Extremely Disappointed with Service Transparency and Follow-Up I've been an Acura customer for years and have always associated the brand with reliability and integrity -- unfortunately, my recent experience with Jackson Acura's service department has completely changed that. After extensive structural repairs were performed on my vehicle involving the crossmember and subframe seam areas, I began requesting documentation and clarification to ensure the work was done according to Acura's OEM standards. I made these requests verbally, in person, and multiple times in writing since October 2nd -- yet the service manager Rodney has refused to respond. These were not cosmetic repairs -- they directly affect the safety and structural integrity of the vehicle. As a customer, I have every right to receive complete and transparent information about the work done on my car, especially when it involves the frame and critical safety components. I currently have all the repair orders but have been denied the technician notes, inspection documentation, and written confirmation of OEM compliance, despite repeated, polite, and formal requests. This level of avoidance from management is deeply concerning and does not reflect the level of professionalism or accountability expected from an Acura dealership. I've escalated this issue to Acura Corporate and hope they take this situation seriously -- both for my own vehicle's safety and for the integrity of their brand. He may have sold us a vehicle, but it didn't feel that way at all. I used to work with dealerships as a marketing exec from all over the country spanning all sorts of makes and I can absolutely say that any of those dealerships would envy the culture Mr. Jackson has created. I have been searching for a new Acura for a while. I came across this dealership after several unsuccessful experiences with other Acura dealerships in the surrounding area. My sales representative was Reggie Hammond. He was very responsive and he made sure to give me all of the information up front on the vehicle I wanted. I requested an out the door price for the Acura ADX and he gave it to me with no hesitation! This whole process started back on 10/16/24 when I had my 2020 RDX towed into Acura for a transmission related issue, right from the beginning it took everything to get them on the phone. I did not receive a phone call from Acura regarding them working on my car until 10/23 which is almost a week after it had been dropped off. It started with a transmission warmer and after another week of hearing nothing needed a new transmission. They submitted a warranty claim to Honda which was denied, and explained the cost of the repairs out of pocket, to which I asked if there was any help I could get with cost reduction. In between these exchanges I had reached out to the service manager Rodney Jones a couple different times and left voicemails but never heard back. The adviser actually rolled his eyes and almost scoffed when I told him I had reached out to his manager at the time of pickup. He was the person I intended on speaking with about such reduction in costs but my adviser let me know that he had spoken with Rodney himself and he okayed a 10% discount on a $9,000...which boils down to taxes. So, Acura's district manager of Jackson, the general manager, and the adviser couldn't find a transmission for more than a month which ended up being settled officially on 12/13/24 when they texted me the new transmission was in and would be installed asap. The biggest kicker is when I walked into Acura after waiting for 2 months for my car to be fixed, and was made to feel like an ungrateful human being for asking for more help financially instead of financing on some ridiculous interest rate a reduction in cost would've been nice for my time, but instead I had a loaner car for a month which was only half the time we were waiting and minimal communication. So I should be grateful for that, but the adviser lost his temper when I reminded him that I also was the one who established any kind of communication in the first place and was the one paying the bill, not Acura. To which he asked me are you freaking kidding me? No sir, I'm not I'm paying your busted ass service department $9,000 to sit on my car for 2 months on a job that took you a week total to finish diagnostics, repair and all. He even went as far as slamming his hands down on the desk to establish some kind of relevance to anger. He also managed to accuse me of "messing up my own car," to establish his point. I didn't ask who's fault it was asshole, I asked for your to change the price because it took your company 2 months to find a "common part." To make a long story short, if you plan on spending real money these people don't care. Asking for a bigger discount was the biggest slap in the face to this adviser who was charging me $9,000 for a service that took 2 months to complete. When a service adviser makes a comparison like he had to pay $5k for his new engine and he wasn't happy as a means of leverage over me being unhappy paying $9k for a transmission that took 2 months to replace, I think he might've taken it a little personal. Sir, your engine has nothing to do with my transmission taking 2 months to be finished. Time is money, and if you don't value my time I don't give a shit about your money. Don't let me forget to mention I paid for this without financing a single bit of the parts or labor, I will not be returning to this dealership regardless of who owns or operates it. read more

