Abosolutely great salon and staff! When I started going to Sassy Nails there were a dozen nail salons closer to my apartment where I could stop to get my ull-set of dip nails and a pedicure. However, I'd pass those locations happily so that I could get to my appointment and be pampered at Sassy Nails. The technicians at the salon are all well skilled in traditional color as well as new designs and techniques. The salon itself has grown over the years, consistently kept up with upgrades, and is always clean and welcoming. Pricing is reasonable and if you have an issue with the service you receive they're always willing to correct any issue so that you leave satisfied. I recommend Sassy Nails for any of the great services they provide and thank them for keeping the cutsomers at the center of their business model. Stop by and get a little sassy. I have to say. This salon exceeded my expectations. I get major anxiety going to a new salon because im afraid i wont get what im requesting. Its hard for me because im an artist myself..so I'm more fussy. Unintentionally. First..I had an awesome tech, and I did my best to describe what I like. Each salon is different on describing nails. Unfortunately I didn't have any photos for an example. She did try what I asked, and after a few hours, you naturally are ready to go. I accepted my new full set and left. Unfortunately...I was not happy, something was off. So the next morning I came back...my anxiety is really high now, because I don't want to complain or make someone feel like they did something wrong. I also was worried how she was going to react and if the manager was going to argue with me. ( These were experiences from other salons begore.) NOT HERE! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I came in, I was greeted, asked what was wrong. They apologized, the owner made me feel so comfortable and didn't want me to worry. She took care of me, and my original tech was by her side, and she was sweet, and didn't make me feel bad because I came back. My nails got fixed. Wonderful ladies. And this Salon is so organized and beautiful. Clean, and has a great vibe. I felt they genuinely cared about their customers. The owner didn't want my tip for fixing my nails..but I forced her to take it. Lol I will return, now that I know what to ask for when describing my nails. I can't wait for my pedicure this week. Second day of covid19 opening. I was able to call Paul, Mgr/owner maybe, and made a pedicure appt with him, first appt, at 930a. Got there at 920, door opened, went in, masked up. Girl took temp and sat me in pedicure chair. Asked me what color I would like got that for me. I watched others come in the door and rummage thru the colors, picking out their own. I also watched customers thumbing thru the hundreds of sample color sticks. Next, I'm offered another stylist but said I would wait for Paul, as I was early. While waiting, 4 other guests arrive plus maybe 5-7 employees. Paul informs me he is busy and another stylist will do my pedicure. She's very nice, thorough and did a good job. She escorts me over to the nail fan to dry my nails. Then it happens. Another employee grabs her, talked to her, obviously about me....several minutes, then they head to the back. I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable as she keeps looking at me, smiling and continues listening to him. She immediately comes to me, asks me to pay my $30 charge along with her $10 tip. As soon as I sign my name, she tells me I need to leave.....RIGHT NOW!!!! How can I leave?? My nails are totally wet. Paul comes out and I call him over. He tells me...CDC says he can only have 10....in his shop!! Is that 10 guests, or 10 total. Whatever, it's not my call!!! I remind him, if his shop is over the cdc limit, he should not have allowed NUMBER ELEVEN in the door. He allowed me to stay a couple more minutes, which really didn't matter, then I left. Sitting there those 2 minutes, I noticed another employee cleaning his chair and Paul began. cleaning the chair I was in, like he forgot that step. Keep in mind, when I left, there was no one sitting in their car, waiting for a call to to come in, plus another customer was drying her fingernails under a light. What a disappointment!!! Was soooo thrilled with this experience, and then the bomb dropped. Hope they get their operating procedure more down pat, and not chase (new) clients out, with wet polish. read more

They are good, but it depends on who you get to do your nails. The owner and his wife were the only ones I'd trust to do my nails. The last two people who did mine either put too much powder on my nails, which made my nails way too thick, and one filed my nails into a 45 degree angle on one hand. I love how close Belle is to my house, but I'm going somewhere else to get my nails done. read more

I'm not usually a fan of getting my nails done, and my nails looked awful prior to this due to previously removing my own dip nails, but I had a wonderful experience at Sassy Nails. My nail tech was friendly and helped me figure out the perfect nail shape that I wanted but didn't quite know how to describe ("tapered round" is what she called it). She was very meticulous when adding tips and did a great job of applying the dip smoothly and evenly without it being too thick. I'm not very chatty and we shared a bit of conversation, but she didn't try to force small talk. I noticed others in the shop enjoying conversations with their techs and everyone seemed to be pleased with the services they received. Everyone is required to wash their hands upon entering, the employees wore masks and all equipment used seemed clean in the salon. read more

My nails are so beautiful now. i went in for a nail dip. The salon is so beautiful and welcoming fresh flowers, music playing, and its so clean here. hard to believe they do nails here. Janna is the nail tech that did my nails. She was so sweet and asked me every step of the way if i liked my nails. We were done in under an hour and i wasnt late to work. I've been coming to Sassy Nails since I moved to Louisville 9months ago. My first experience there was amazing, and I have been coming back ever since. When I first came here I had never heard of dip powder - I was typically a gel kinda gal. My mom and I decided to try dip and loved it! My manicure is usually on 3-4 weeks before I remove it, but my mom has even stretched hers out 6-8 weeks before. My mom now waits until she's in town to visit so that she can get her nails done here. Not only is their work top notch and pricing on point, but everyone there is so kind and the owners are amazing. I always look forward to going in and seeing them. I've brought several people here and everyone is always super happy with their manicures. I prefer to make an appointment just to be sure I have a spot if they are busy, but they do take walk-ins as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

