the payment and have not heard back from them nor do i expect to. So, NO ESTIMATE for work needed and CHARGED 200 for the pleasure, NOT. read more
