Carl is amazing! Plain and simple. The guy gets it done! He comes in a van full of supplies and get the job done. He came by for two service calls. One to install a 75" TV on a mount and hiding the wires behind the wall and to mount my 2 Sonos speakers in corners of our house. He came back a few days later to install a Sonos sound bar. Here's an example how he's good and thinks out of the box. I bought the suggested Sonos sound bar mount but he suggested using his since the sound bar can move with the TV once we swivel it. If he used the Sonos mount, it was stay on the wall. He also suggested using the supplied HDMI cord Sonos supplied versus the 3rd party I got from Amazon. (Alexa, use the microwave girlfriends and wives eye roll here) so, I needed an 85 inch Vizio wall mounted and needed both an extending arm and 9ft HDMI cabling, both of which Carl had on hand. I have to say that Carl, the owner of Audio Video FL, is the real deal. If you are in the market for this kind of service, look nowhere else. After working out the particulars on the phone, he arrived at our agreed upon day & time, wearing a mask, and immediately prepared for the install like a Doctor before surgery. He loaded up his tool belt: tape measure, level, stud finder, marking tool, power drill, attached his forehead lamp light, deployed his standing platform and went to work. I needed twin 40" LCD's installed over my existing 60" TV. He helped me move/unplug what was in his way to start, and when finished, helped me plug/put everything back. Not only did Carl vacuum up after himself with his own wet/dry vac when finished, he wiped down all three TV's with this amazing screen cleaner that made my 60" look new. He tested the TV's connections, synced them to my Wi-Fi, downloaded updates to them, helped me download the phone app associated with the new TV's to my cell phone and then showed me how to use the app!... be warned that as of today this one company person is not an honorable company. he wrote us an initial quote (& owning my own company understand how sometimes quotes can change), but since we stopped having him repeatedly charge us for the same "diagnosis" work on a system he set up initially with no resolve, & repeatedly "diagnosing" the same issues on speakers I said to him were not working that he claimed "by his ear" are working fine, Well I (in my disabled health, finally frustrated & still not believing he was nothing more than lazy to actually climb the ladder or even enter the attic area to follow up on the work he initial installed for the previous home owner. The AVF tech/owner even shared with me that he was curious as to why the original owner never finished the contract they had. After seeing his very sad unprofessional billing (Repeat billing for same repeat work with no resolve, yet fine with repeat billing taking advantage of my retired & physically disabled parents, just really is sad & scared there are few honorable business men that actually respect & just see our elderly as an avenue for them to gain. Still here at there home are outdoor speaker wires he did nor secure professionally & inside work he claimed was faulty, yet I discovered my own, He never obviously even removed the existing speaker for what I would figure would be the first step. If a car does not move, start or turn over, might your first step to be looking if the gas tank is empty or seeing if the battery in good/connected. This Magian couldn't evened that, but looking thru the charged invoices, he could charge repeat charges as well as not follow a simple shelf install that was part of one of the bedroom installs (his mistake with no credit given toward any other house install he was hired for, & never a follow up to add a star to his failed master work. Find another tech, one who has business ethics & honor. Carl Gran, What a non follow thru thief, or he actually arrives one day to fix his mistakes & actually goes up in the attic area & remove speakers to find a fix, instead of just arriving half way in the day & accomplishing nothing but charging for his failure to find solution, but he will happily still charge you for his time NOT solving the same problem several days in a row.
