You and him agree on a price - you ask him for more pictures and the inspection- then tells you "car is on a test drive - then next .... oh wait someone is going to take the car today" SHADY? and trying to change the deal or get more money out of me i can already feel it. Pictures to prove it!!! Look at the timestamps! TERRIBLE! Even though you agreed on price and told him you'll send in a deposit. The games dont stop - its fun for them miserable for you as a customer. I was an out of state customer treated him like a gentleman but WAY TO MANY GAMES!!! I am writing this review regarding my 2024 BMW 740, and this has been the worst vehicle experience I have ever had. This car has had repeated mechanical and electrical failures, including defective ball joints, axle problems, AC malfunctions, coolant system issues, transmission lag and slipping, and constant tire damage. I have replaced six tires in less than two years at over $585 each. Apple CarPlay works intermittently and constantly cuts in and out. Several buttons do not respond properly. The passenger side speaker already failed and required replacement after a five week wait, and now the rear speaker is also failing. Even the subwoofer cannot handle normal music volume, making the sound system essentially unusable. The alignment was affected by defective suspension components. Although those parts were covered under warranty, the dealership refused to cover the alignment, even after a sales associate said it would be handled. Each visit ends with them claiming they cannot duplicate the problem, even when video evidence is provided, and the vehicle is returned without being repaired. The car performs poorly in high wind conditions and feels unstable, as if it is being pushed across lanes. The doors are extremely lightweight and feel poorly constructed, giving the impression the vehicle is made of plastic or fiberglass. This does not reflect the build quality expected of a luxury sedan. The leather seats are cracking, including the driver's seat, despite the vehicle having an MSRP of approximately $96,000. I previously owned seven Mercedes Benz vehicles and never experienced leather failure like this. I chose the BMW 740 because it was slightly cheaper than the Mercedes S Class, and that decision has been a major regret. The brakes have squeaked since the vehicle had less than 2,000 miles. Two independent repair shops confirmed the noise is caused by the brake components themselves. BMW requires replacing both pads and rotors together, yet considers the squeaking normal. Loud brakes on a nearly new luxury vehicle are unacceptable and embarrassing. My first repair occurred at about 3,000 miles when the air conditioning blew hot air during the summer. I have returned repeatedly for AC and cooling issues, and the transmission is now lagging, pulling, and slipping. The vehicle has depreciated significantly, dropping from an MSRP of $96,000 to approximately $46,000 in less than two years, a loss of about $50,000 in value. I am currently in court because neither BMW North America nor the Alpharetta BMW dealership will take responsibility. Sales and service departments deflect blame and deny accountability. Publicly they claim their vehicles are excellent, but behind the scenes they are aware of the defects. I have owned this car for nearly two years and remained patient, but enough is enough. To make matters worse, I am paying $1,535 per month for this vehicle. The stress has become overwhelming, and I feel emotional every time I drive it because there is always something else wrong. I referred my grandmother to BMW after purchasing my car, and she bought an X3 and began having issues almost immediately, which points to broader quality problems. Additionally, both my grandmother and I were sold vehicles represented as having about 17 miles, when both actually had over 800 miles. This was only discovered through the BMW app. Buyers should verify mileage before purchasing from the Alpharetta location. My title and registration were also sent to the wrong address. My lease ends in March 2027, and I cannot wait to be done with this vehicle, either through lease end or a successful court outcome. I am grateful I leased instead of purchased. BMW corporate refuses to take accountability, and the dealership does not stand behind its product. I am sharing this experience to be transparent. Please buy at your own discretion. I would strongly caution anyone considering United BMW's service department. I've now had multiple visits where I was told I needed new tires due to nails or damage only for this exact same issue to happen again in a very similar way. After being charged more than once for what feels like the same problem, it raises serious red flags about what's actually going on. On top of that, there is a clear pattern of upselling and pressure tactics. I've been told my car "urgently" needed additional services that did not feel necessary and the way it's presented is clearly designed to create panic so you approve expensive work on the spot. As a customer, this feels less like honest service and more like being taken advantage of. I would especially warn women or anyone who may not feel confident pushing back because the pressure is real, and it's uncomfortable. At this point, I do not trust their recommendations and will be seeking second opinions moving forward. I would strongly encourage others to do the same before agreeing to any costly repairs. read more

