Stay away from this place…read more I had an appointment scheduled, and when I arrived my salesman Cory was already outside dealing with another customer who was extremely upset because a car he purchased there had been hit. Honestly, I should've gotten back in my car and left right then. Before coming in, I did extensive research on what I wanted and what I could qualify for. I already had a prior approval from my credit union, which I honestly feel like they didn't want to use. I made it very clear that I did NOT want my credit run through a bunch of banks. My credit union was fully aware of my situation and was ready to finalize the deal. Instead, I was told they couldn't help me unless I had $5,000 down. After basically being sold a dream, they sent me on my way saying there was nothing they could do. A few days later, I received an email from Athena saying they actually could help me and she wasn't sure why I was turned away. Meanwhile, my credit was STILL being run while I wasn't even at the dealership. She rescheduled me for Sunday... with the SAME salesman. No apology, no accountability, nothing. After that, Athena stopped responding to my emails altogether. To say the least, I went right down the street to John Megel Chevrolet with the exact same trade-in and deal structure -- and walked away in a 2026 Trax with a MUCH better experience. If you don't have a huge down payment or a lot of cash, don't waste your time here.

Greg gave me an…read moreestimate of $754.72 and said if the parts came in with the emblem, painted, etc. (ie, ready to install) it would be $515.94. It took several days for anyone to see if the parts were in stock or needed to be ordered. I heard back from them that it was ready to install (don't know if it was in stock the whole time or not}. I am located 2 hours away. I made the appointment and went down today. They were trying to charge more than the estimate and I asked Linda why. She went in the back and then a woman came out ready for a fight. She immediately jumped down my throat. Not sure if I am spelling her name correctly but it was Rahel something. I think she was the manager of the collision department. She said that the price is the price and it didn't matter what Greg quoted. We were arguing in loud voices. I asked several times if Greg was there but she would not call him out. My sister was there and could not believe what a witch Rahel was. It was truly amazing how bad she verbally attacked me. She yelled that her estimate was correct and it was what it was. My blood pressure was sky high. It wasn't the dollar amount of the increase but the fact that she refused to honor the estimate. While we were fighting loudly in the entry, Linda went back and got Greg. Greg came out and explained to Rahel why the price was what it was and she stormed off. Rahel has no business interfacing with customers. Absolutely horrific. Linda took over who was trying to be accommodating. When I came back to pick up the car I inspected the grill. The painted part of the little bumper was not even the right color of the car. It is not even in the same color palette. I was so frustrated with how I was treated by Rahel and to avoid another episode, I didn't even mention it.

    They kept me at the dealership all day when I bought a new car from them. I have been trying to…read moreforgive them for that since it was years ago but the service dept has been a mixed bag, perpetuating the low standards of the business. Most recently after ordering tires and making an appointment weeks in advance, receiving multiple appointment reminders, taking a day off from work, driving 1.5hrs, dropping my car off and leaving for lunch, Andean calls and says the tires aren't there. So an entire day of my time and wages spent on Andean because of their disorganization. Totally unacceptable. The best part was when the service manager told me not to drive so far for an appointment. "You know some people buy the car here and get service done somewhere closer to home." This is actually the second service manager who has recommended I go somewhere else after buying a brand new car from them, all because I demand basic, basic customer service. I'll be back for my free oil changes! Stop wasting my time. Keep your appointments, verify that parts have arrived, communicate with half a brain. I'll be sending Andean appointment reminders from now on instead of the other way around, because evidently they need a daddy to keep things organized.

I brought my Subaru Legacy in for a routine 120K mile service -- something I've done many times at other Subaru dealerships without a single issue. What I received at Troncalli Subaru was one of the most blatant examples of misrepresentation and upsell pressure I've ever experienced at any dealership. After dropping the car off at 8:30 AM for a service quoted at five hours, I received a mid‑day call claiming they had found a laundry list of "leaks" and "failures," including a "main case leak" requiring a full transmission replacement for over $9,200. The total recommended repairs exceeded $17,000 -- on a car that has never shown a single drivability issue, warning light, or fluid loss. Here's the problem: None of their claims were supported by evidence. No photos. No dye test. No fluid level measurements. No technician notes. And the short 10-15 second videos they eventually provided showed zero active leaks -- nothing even remotely close to what they were claiming. To protect myself, I took the car to a reputable independent Subaru specialist. Their assessment? "An incredibly well‑maintained vehicle for its mileage. Natural seepage is normal. There are no immediate concerns." No leaks. No transmission issues. No safety problems. Nothing even close to what Troncalli Subaru tried to sell me. This experience wasn't just disappointing -- it felt predatory. It's the kind of behavior that gives dealership service departments a terrible reputation. If I hadn't known better, or if I hadn't sought a second opinion, I could have been pressured into thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. For contrast: I've had years of excellent, honest service at Subaru of Gwinnett, who have always treated me with professionalism and accuracy. Subaru makes great vehicles, and most Subaru dealers reflect that. Troncalli Subaru does not. If you're considering service here, do yourself a favor: Get everything in writing, demand real evidence, and be prepared to get a second opinion. Better yet -- take your Subaru somewhere that values integrity.
