Not only was it painful, but they didn't care! The worst part was that the salon didn't seem to take responsibility for the mistake. The pictures below show the cut on my toe, and as you can see, it was quite deep. Called this morning for a last minute early appointment. The gentleman that answered was extremely friendly. My appointment was made at 10 with Kim. When I arrived she promptly got me seated upon and within an hour I had my mani and pedi done. She did an excellent job, by far one of the best mani and pedi experiences I have had in a long time. Kim paid close attention to detail and even the slightest imperfections (like fuzz on a nail) she immediately fixed. To top it all off the salon was super clean and while there I witnessed multiple employees wiping down surfaces and washing their hands. I was a walk-in on a Monday afternoon at about 1pm and was able to get right in for a nail dip and removal. The salon was fairly busy and seemed to have mostly regular customers there requesting specific nail techs. Kacy did a great job on my dip! Lots of color choices. The TV was helpful to pass time and the super long plant wrapped around the salon was a unique feature. There are signs up that indicate that they prefer cash or checks, but they do accept credit cards. Recommend! read more

They didn't yesterday and did not give the disinfectant enough time between clients. Same for tools. I will look for a salon that autoclaves and tools come in sealed packages. I asked for a color change on nails, i was told they charge an additional dollar for every color change between fingernails. This was very odd to me, I've never had that charged ever before anywhere else so I did not opt in for that. there was no cuticle oil treatment used on my cuticles. Overall I was pleased with the nail job. Unfortunately, getting a really good manicure / pedicure in the Kentuckiana area is rather challenging. I recently moved back to this area after being gone for many, many years. I lived in the DC Metro area, Atlanta, Houston, and Phoenix. All these places had nail salons that cared about producing quality, consistent work to keep customers returning and just simply taking pride in their work or craft. I'm not sure what Kentuckiana is lacking in this industry, but this nail salon did a fine job. I plan to return and hope to receive service that remains good and consistent. read more

I like the warm wax dip on my hands when getting a manicure... this has been the only place I've been to that has done this. My hands always feel soft after. They take their time and never rush. Today was my first visit and I have to say overall I'm happy with the results. The gentleman that did my mani and pedi was very friendly and talkative which in my experience they usually keep to themselves. It was a nice change! My pedicure was good and my manicure was decent. I don't feel like he took as much care with my mani. There was goopy spots on the sides of some of my fingers from top coat. Luckily it's not very noticeable and it was just a few of them. He took care to make sure I was happy with my color choices. The only real negative I would add is that my friend frequents here and has had poor experiences with some of the nail techs there. This nail salon's convenient hours, large selection of polish, and professional staff are quickly making it one of my top destinations for a walk in mani-pedi or gel polish. While I was initially drawn in by their Sunday hours, I keep coming back because they have more colors of OPI gel polish than I have found in any other salon and their application is impeccable and long lasting. The staff is friendly and professional and the salon is clean and comfortable. The only downfall is that tips are cash only. I really wish they would fix this so I could add the tip onto my credit card. If this inconvenience was fixed it would be a five star salon. read more

Wow, what a deal. I just got a gel manicure and not only did Chrystal do a great job, it includes a dip in parafin wax! All for $25. Yeah the decor is a bit odd, but the quality it what matters. And they have a big book full of gel colors. I'll be back for sure. read more

I've been to this place several times over the years and recently took a hiatus. I went back today for a pedicure and I was reminded WHY I stayed away. They were not very pleasant (I was never once greeted or thanked for my service) and I felt rushed. They have more than one pedicure option, however I was not given an option yet I overwhelmed them giving another client a full list of options. One of my toes was 'broken' apparently but I wasn't told about it and it was not fixed. Just painted over and left the way it is. I am so upset. I will never come here again!! I'm not sure if it's the environment or if it's because I am a woman of color. Either way, I will not return. I can and will spend my money where I am valued and treated with respect! read more

Got a regular french manicure for 30$, I went right after they opened on a Saturday morning so there was no wait, it only took about an hour until they got pretty busy. I was greeted immediately and it seemed most of the techs understood english pretty well. I was helped by a younger looking girl that did my nails but she seemed pretty experienced. There were some small children there and my nail tech actually had to get up at one point during my manicure to keep one of the little ones out of mischief but other than that they were very well behaved and quiet. One complaint was there was no soak or anything to help get off my old acrylics, she literally scraped them off my nails with a tool which wasn't very pleasant. And she cut my true nails with a jagged clipper and didn't smooth them out at all before doing the manicure so the tops of my nails look beautiful but the bottoms are constantly getting snagged on things, they are so jagged and that is a real pet peeve of mine. I ended up buying a tool off amazon so I can smooth them myself. Also did nothing with my cuticles. Despite that, the manicure itself looks lovely, I just wish things were a bit smoother. Overall, an average manicure. May try out somewhere else before going back there. read more
