Given the holiday weekend the technician didn't know if he could get to make a service call. He in turn called Alert Alarm Systems Owner Victor who made the service call today and between himself and his technician Rob who directed him via phone, they resolved the problem and ran tests to make sure the system worked properly. We used to have ADT years ago and loved it. I should have known by the first Contact that I made…read morewith ADT that service had changed a lot. The first quote I was given, was over the phone and inaccurate so a sales manager came over to the house and gave me a quote for Wi-Fi cameras. He said I needed several wi-fi boosters for the cameras so he included it in the estimate. The first installer who came over to the house installed the cameras but he installed the boosters incorrectly. He also gave two boosters instead of all the other boosters because he said we did not need all the boosters. When he left none of the cameras were working correctly so I contacted the sales manager who told me I could contact him at any time and he would be there for me through any challenges. He sent another tech over to see what the issue was. That tech told me that we could only have two boosters tops and that he still could not get the cameras to work correctly. The sales manager told me that he would get back with me in the next day but he did not so I called the main toll-free number to see what I could do for a refund and to have them get the equipment out of my house because it was not working correctly. the lady I spoke to told me that they never should have put those cameras on my house because we have a cinder block house in the cameras do not work correctly on cinder block homes. She said she would contact the company to see if I could get a refund but it was over a week and at this point the only way to get a refund would be because of faulty equipment not working in the house. Mind you the local team here knew that my equipment had not worked from day one. Long story short I have had three technicians come over to the house to try to fix the issues. I have had the equipment since December and it's mid-January now. I wasted several hours of my life dealing with this company. The sales manager quit responding to any of my texts even after he said he would be there for me no matter what. That was incredibly disappointing to me because I thought I could trust his word. he quit being there for me as soon as he noticed that I would probably get a refund on my money and he would not make that sale as my hypothesis. The district manager, Adam knew all of the issues I was having and he was supposed to call me yesterday within 20 minutes after the last technician left my house but he never called. I was tired of waiting around and talking to so many different people about this expensive equipment just sitting around not working. I ended up calling the toll free number and they had it approved for them to come out to my house this next week to take back all of their equipment. I hope I get a refund for the money that I invested up front because since day one I've had nothing but problems, wasted time, missed work and a lot of stress on hold with many different representatives. EDITED TO ADD: Yesterday, ADT came out to remove the equipment. This morning I woke up to a huge bill on my credit card that I wasn't supposed to get for the equipment. I left a voicemail with the local ADT (this one) twice and am hoping someone calls me back. I'm really sad about this situation. Very disappointed considering I gave them so many chances to fix the issues. EDITED TO ADD: The service manager returned my text this morning and said he will work with the manager to make sure my charges are refunded... Stay tuned.

One to install a 75" TV on a mount and hiding the wires behind the wall and to mount my 2 Sonos speakers in corners of our house. He came back a few days later to install a Sonos sound bar. Here's an example how he's good and thinks out of the box. I bought the suggested Sonos sound bar mount but he suggested using his since the sound bar can move with the TV once we swivel it. If he used the Sonos mount, it was stay on the wall. He also suggested using the supplied HDMI cord Sonos supplied versus the 3rd party I got from Amazon.
