Carl has done our AV upgrades for years now. We recently moved and Carl handled all my electronics projects - security system, hanging TVs, surround sound... all of the things. I'm so thankful to have him as a resource. He is always on time, extremely thorough, very careful and tidy, and knows his stuff. He's super honest and straightforward- I've wanted to buy items that he talked me out of if they are redundant or not necessary, saving me money. And he's just a really nice guy. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Carl is amazing! Plain and simple. The guy gets it done! He comes in a van full of supplies and get the job done. He came by for two service calls. One to install a 75" TV on a mount and hiding the wires behind the wall and to mount my 2 Sonos speakers in corners of our house. He came back a few days later to install a Sonos sound bar. Here's an example how he's good and thinks out of the box. I bought the suggested Sonos sound bar mount but he suggested using his since the sound bar can move with the TV once we swivel it. If he used the Sonos mount, it was stay on the wall. He also suggested using the supplied HDMI cord Sonos supplied versus the 3rd party I got from Amazon. He's amazing, efficient and I hope we can use him in the future! Thanks Carl! read more

Great service. I would call again if I needed another TV hung in our place. He was a nice guy, and did a great job. Hid the wires behind our wall and was quick putting together the mount we bought from Amazon and installing that with the TV and showing us how to use it. read more

Carl and Ryan were prompt, professional and we shared a few laughs. (Alexa, use the microwave girlfriends and wives eye roll here) so, I needed an 85 inch Vizio wall mounted and needed both an extending arm and 9ft HDMI cabling, both of which Carl had on hand. From centering, mounting and testing TV it took a lil bit over an hour. Lucky they had the extra items on hand. Can't recommend these guys enough. Please see my photos and video of their work below. read more

I have to say that Carl, the owner of Audio Video FL, is the real deal. If you are in the market for this kind of service, look nowhere else. After working out the particulars on the phone, he arrived at our agreed upon day & time, wearing a mask, and immediately prepared for the install like a Doctor before surgery. He loaded up his tool belt: tape measure, level, stud finder, marking tool, power drill, attached his forehead lamp light, deployed his standing platform and went to work. I needed twin 40" LCD's installed over my existing 60" TV. He helped me move/unplug what was in his way to start, and when finished, helped me plug/put everything back. Not only did Carl vacuum up after himself with his own wet/dry vac when finished, he wiped down all three TV's with this amazing screen cleaner that made my 60" look new. He tested the TV's connections, synced them to my Wi-Fi, downloaded updates to them, helped me download the phone app associated with the new TV's to my cell phone and then showed me how to use the app!... I mean, really? Superior service, skills and knowledge. My new sports viewing setup looks amazing, perfectly symmetrical, and I couldn't be happier! read more

I used Carl about 2 years ago when we moved into our new home in Gulfport, Fl. It was time for a few upgrades. I called Carl and as usual within an hour he responded with a few dates for me to select. He texted with me an made sure he knew what was awaiting. He arrived 15 minutes early (as he usually does) & walked through all the items needing replacing and upgrading. He offered suggestions that we did not think of, made sure we were happy and as has become his custom, left us by saying "if you need anything, or have any questions, just call". I am a raving fan of Carl and Audio Video FL. read more

Take the stress out of moving your wall mounted flat screen television & text this company. You can call & leave a message but the voicemail message gives you the option of texting also. This allowed me to provide all the information on my television & sound bar, where I lived & was moving to & the date of the move. Carl was able to schedule me with short notice. He arrived on time with the knowledge, experience, training & tools to get the job done quickly & perfectly. His professionalism, friendliness & kindness made the entire experience a joy. He has pride in his work & strives to fulfill your expectations & take the finished product to his professional level. Carl drilled holes in the back of my cabinet to allow air circulation & allow access for the multiple cords so they were hidden from sight. His installation was much better than the original installation done at my other apartment by Best Buy Home Theater professionals. read more

be warned that as of today this one company person is not an honorable company. he wrote us an initial quote (& owning my own company understand how sometimes quotes can change), but since we stopped having him repeatedly charge us for the same "diagnosis" work on a system he set up initially with no resolve, & repeatedly "diagnosing" the same issues on speakers I said to him were not working that he claimed "by his ear" are working fine, Well I (in my disabled health, finally frustrated & still not believing he was nothing more than lazy to actually climb the ladder or even enter the attic area to follow up on the work he initial installed for the previous home owner. The AVF tech/owner even shared with me that he was curious as to why the original owner never finished the contract they had. After seeing his very sad unprofessional billing (Repeat billing for same repeat work with no resolve, yet fine with repeat billing taking advantage of my retired & physically disabled parents, just really is sad & scared there are few honorable business men that actually respect & just see our elderly as an avenue for them to gain. Still here at there home are outdoor speaker wires he did nor secure professionally & inside work he claimed was faulty, yet I discovered my own, He never obviously even removed the existing speaker for what I would figure would be the first step. If a car does not move, start or turn over, might your first step to be looking if the gas tank is empty or seeing if the battery in good/connected. This Magian couldn't evened that, but looking thru the charged invoices, he could charge repeat charges as well as not follow a simple shelf install that was part of one of the bedroom installs (his mistake with no credit given toward any other house install he was hired for, & never a follow up to add a star to his failed master work. Find another tech, one who has business ethics & honor. Carl Gran, What a non follow thru thief, or he actually arrives one day to fix his mistakes & actually goes up in the attic area & remove speakers to find a fix, instead of just arriving half way in the day & accomplishing nothing but charging for his failure to find solution, but he will happily still charge you for his time NOT solving the same problem several days in a row. Its pretty basic, follow the electricity, & just maybe first check & be sure the red & black wires are actually connected before you charge a second & 3rd time with same results. would give a zero if there was a way because as of today handicapped/elderly - 0 & Carl Gran of Audio Video FL +$4000 Sad read more

Carl recommended to me by Dave Arnold, our long outstanding computer tech. Carl worked us promptly into his busy schedule, quickly diagnosed the problem, located a replacement system control, ordered it right then. A week or so later, he called, said it had arrived and he could install the next day. Called early for install, arrived shortly, set up fully and even made operation thereof easily understood by us old folks. No surprises about cost either. OUTSTANDING SERVICE! read more