Until recently I would have called myself a reasonably satisfied customer but now will not consider the Acura or Honda brand for another purchase, ever. In fall 2022 we noticed peeling paint on the roof of my 2014 MDX; ironically a warranty to cover the manufacturer defect expired a few months prior (and we never got the recall notice). After seven months of back and forth between Jackson Acura (our dealer), Acura and Honda, the companies made the decision to NOT honor the warranty and I am stuck with a used car that requires $2000 worth of paint repair FOR THEIR MANUFACTURER DEFECT. So, if you're considering the brand, I highly suggest you beware. And if you're considering the dealership, be warned they will not go to bat for you should you find yourself in a similar predicament. read more

I visited all the Acura dealerships in Atlanta to comparison shop the TLX and immediately knew I wanted to give my business to Jackson Acura b/c they were genuinely interested in my business and trusted me to test drive their car to run errands ... this was a few years ago but since then, I also do all my car maintenance here b/c they give the same high level of service that doesn't compare to the other dealership service centers. Pre-Covid, I always looked forward to their fresh bagels and cream cheese ... while the bagels aren't available during Covid times, they still have complimentary packaged snacks, beverages and Starbucks coffee from the machine. Also a waiting room with TV, private booths, and also cafe tables. If you don't want to stay inside, there's a Sprouts market and Starbucks within easy walking distance. All the staff is super nice and professional - I have a dedicated service advisor Yvonne and she's awesome and I feel like I can trust her advice on whether I need certain things done to my car now, or whether I can wait next time. Prices are reasonable ... well what you'd expect from a dealership service center. Download the Jackson Acura app for coupons - they have a loyalty program too. You can schedule an appointment - or just show up if you need something simple like an oil change. For Covid-times, employees are wearing masks for the most part but not all customers do ... but most do. Everyone does seem to be pretty good at social distancing themselves. When employees are inside your car, they're required to wear masks, they do cover the car seat with plastic, and they keep the windows rolled down for circulation. And yes, they still do the complimentary car wash, and you'll drive away with a sparkling-new looking vehicle :) read more

Buyer beware! Do not get your car serviced here! If there was a zero star option that is what I would rate the service of this dealership. As a woman I feel completely taken advantage of, not listened to and gaslit. I brought my brand new type s mdx (their top of the line suv, $75k) into their service center to honor the Acura warranty. The brakes have a high pitched screeching noise when applying pressure from stopping. I was told by Yvonne our service advisor that 4 people including technicians drove the car and they didn't hear anything. During this time they also had to repair the steering column shaft as that was vibrating. Yvonne stated that there seems to be some issues with that model she has seen from previous customers, but they would handle all the issues. I told Yvonne I would come back and take a ride with her to show her the brake screeching. She said no problem. I arrived and she quickly stated that they only drove it in the parking lot in reverse in slow speeds and there was no noise so there is nothing they could do if they couldn't recreate it. I told her I would like to drive around the block to show her. Within one minute of leaving the service center the screeching happened. Her face turned white and immediately she said we didn't hear that when we did it. I then again stepped on the brakes and she said wow ok yes I can hear that. I drove immediately back to the service center where she called Rodney the service manager. She stated on the phone to him, she heard the noises and was asking him what to do. This was in the presence of myself and my husband. We asked for a loaner and was told no, as there is no issue with the brakes and no resolution. I then opened a case with Acura corporate and was told if the dealership acknowledges the brake screeching Acura could assist. When I reached out to Rodney again, he stated that Yvonne said there was no noise and there was no issue. So not only is Yvonne lying but so is Rodney. How disgusting of a business to take advantage of a women and making me feel crazy and discriminated against, when all I am asking for is them to fix a fully warrantied top of the line vehicle. I take my Acura here often and the service department is pretty good. They will try and match prices too of other dealerships! I don't think they are the cheapest for tires though as I was able to find cheaper tires at Costco but still pretty good experience Lowering the stars as the advisor that used to be there isn't there anymore and the guys now are pretty rude and only care about adding services read more

