Don't waste your money. I left with my nails a mess. $25 to get gel polish that looked like my 6 year old did it. Not friendly.

I walked in as I was in the area and I wasn't going to have time to get to my normal salon today. I directly asked the lady if they do SNS and she said they do. I was hurried into a chair and realized they didn't have the huge selection of sns dip colors I was used to, not a big deal, I settled on a teal and she removed my old polish. She was a bit heavy handed with the drill, but nothing to terrible. She clipped and quickly shaped my nails and tried to upsell me on a manicure. I passed upon hearing that they are charging $35 for dip powder here ( I typically pay $30 and wouldn't mind the extra few bucks had they done a really good job). I felt the tech was a bit cold , but I chopped that up to just being a new client here. She pulled out get polish and I instantly noticed it was Kiara Sky instead of SNS and I figured it would be fine. It applies the same way. I noticed she only used step 2 and 3. I'm not sure about Kiara Sky, but when I get SNS they use a base. I don't know if its not needed with this system or if they just skipped it. I was pretty perturbed when they brought out the UV light for the top coat though. One of the main reasons I get dip powder is to avoid the light. I asked why and was told that use a gel top coat. Sensing my displeasure I was told if anything happens with in two weeks to come back. Over all they do not look like SNS. They are a bit....gunky looking I guess. Its not terrible, but there is a dent in one of my nails already and they just don't look as good and thin as I am used to. The sheen is not the glassy look I am used to. It is kinda shiny, but it's like its only shiny on top and I swear I can see the powder under it. I am updating this one week later. One of my nails already has a chip and crack down it. I am admittedly hard on my nails, but that is a huge reason I get dip powder. I typically wear it for three weeks at a time with no chips or cracks, just grow out. Obviously the gel top coat is no where near as hard as it needs to be, but I paid for dip powder. read more

I stopped in here for a pedicure on a Sunday because my normal place was closed. On the plus side it was inexpensive and there was no wait. They only offer one pedicure and it was quick and utilitarian. It got the job done but it wasn't very relaxing. I might come back in a pinch but this definitely isn't my first choice. read more

I wish I could give 6 stars! David did a pedicure for me tonight and honestly, my big toes feel better than they have in a year. I had a botched pedicure then and have had extremely painful ingrown toenails on both toes since then. I was reluctant to let him work his magic at first, I told him to just not even touch them. He carefully explained what he wanted to do and how much better it would feel, so I agreed. He was very gentle and removed the spikes that were causing my pain. Came in at noon for a quick pedicure, no gel just regular polish. I was sat right away, given COLD water to soak my feet and the man started right away. I wouldn't be upset that he spent an hour and a half on my pedicure if my toes looked good, however my big toes are extremely crooked and the polish is all over my skin. $35 dollars for that. My nails done by Nail Pro Charlestown RD are super crusty and they didn't even paint my whole nail. They rush and don't do a very good job on your nails. Also when they filed my nails, they unevened them so I currently have a long nail in one hand a short one on the other. Not only that, but the nail polish does not match the nail tester. read more

This is my favorite nail salon, and I have tried several. They do quality work, have a wide variety of colors, and are friendly and polite.

Let me start by saying I travel the country for work and I am in various nail salons all over the US with some regularity. This salon is clean and has good sterile technique. It may be the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in. That's the first thing I look for. My service was excellent and timely. It was well done. They do have a single utilitarian pedicure - no additional options, but they have clean and modern equipment, great service and very reasonable prices. Again, the first thing I look for is cleanliness and this place has it. They use branded Clorox with bleach to clean each station and the autoclave technology I look for when I go into a salon. I don't have portraits drawn on my fingers and I don't look for an experience when I go into a nail salon. I want a good pedicure done well with clean instruments and a natural nail manicure. This is what I got here and I will be continuing as a customer. There are plenty of chairs, even two small ones for little girls. Their polish selection was good and it was not old and dried which I see often. Good value for your money. read more

My mom, sister, and I got pedicures for Mother's day. I was looking away talking to my sister, and the person doing my nails nudged the employee next to them, pressed on the chubby part of my ankle and they both started giggling. I gave her a dirty look and my sister realized what had just happened. In that moment I was so shocked that I couldn't even think to tell her to stop so I could leave. I didn't think I would be able to explain to anyone in the store what happened, so I paid and as I was leaving, she was standing over me while I didn't leave her a tip. It was awful. THEN, on top of that - my toe nails have almost chipped all the way off within 3 days!!!! Awful experience and I won't go back. read more

Me and a couple of my co workers went here for a full set and pedi's. The guy and lady who helped us was so rude I felt uncomfortable. My friend just as I did asked for a full set he this man did not give her a full set he simply painted her nails when she said something to him he was rude and said you still have to pay extra for what I did. Then the lady that did my nails didn't even get the acrylic from under my nails and charged me $85 when they clearly said it would be 25 for my feet and 30 for my nails. Needless to say we won't be going back here ever again we felt as if we where on the t.v show punk are something I just knew someone was going to come out with camera are something!!!!!! read more
