I've been trying to cancel my service for three months now. Every time I call in, I get bounced around and no one seems to be able to actually have the power to cancel it for me. The process is to cancel by email, but when I do this, I'm charge again the next month. Your executive board needs to do something about this process (or lack thereof). It's ridiculous that the service can't be canceled with a phone call. I've disputed the charges, but I'm tired of dealing with you all. Cancel my service and let me be on my way! read more

Been looking for a home security system. This one is out of the running. We have this for our office and it's terrible. Always something wrong with it. Then they charge us a service fee for them to come fix the "glitches". Pretty cool tech, but I want something that doesn't need constant service. read more

I have been a customer since 2003 when I bought the house. I only pay $16.95 monthly because I own the equipment and I only need monitoring service. Last Oct, after I installed new hurricane proof windows for the house, I called Alert 360 to check on my system as I am getting ready to sell the house. The sales guy came in and tell me that my system is out of date, and that I should upgrade to a new system. I told him I cannot have any contracts as I am in the middle of selling my house. The guy convinced me that the new system will enhance the value of the house, and if I purchase all the equipment and own it, there will be no long term contract. I can cancel anytime. I end up paying $409 for new equipment and my monthly charges are now up at $34.95. Of course I did not read the fine prints in all 14 pages of contracts. I trusted the guy and only follow his instruction on where to sign on his small tablets. When my house is finally sold last month (Oct 2019), the new buyer has no interests in getting service from Alert 360. I called Alert 360 to cancel my service and schedule them to come take down the security system. They then proceed to tell me that I still owe them ~$1200 as I have signed a 3 years contract, which I was unaware of. They also said they will not come and take down the system, even though I already paid for those equipment. If I insist on taking down the system, then I owed them like another $350 to take it down, plus they let me know in advance that they are not responsible for any damage on my wall, and I still owed them the contractual amount of $1200. They said I can transfer my account to my boyfriend's house (which I don't own) for a fee, and of course, my boyfriend is not interested in the system either. So yes, Alert 360's consultant/sales guy had defrauded me by signing me up for a 3 years contract when I made it very clear that I am selling my house and can only go month to month. I have been on month to month basis for the last 15 years with Alert 360. Why would it make sense for me to sign a 3 years contract when I am in the middle of getting my house ready for sale? And of course the management do not care to make things right. They are probably laughing and say serve me right for not reading those 14 pages of contract they make you sign. read more

Always great service. On occasion it take a while to get an appointment. All in all I am happy with the service.

Had camera system upgraded to 1080p cameras and quality controls. The in office person James Wagner was so knowledgeable and personable. It was a delight dealing with him. Every question I asked he had an answer for. He knows his product like the back if his hand. Always answers the phone. Now the tech that did the removal of old equipment and installed the new, Ryan Lemons, did his work like he was working on his own house. Everything he touched was a perfect installation. He would ask as he went along if I was satisfied so far. I felt like my son was doing the work. After it was completely done he explained how it worked and made sure the cameras were aimed where I wanted them in my store. The bottom line is because of these two guys I am so glad I have my security and camera system with Alert 360 in Sarasota. Thanks for the ultimate customer care!!!! read more

First, Ryan, the local technician was GREAT. He was prompt, courteous, friendly. He listened, problem solved, and quickly corrected our issue. That's the good news. The call center was obnoxious, disinterested, rude, talked over me, and tried to tell me the first available appointment was over a week. When I said I couldn't leave my home unarmed that long, he called the local office to see if they could get someone today. He said if they couldn't find someone today, I had to wait over a week, that on none of the following days would there be anyone available, unless I wanted to PAY for an emergency visit. Fortunately, the local office came through. While I waited on the phone with the call center (15 minutes), I told him I have been an EMG customer for 14+ years, with 3 houses and one business and never had this kind of customer service while it was managed locally. I told him I would have to consider going elsewhere and he wasn't concerned. You have a problem with your call center and it WILL drive your customers elsewhere. read more

Had this new system put several weeks ago it's has been working great . On 1/2/22 the smoke alarm went off during cooking of dinner. 360 called aright away and cleared the alarm but the light wouldn't go out. I called the Tec in Oklahoma and he couldn't clear the light either but did say i still could use the alarm , he said that it need to be a service call , I said fine. But he set the call up for 1/20/22 soonest he had ,.Really 3 weeks ,glad i didnt have too many plan's. read more

Horrible service from account reps all the way to supervisors. I spoke with this company several times to cancel our service (or actually lack thereof any service) a month after our contract expired and they never did it. They continued to send invoices and adding late fees. Talked to several reps, supervisors, all refused to resolve the concern by saying we never heard from you or you didn't send us the right wording in your email, always some excuse. I made one last attempt to resolve and sent then a 'new' form they now required to cancel and still received letters saying we owed them- even after I had an email confirmation they received my cancellation request. Now they turned the late fees they say I owe because of the cancellation over to collections. Next step for us is to file harassment charges. So done with this company! read more