Poor customer service, lack of understand of current offers, or really just a lack of wanting to honor them. They had advertisements for lease offers on theurwebsite, used toolset calculate a lease payment, and the manager tried to show me how the tool was wrong and tried to sell me a lease that was$200/mo more. Unfortunately the manager didn't realize I have a finance degree, understand the terms and calculated the payments myself based on the offer term in a fraction of the time it took for them to go back in the manager room. This would have been my fourth Acura purchase, will be exploring other, more honest dealers. read more

It's my first service appointment and Brittany was amazing. From the service call being asking thoughtful questions to help diagnose the issue to create a solution my husband knew we would be taken care of. We've always received excellent service from Reggie when we buy cars and its clear from all the thoughtful details in the place that the owner cares about his employees as much as his customers. Everyone is friendly and most importantly respectful with each other. All departments work together which is unique from places that have people who use the "thats not my department" excuse to give you the run around. Who ever you speak with will take ownership of your experience and get you to who you need to see. The place is beautiful clean and has charging docks for every device. Clean and bright office space so bring your laptop! And I was most impressed by the bathroom which was regal marble counters and privacy length doors, seat covers and yes ladies good toilet paper not the flat cheap stuff. There are refreshments and snacks but again its the people and environment that makes me know I'm important and valued. Best of all I'm not being nickel and dimed. They give honest diagnosis you can trust. Ironically, when I mentioned to a friend I was heading there his response was; "Tell Harvey I said hello he is a great person who is fair and its not a surprise he is successful because he cares!" read more

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I leased a 2019 TLX from Reggie in 2018 and had 10,000 miles per year. Several months prior to my lease ending, Reggie put me in a 2021 TLX and had all the paperwork drawn up so when I went in it would basically be a sign and drive. I had 6,000 miles they were going to roll into my new lease. Well, have turned in my lease and now billed almost $1k. When i called into the finance group, was told I only had 7,200 miles/year on the new lease. Here I am thinking I had 36,000 miles for the 3 years, but NO. My contract was decreased in annual miles. Absolutely my fault for not looking closely at the contract, however did not think Acura would do something that incredibly shady. Pissed and would never recommend someone to do business with them. read more

Horrible customer service. Went in to get the LED bulb in my Enter button fixed along with my backup cam. I was advised by the only female in the Service department (her words not mine) that she could fix both issues. Per her I needed a Navigation update for my backup cam issue (what does my Navigation have to do with my backup cam), and a LED bulb for my flickering Enter button. I had them fix the backup cam issue with her recommended Nav update first since the LED was considered a special ordered. Two weeks passed no call from the dealership, so I reach out to my tech. She was absolutely the rudest individual I have ever dealt with. She never ordered the part and pretty much accused me of lying and was rather aggressive. She couldn't fathom that she may have just forgotten to order it. Due to her lake of professionalism I requested to speak to her supervisor in the hopes that they would be able to resolve the matter. To date I have not received a call and the VM was left prior to Christmas. I guess the lack of professionalism runs down hill. I would not recommend this dealership. They didn't fix any of my original issues. If they can't fix a bulb or a backup cam there's no way I would trust them with something more serious. Thanks for nothing...I'll just go to the Acura dealer in Duluth.....at least they know how to treat their clients. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! ! My roof paint is peeling and there is a recall on my year, model and color and my roof looks identical to the recall notice. Car is 2016 and paint started peeling in 2019. I let the dealership know but nothing was done. Acura says my VIN isn't covered. Corporate is offering to pay for half but I shouldn't have to pay for a KNOWN recall issue. Worst salesmen and businessmen you will ever deal with, I guarantee that. Stay away from this place at all costs. Worst experience I've ever had buying anything! Rude, pushy, then when I bought the used 2017 truck with 40k miles on it, I come to realize the following: 1) AC is blowing hot air (took back 2-3 weeks later they refused to help, laughed me out of the building when I asked). 2) The car battery is dead after a week of owning it. 3) I go to get a leveling kit, and my guy informs me that he can't work on the truck, due to the fact that it is RUSTED OUT AND WAS COVERED UP BY BLACK SYNTHETIC MATERIAL. The entire truck is rusted, was not disclosed to me and it was covered up, and they sold it as is. Upon discovering the truck is not worth keeping due to the amount of rust, I go back to them for the umpteenth time and they still won't help. A nightmare dealing with them. Dropped my truck off for them to look at it one day and they left it parked until I called and came by at 6pm, didn't even care to look at it. Snakes! I go back to the dealer demanding to get out of the contract, due to the fact it's rusted out, suspension is not in good shape, I couldn't see the rust when I purchased the car for almost $40k. They argued and basically said they'd buy it back for $4k less than I paid for it and tried to convince me to buy from them again. read more