I made an online inquiry today about a vehicle on their lot and received a call from Aidan (sp?) regarding my questions. I missed his call but he left a voicemail, and I returned it--providing the specific car I was interested in and asking for the out-the-door price. I then booked a 7 PM appointment through their AI scheduling system. I drove 1 hour and 25 minutes to get there. When we arrived, an individual at the front informed us they would let Aidan know we were there. We waited 20 minutes with no updates. Then I received a call from Aidan asking if we had arrived, which made it clear he had not been told we were waiting. He also informed me that the car I came to see wasn't available. There was absolutely no communication beforehand--no call, text, or email--to let us know the vehicle was unavailable. We were prepared to make a full cash offer, but the lack of organization and customer service was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership and will not be returning. This sale obviously wasn't important to them, but it was important to us. read more

I parked in front of the main doors and then spent about 15 minutes walking the lot and then checking out the vehicles in the showroom. I was taking pictures, opening doors, and even got in two of the vehicles. Not once was I approached by anyone to see if I had any questions or if someone could help me. I should add that it was a Wednesday afternoon at 1:30pm and there were hardly any customers in the showroom and plenty of salesman standing around talking to each other. I went in on Feb 22 and traded in a vehicle and bought a pre-owned 2018 540i with 62k miles that they were selling. I worked with Ryan and Daniel and the entire process was smooth. Unfortunately, that's where the good things stopped. There's an issue with getting a plate for the vehicle with being told one thing from the DMV and another from United BMW, to which I won't place on United BMW. I was told the vehicle was good to go and nothing was wrong, or needed any attention. Fast forward to last week and less than a month after I bought the car, it overheated to which I parked it and haven't moved it since. I took it to an auto shop that specializes in BMW to be told that the radiator, both upper and lower hoses, and the water pumps were all leaking and needed to be replaced. I figured with me being in the car for barely a month that United BMW would want to help me, but I was met with a brick wall that said "Did you go with our extended warranty?" Now I'm left with a $3k bill to fix things that I was told were in good, working order a month ago. I really thought this was a upstanding dealership that I could trust and was planning on using them for a M2 purchase to go along with my promotion, but this situation has left a sour taste. Wouldn't in good conscience recommend them when they see you as just a wallet rather than a potential lifelong customer. read more

Our salesman was incredibly slow to respond to messages- we were the ones to follow up 90% of the time. Repeatedly requesting "where are we?", "do you have an answer for us?' etc...Once our offer was finally accepted, took more than 24 hrs. to follow up. Then, here's the best part....5 days AFTER our offer was received, we get a call, "oops, sorry, the car sold just before you put your offer in". Follow up with the sales manager and a promise "to find you a car" resulted in NO FOLLOW UP. Call with the the head of sales and a promise to "find you a car" and 2 days later....no call. My 2021 X7 M50i had the transfer case replaced 11 months ago and it appeared the issue was back, but now comes with a scraping sound when I accelerate. I took my vehicle back to the service department and was told the issues are not related and was quoted over $22,000 in repairs. My vehicle has been out of warranty for 2 months and only has 44,000 miles on it. For it to require such extensive repairs is beyond me and I question if these repairs would've even been suggested/completed had I still been under warranty. I also never received a quote from the service advisor for the repairs, only the video from the technician (sent at 3:50pm), so I had to call back this morning to get the estimate. My service advisor is out sick, which is totally fine and I have no issue working with another advisor. However, when the other advisor called me back and started relaying the extensive repairs that were recommended, I stopped him once he reached the $20K mark. He jokingly said something along the lines of "I guess you aren't wanting to invest $20K in repairs, huh?". I brushed his comment off, but I found it incredibly unprofessional and insulting as if I should have no issue swiping my credit card for such a large sum of money. BMW used to pride themselves on the quality of their vehicles and service, but clearly those days are long gone. A vehicle with such few miles that is properly maintained and driven responsibly should not require over $22,000 in service. read more

Purchased a pre-owned vehicle at this dealership in January. Told them we did not want the Flexprotect Service that they add to all of their pre-owned invoices (don't know about whether it's also on new). We knew we wanted the car and otherwise didn't negotiate price -- had driven almost 4 hours to get there to buy it and were anxious to get back on the road. Salesman said they "couldn't take it off" because they'd paid their techs to install the hardware, and would have to pay them again to take it off. Fine. Not thrilled, but it wasn't worth killing the purchase to argue. Finance rep provided information necessary to register the vehicle with the tracking service, and completed that process upon arrival home with our new (to us) car. Literally 7 months later, we received a UPS shipment from Flexprotect which contained the actual hardware which 1) was never installed on the car and 2) we had paid for more than half a year earlier (notably absent from the "we owe" form that the dealership provided as part of the sale). This service is a time-limited subscription which we paid for in January and actually didn't get to start using until August. Ridiculous and dishonest handling! read more