My adult daughter and I went to this salon to get pedicures . We had previously gone there and were impressed with everything, so we chose this one again . The day day we went, it was raining, and 45 degrees outside. It was as cold or colder inside the salon. My daughter's massage chair didn't work, and there was no offer made to change chairs. They had rap music playing ,I wouldn't say blaring but loud enough that you couldn't ignore it. I don't have anything against Rap music, but it's not the relaxing atmosphere you expect when you are getting a pedicure. Plus, both our techs seemed to be in a hurry to finish, then just disappeared. I will be looking for a new place next time. read more

This is a lovely gem in the Lyndon area. I have been here twice and on my second trip the owner knew me by name, knew my friends name that had referred me, and took excellent care of me. HOWEVER, they are only getting three stars from me because the quality of my manicure wasn't the best - all the nail polish chipped off three days after the service. AND the prices were not what I was expecting. At all. Don't get me wrong, I should've called the store before arriving to check on the prices, I know that. But the part that annoyed me was when I called the store a few days after going, to see what they would say their prices were... My all time favorite nail salon in Louisville! This place was recommended to me from a previous coworker a little over a year ago and let me just say I refuse to go anywhere else! I've had every "veteran" employee do my nails there more than one and I have never left dissatisfied. I originally started going for the dip manicures and I haven't had any other manicure since. I use my natural nails because I have long nail beds. Not once have I ever had any chips or inconsistencies. I used to go every two weeks like clockwork, but I'm now stretching it out to go every 3-4 weeks depending on my schedule. Their dip color selection is extensive, you're guaranteed to find a color you'll like! I've only every had the basic pedicure, but even then it was great. Will probably splurge for a more expensive one towards my birthday. I would definitely call and make an appointment for any service you're wanting. It will make things easier. I've had a mishap where one of the workers put me and a girlfriend down for the wrong day, we just went to the Mexican restaurant and killed some time. The workers are really friendly and always so personable when you come in. I'm not a huge talker when I come in, but they always manage to get me out of my shell! read more

I'm a nail biter and needed some pretty fingers before I walked my son down the aisle. I came here because I was next door at J. Elizabeth Designs (a MUST for flowers!) Anyhow, I decided to check it out. The owner was super nice and didn't shame my awful habit. I left here with some pretty pink nails. I read once that if you don't do something for three weeks then that's all you need to break a habit. So, I went back and got more. Blue this time (not UK blue boyfriend!) It's been over a month and now I'm sporting my own short but real nails. I'll probably go back for that long lasting polish since I'm not much of a fake nails girls. Disgusting. This is not my typical nail salon, I was out this way and thought I would give it a try. I had my nails done about 3-4 weeks ago and the technician did quite a terrible job. First, she cut the heck out of my fingers. I mean, I was bleeding quite a bit for getting a manicure. I got dip nails, and to be honest, the way she did my nails was quite unsanitary. However, today, I was sitting in class when a nail completely popped off, revealing my actual nail, and it was GREEN. Yes, my nail had mold in/on it. I knew something felt wrong when I had them done. She applied the nail powder and other sealants while my nails were still wet. I am absolutely disgusted and embarrassed that I now have mold on my nail. I am furious. I visited this salon for the first time a few months ago. It's close to my home and had gotten excellent reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I only get manicures a few times a year, for special occasions. At the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try a dip manicure. I pulled a photo from their Instagram and showed them what I wanted. My nails weren't long enough for the look I wanted so they suggested something else. They do have tons of options for dip colors, which is a plus. The salon itself is very nice, large but homey. I liked the ambiance a lot actually. The end result was just okay. The polish was extremely thick - it looked nothing like other dip manicures I have seen on others. Even the staff who walked by during my appointment asked if the tech was doing it right. Like another reviewer said, I was charged more than I was originally quoted over the phone when I called to make an appointment. It wasn't a big difference in price but it was still off putting. The manicure did last awhile. I ended up going to a different salon to have it removed and my nails were a mess - so damaged and brittle. Even the nail tech said that the dip wasn't done correctly. She scraped a huge hole in my heel which is very very dangerous for diabetics. When I hold her she blew me off. I could have lost my foot. Dangerous and unprofessional. read more

I love this Salon. Teri, Thea, and Paul have all done an outstanding job. My hands are in a lot of chemicals at work, I wash my hands constantly there as well. I've been able to keep them pretty perfect for 2-3 weeks many times. Obviously, they're grown out after three weeks, but polish/gel/etc holds up great. All the years I've been getting my nails done, I'm so glad I came here on a recommendation and tried some place new. I also tried dip on a recommendation from Teri. The way it's done makes them durable like acrylics with minimal damage and they look fabulous. People always ask me where I go. I'm pretty sure every single one of us in my group of friends come here. Basically: time/efficiency, more than worth the money (actually really fairly priced), great company because staff is awesome, super clean...I could go on and on. I went here last Saturday afternoon for the first time and I was very impressed! I was able to check prices online and I made an appointment for 1 PM. I was in and out in about 45 mins since there was practically no other customers there, so the atmosphere was nice and calming. I got a gel manicure and I loved it!