So I'm at the Acura dealership in Roswell because there's an electrical recall on my 04 MDX. I get there and not even 10 minutes later, the service rep (didn't give me his name) tells me that the recall was a 20 year old recall and they don't have the parts. and there system was down (which it was). The thing that got me was his vibe...that feeling you get when you know they really don't want to help you? He didn't even offer the complimentary service check but he did tell me they can check my check engine light codes 199.00??? (Mind you their servers are still down) I called the 800 number 2 days prior for Acura before I made my appt and they told me to find a dealer and they will fix the recall issues. Why would he make it a matter how old the recall(s) were even an excuse not to do anything like check another dealer to see if the parts were even available? Their are 10 recalls which include air bags and other electrical issues but you trying to tell me that you don't have the parts for any of them? I sensed the lack of wanting to assist as soon as he opened his mouth. Never gave me his name but he was about 6'2, with a bald head (not trying to be funny). They did a "visual" check and washed my truck, but the kicker was before I left, he told me everything else that needed to be done but didn't tell me what part was even needed that they didn't have for the recall(s), but told me everything else needed that had a price tag on it. Lastly....I asked for a printout of all that they found. He said "I'll text it to you". What in the actual.......???? Jackson Acura ... y'all need to do better. read more

Brittany Byas was helping me today when I came in to get an oil change. The service she provided was excellent, explaining clearly what was done on my car and recommendations on the other services that my car is due for! I am writing about a recent experience I had with my 2022 (leased) Acura MDX. I have brought my car in several times for the same issue, the issue started in April of 2023. The front drivers side tire kept losing air pressure. We would fill it up and if I drove more than 30min on the highway the pressure would go down quickly. I had brought my vehicle into Jackson Acura service in Roswell several times and every time they would tell me they dunked the tire and could not find anything wrong. They would fill it with air (charging me for a flat tire fix) and then the issue would happen again. On February 15, 2024, I brought it in again (4th time for same issue) I was told that they gave me a new tire and that all should be fine. April of 2024 the issue happened again. I was told by Cameron my Service Advisor that there was nothing they could do since the dunk tank did not show any issues. Needless to say, this was NOT an answer I was happy with. They are the experts and yet could not figure out the issue. After having a very contentious conversation with Cameron and him telling me I need to pay $300 for a new rim, which may or may not fix the issue. I requested to speak to the service manager, Rodney who was out to lunch at the time. Cameron said he spoke with Rodney and was told to replace the entire wheel assembly, rim and tire but that if the issue happened again, it would be "on me" and I would have to pay. Needless to say, this did not sit well with me, and I left in tears of frustration. Rodney did call me back and was very nice and professional. He told me to bring my car back and they would replace the entire assembly, rim and tire. Brought my vehicle in this morning and low and behold once they took everything apart, they found that the internal valve stem where it meets the air pressure monitor was separating, which was causing the issue ALL ALONG, which leads me to believe I never received a new tire in February as I was told. Rodney did the right thing, and I was happy with Rodney, but I have lost faith and trust in Jackson Acura Service. My lease is up in November 2024, and I planned to get another Acura from Jackson Acura but now I think I will be looking into other dealerships/manufacturers. read more