This place is absolute trash and morally bankrupt. My wife and I were in there on Saturday looking at a 2017 highlander. We couldn't settle on a price and left. They contacted us Monday and we continued to discuss. Eventually agreeing on a price. I informed them I couldn't get there until after 7. We even filed the financing paper work. They told me they would get it out and have it clean when I got there. I drove for 2 hours only to be called when I was 10 minutes away to inform me someone else was looking at it. I arrived and sat at a desk while these people still looked at the car. They had not even come inside to discuss price yet. I sat there for 40 minutes holding my offer paper with them having my credit information and watched them sell it to another family right in front of me. I literally had the pen in my hand to sign paperwork before they even received an offer. This place has no morals and will sacrifice customers for greed. I'm sure they got a little more out of the deal while keeping me as a back up. I hope this review helps people know what snakes they are dealing with and some people walk away and avoid this place. read more

Before coming to United BMW, I called and verified that the vehicle was available, only to get there, and the vehicles entire console was missing. No way that the vehicle should even be listed for sale. Aidan was the gentleman assisting me and the one who advised me to come in. Once we realized that the console was missing, I asked if I could be ordered an Uber back to the BMW dealership I was at prior to coming there. Because had I known, I would've never come. Unfortunately, Aidan disappeared after me and my elderly mother asked to speak with a manager. This would have been my 4th BMW purchase in the last ten years. The Sales Person, Bradley was not very engaging at first and almost lost me as a customer, but he later changed his approach and did everything he could to satisfy me, including scheduling my follow-ups. The Sales Manager, Kahlil was very courteous and helpful and engaging. Gianni, the Financial Manager, was very nice, exceptionally clever and quick in completing the paperwork. Very Disappointed!! This is the first review I've left on anything, ever, but I feel the need to share my experience. Test drove a 2018 M550i on Friday, 10/6, and worked a deal with a salesman over the weekend. Confirmed the car was still available on Monday, 10/9 at 9am, and locked in a deal. Told my sales guy that I'd be there today (10/9) at 12:30-1pm, and I showed up at 1:15 (in the middle of a busy workday) to find another couple test driving the car I was there to purchase. I was told because they were there just minutes before me that they had first right of refusal - per their policy. My wife and kids were on the way with the car we were trading-in, excited to ride home in our new car. The other couple ended up purchasing the vehicle. We're incredibly disappointed and feel like this is a huge integrity issue that should've never happened. Calling All BMW owners...I'm so excited that I was Blessed enough to decline United BMW Dealership's overbooked wait and overpricing only to see Alex Auto Inc almost across the street in Roswell, Ga. Alex, the owner greeted us immediately made availability to repair my car on the spot, Eric at United BMW quoted me $300 to repair my low-beam bulb, even after confirming BMW of Kansas had only charged me $80 for the same repair on my 2015 328i he maintained $300 (not to mention I've purchased 2 brand new BMW's from United) to include several hours wait, fortunately for me I didn't have the time to waste, upon exiting BMW, Alex Auto Inc was almost across the street and I not only saved massive time but I also saved a tremendous amount of money. Alex was not only Kind, Trust-worthy, Professional, Courteous and Quick but he was Extremely Fair, he charged me less than $60 for my entire repair. His staff of mechanics are also extremely reliable, trustworthy and personable. If you're in the market for a Phenomenal repair shop, please do yourself a favor and see and experience what Alex Auto Inc and his staff can offer. UNITED BMW is a SHAM.. do NOT patronize this location. This place is sold me a 2018 330i basic but supposedly good car that's ended up be a piece of crap. Had 3 repairs in less than 2 months.. 1. Replaced Tire $400 2. Front Break, pads, etc $900 3. Evaporative Emissions System Leak $500 Asked repeatedly about whether car was up to code and if anything was wrong. Repeatedly got "the car is perfect.. nothing wrong.. etc.. but never produced actual paperwork. Not to mention they sold me the car WITHOUT current emissions tests calling me 5 days after purchase (to go get this completed). Shon W.. my salesman is wholly non chalant about the issues and promising to not "leave me hanging" but has LEFT ME HANGING. Repeated calls/texts are getting me no where.
