I was a Thursday evening walk in and was immediately greeted and seated. The lady doing my nails spent a lot of time with me, and paid close attention to detail (especially when shaping). One of my nails wasn't the same length as the others so she suggested adding a tip. The nail salon was clean and organized. My total for dip was $45. If you want to add chrome it's an addition $15. The only negative I'll mention has to do with the color. While I love the color, I noticed there's some lighter spots throughout on my nails. My bridal party (group of 5) went in for manicures and pedicures on a Friday morning and had a wonderful experience! We made appointments (recommended) in advance and they made sure to have 5 technicians so that we could all get our nails done at the same time. Some of us went with classic, some gel, and one dip. The pedicure spa was so relaxing and the massage chair was very nice. The space was clean and well-maintained and the staff members were all very polite and helpful. I tried dip nails for the first time ever with Ronn in 2019 and have been going back ever since. They specialize in dip nails and can do nail art among other things. The prices are reasonable, the store is clean, staff are friendly, and Ronn really takes the time to make sure I like my nails. He is meticulous in getting the color and shape I like, and takes extra attention in shaping, smoothing, buffing, etc. He can be creative and tries to get you the design you like, or make suggestions if you want to try something new and fun. I'm still looking for a new nail spot since my go-to place closed, and decided to try Glamorous Nails since it had so many good reviews. I made an appointment, but they also take walk-ins. On a Thursday afternoon they were pretty quiet, so an appointment wasn't necessary. I had a pedicure first. The pedicure chairs were in the back, and looked very old. The leather was peeling off, with pieces of it sticking to my arm. There was no liner in the bowl. The pedicure turned out well, but it seemed to take a long time. Next I got a manicure with gel polish. Again, this turned out fine, but took a long time. The nail tech had me soak my hands and buffed the surface of my nails, which I've never had done for a gel manicure. The lotion that was used on my hands and feet smelled very strongly, and lingered for the rest of the day. The services took a total of an hour and a half. The whole time I was there, there was only one other client. Before tip, the cost was $65. Everything was okay, but I wouldn't necessarily plan on coming here again. read more

I've been to Glamours Nails & Spa in the past for dip and a pedicure however I wasn't a fan of their dip but I did remember great pedicures or at least I thought so. The convince factor here played a major role since Glamours Nails & Spa is a couple minutes away from my job. I walk in and notice know one is waiting which is a major plus for me since I stopped in my on my lunch break. I pick my color and then motioned to sit at the pedicure station. The water is hot which is kudos in my book. I've been to some places that will sit you sit in lukewarm water knowing that you are in need of the hot water to let your feet soak in. My pedicure is being done my a man which I'm typically open to because men seem to give the better foot massages. One thing that flew me off is that I wasn't offered was a menu of services. From the moment I sat down he just started removing my polish. Everything was fine until it came to him painting my toes which is when I noticed that they were cut angled instead of straight. For a quick pedicure I can't complain too much however I just wish that it didn't feel so rushed. When my bill came I was given the price of $30 for a basic pedicure nothing fancy at all. No leg scrub no paraffin, no orange slices, nothing fancy.So confused. Overall I need a pedicure because my toes where in need of some TLC however I will be not be returning back to Glamours Nails & Spa instead I will just make sure to make an appointment with my old faithful nail salon that gives me perfect results consistently. read more

Got right in so that was a plus. The girl who did my nails wasn't that friendly, maybe she was just shy though or had a bad day. I paid 60 dollars for acrylic tips + a regular pink gel polish , no design, nothing. Inflation is definitely real, but that price is insane for just a base color. I got my dream nails done today at Glamorous Nails & Spa! The customer service was excellent the nail tech, Ginny, Was super talented and super friendly. I received the best set of nails I've ever gotten in my life! Ginny is very talented! She went the extra mile and did a really great job which I will be posting pictures of with this review. My only problem is that I don't live in Louisville. I've had dip done at other salons and had issues with the nail being too thick or not all the way back to the cuticle. Not a problem at this place. The next day i told them about this and they said they will refund me only if i come back and have them soak the off. I told them that i had already soaked them off. Ok, so I'm a dude who seldom ever thinks of manicures or pedicures. But having finished The Bourbon Chase relay race yesterday, I found my feet in need of some pampering. I saw the other reviews for this shop, plus the fact that they're one of the few in my neighborhood open on a Sunday. I shopped on their website and decided on the Glamorous Signature pedicure. I came in with a bruised toe and some sore spots that needed to be worked on and around. I first sat in a delightful massage chair, then soaked before getting my pedicure. Afterwards, three types of skin creme massaging on my feet and calves, followed by a hot stone rub then a hot towel calf wrap and paraffin dip made this experience well worth the $55. If you come in here, ask for "Tra". She is very good at her job and left me in great shape! read more

I just got my nails done here yesterday. The shop itself is nice. I received red dip powder on my natural nails. I had to get tips on 4 natural nails from them breaking and being so short. I think they did a pretty good job. My only complaint would be I think the nails are too fat especially towards the bottom. The nails could have been shaped up better. I dont think my nails were worth the $35 + $3 for tips. So I probably wont be back for dip powder services. She was nice enough, but my nail tech seemed very inexperience as I left the salon with nails that were shorter and not the shape that I requested, cuticles that still needed to be cut, and nail polish on my actual hands. I can also always tell an inexperienced tech when they take way too long to give mediocre results. I arrived around 6PM, wasn't finished with my gel manicure by 7, and by then end was feeling rushed out. $35 before tip is also more than I've ever paid for a regular gel mani. Today was my first time at this nail salon. I've been looking for a new salon and wanted to try a new one out with a standard pedicure as I feel that is the best way to get a feel for an establishment so I went to Yelp to look for a good one in my area and that's how I found this place. I went with a friend and they got us right in on a Saturday afternoon. Overall my pedicure went well, I just got a basic one and the place is clean and they offer you a beverage when you come in. Also a perk! The only reason I am giving this establishment 4 stars instead of is because not all of the pricing and services have been updated since being taken over by new owners two weeks ago. For example the paraffin dip many raved about is not available and the price of the pedicure is now $30 instead of the listed $27. Overall though I recommend this establishment and look forward to trying them for a dip manicure. read more

First time visit. Made appointment for manicure and pedicure. Salon could be cleaner. Didn't use liners in foot bowls. Technician rushed both services yet there were no other customers waiting. Was there for 1 1/2 hours. $85 for both services which is a fair price but polish is spotty in spots and there are bubbles on most of my nails. Also, I didn't specify but I like the polish to meet my cuticles without a gap. Technician left gap which is much easier than polishing all the way to cuticle. Not super terrible, but will not patronize again. read more