Horrible customer service!!! The quality of service at this dealership has really suffered of late. I had a service appointment and when I showed up, they were literally too short staffed to check me in. I ended up leaving but rescheduled a few weeks later and when I got there, I was told they were likely not going to be able to diagnose the problem and fix my vehicle that day. I asked if I could leave me car and get a ride home. They said no as they had stop providing courtesy rides two weeks earlier. No one told me that they no longer provided courtesy rides when I made the appointment so again, I had to leave without getting my vehicle checked out. Unbelievably disappointed in this dealership's sales tactics. They push a costly prepaid maintenance program. When you do the math it seems like it may save you the expense of a few service visits over time, by paying in advance. However, even if you get all of your scheduled maintenance on time, the prepaid plan EXPIRES. That's right, it EXPIRES and the service you paid in advance for can no longer be used. Such a ridiculous scam. The service staff is generally pleasant but even they did not help address the issue. I was directed to a third-party phone number to try to be reimbursed when as of 14 days ago I had multiple service visits remaining on my account. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle at Jackson and if you must, do not pay for the prepaid maintenance program. read more

I have been to this dealership five times to get the issue resolved. The service is the worst experience. The service representative does not tell you what was done to the car they put inferior tires on the car without my permission Brought it back again they gave me a dirty loaner car They attempted to put tires that were two years old that were in their "warehouse " on the shelf for two years on my brand new 56k $ car So the sale manager stepped in twice to try to make it right The parts manager called and told me "the buck stops with him" there is nothing wrong with tires that are two years old. Again the sales manager to the rescue HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THE SERVICE MANAGER YET WHO IS HIDING BEHIND H8S SERVICE REP. STIL I go on the sales manager agreed to put four new tires on my car installed by the service department Still the service manager not available He is at lunch or off site meeting or vacation always not available to take a call from a potential customer. Or I'm put on hold by the service representative for 45 minutes. While they figure out how inferior tires were installed on my car or how defective tires were installed by the service technician. Oh excuse me ! I I Ass u me they were trying to figure it out. So the car has a terrible ride the service department has no interest in trying to fix it I drove to Augusta 9/22/2020 felt like I was driving on a rock " big rock" bump tee bump wobble wobble shake shake for 21/2 hours in a 56k $ car.That Jackson Acura can't seem to get right. Monday morning I took this pos to Nally Acura on Cobb parkway the service representative asked me to take there repair tech for a ride so he could experience what I was experiencing unlike Jackson Acura, this was my first visit not my third to resolve a problem with a new car. Brought his computer hooked it up to the car, he felt the bumpy wobbly shake ride Said "let me inspect and balance the tires and rims I apologize this may take another hour" ok no problem just want a decent ride. Thirty minutes pass "we found the problem one of the new tires is defective, we can't replace it because the invoice has Jackson Acura" take it back to them. I called Jackson Acura service got Yvonne service managers assistant I guess As she says she is speaking on behalf of the service managers be he is you guessed it "unavailable " I explain the findings to Yvonne and she immediately tells me that I don't need to bring the car back to Jackson Acura they can fix it at Nally" uninformed and wrong or passing the problem or simply not interested in providing service at any level. Yvonne was wrong I have to bring the car back to Jackson Acura to replace the tire. It's been 5 days my back hurts my neck is out of alignment my right hand is going numb from trying to drive this 56k$ POS MDX. I called service this morning Friday Yvonne answers (assistant to ........) said "I will check with the parts manager (Mr. the buck stops here) who says the tires are not avail due to COVID (Costco doesn't have a problem getting tires) and call you back No one has called. I am renting a car so I can work out of town this weekend because the 56k $ POS that Jackson Acura has no interest in fixing is too bump tee bump tee wobbly shaky for this Senior citizen to drive for four hours. Stay away from these clowns. Yes I will eventually get my car fixed or traded and buy from a dealer who provides quality knowledgeable service. My point is the defective tire should have been caught by the service technician instead they put an excessive amount of weights on the defective tire to attempt to get it to balance versus replacing the defective tire. Passing it along seems to be the culture of the service department at Jackson Acura. What a waste! read more
