I have been going here on and off for maybe 3 yea to now. I have never had an issue with them. The place is always clean. They are very friendly. I always leave with what I want on my nails. After my first two regular visits they knew my name and that was really nice. When I decided to switch my nails in the middle of the appointment they changed the style and everything. horrible experience. instead of gently removing my nails they were ripped off to the point I cried. Only after that were some of them soaked off. My nail tech felt bad and tried to compensate by being overly friendly. I really prefer a quiet experience. After some chat I also felt insulted when he said 'you must not be a good bartender because all the bartenders I know break their nails'. In my opinion, turns out this salon doesn't do a good job and after this first (and only) visit I did indeed have FIVE nails come off. read more

Getting ready for a vacation and chose this place because it was convenient to my other errands. The staff there were very pleasant. That is pretty much all the positives and the 2 stars. The place doesn't have an organized and CLEAN feel. The manicure station chairs for both staff and guests are visibly very worn. They propped the front door open and when someone commented on the heat, an employee said they couldn't afford to run the air conditioner. So I sat with my feet in hot water and started to sweat. I finally asked if they had any water...ummm...NO. They take on more than they can do. I do not mind waiting for excellent service. I started with one lady with a rushed pedicure then handed off to another for nails. No manicure steps like trimming/pushing cuticles. You could tell she was rushing. I have had better quality for less $. Being nice is a plus but after a $135 bill I expect more attention to the details. Sadly, I will be researching a different salon. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. My regular nail salon was closed so I just needed somewhere quick and easy to go get a fill in. THEY DID THE OPPOSITE. Henry who I had ruined my nails, and cut my cuticles so bad they were bleeding. I showed him THREE times the design I wanted and he failed miserably, then tried to blame it on me. Henry was my nail technician. I don't get my nails done very often. I went in for a fill-in, and I was there for two hours when he finished I was so annoyed by the amount of time that I spent there, I didn't look at the finish job until I got home. When I got home and looked at my nails, they look like crap they're uneven they are thick he painted my cuticles, my two year old granddaughter could've done a better job. I'm not going back for them to fix it because I don't trust them. also, when it came time for payment, Henry said that it's better to pay in cash, of course it is. I don't carry cash so the other option of payment was Venmo or cash app what a crappy operation this is, I will never return, and I will spread the word for anybody looking for a nail salon not to go to this place. read more

Don't go to French Tips for French tips... Went here before a vacation for a gel manicure and that was a mistake. I will say, the man who did my nails was very friendly and that was about the only plus. I asked to keep as much length as I could and to only have my nails shaped. He barely filed the tops of my nails then moved on to using cuticle clippers for at least 10 minutes. As my hands are soaking, I notice two nail clippings at the bottom of the bowl (mind you he did not clip my nails). Then, he tells me to go wash my hands and as I am doing that, he comes to the sink next to me. I then watch him dump the bowl of water that my hands were soaking in (with skin from him picking my fingers to death) and without rinsing or cleaning it, he places it back under the sink where he got it from. I was appalled, instantly disgusted, and made sure to take extra long washing my hands. He then starts my manicure and when finished shaping the French tips, asks me how it looks before it is cured under the lamp. The lines were thick and squiggly so I requested for them to be made thinner. After he goes through the process of correcting them, the lines still look a bit squiggly. However, trusting the process and giving him the benefit of the doubt, I said okay. Attached are pictures of my end result. In my opinion, they were not worth the money and I was left very dissatisfied and with two bleeding cuticles. These pictures are from the same day as the service. I'd like to also note that the raised, cracked edge on my thumb is after I went back to have them fix it. I called shortly after I left and left a message requesting for some resolution of the poor service I received (the owner was with a client when I was leaving and I did not want to be rude and interrupt or to call the person who did my nails out in front of others). Greeted by someone named Henry at the door and he was very rude. I was set to get a pedicure and he ended up being my tech. During the pedicure he dug at my toe after telling him it was not ingrown and then he puts his fist to the arch of my foot, which causes excruciating pain and total discomfort the rest of the visit! If I do return, I will definitely request someone else! read more

After having come here occasionally in the past, I decided to come in this afternoon for a pedicure. I signed in, grabbed my polish, and was pretty quickly led to a chair with the employee saying "got my station all set up for you here!". However, I basically wasn't addressed for at least the NEXT HOUR+. Just sitting in the chair with my feet in water that eventually turned room temp. There was no estimate of any sort of extended wait time--they definitely made it seem like they'd be starting soon. Had they told me it'd be 'X' amount of time before they'd get to me, or even apologized for and acknowledged the extended amount of time I was waiting, I'd be more sympathetic. At least give me the option to go to something productive for the next 1-2 hrs instead of misleading me into wasting my time. It is ridiculously disrespectful and unprofessional to mislead customers into waiting an embarrassingly long time before finally walking out. After the lady who came in after me finally decided to leave and the massage chair thing-y timed out for the third time, I had hit my limit. As soon as I was getting up, the employee asked "oh, you're leaving too? I was just about to get to you!" Okay. Though I have been a Yelp user for years, this annoyed me so much that I decided to leave my very first review. Perhaps others will have a better experience here. read more

I have been going to French Tips for about a year now. I really love working with Paige. She is friendly and does everything the way that i like! She always makes sure that I leave with my nails looking amazing. They last several weeks - rarely do they chip. I do ask for them to add bond aid to my acrylics and a rose coat for the body of my nails. This is a personal preference and may not be necessary for everyone. read more

I love this nail salon. Every time I go in the staff is always friendly and nice. I rarely have to wait to get an appointment. The woman who does my nails, Paige, is very friendly, and always does a great job. They offer regular acrylic and gel for $5 more. The gel is very nice and doesn't shrink up like regular acrylic so there is less pain the next day. They offer wine with every pedicure and the facility is always neat and clean. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone!! The most unsanitary place I have ever been. The girl who did my nails had my fingers bleeding so bad to where I had blood all over my hands. Decided to soak my nails to try and remove them since she was making such a mess! The horrible thing is she put the acetone back into the bottle to reuse with it having blood in it from my fingers!!! When leaving her paint job was horrible but she never came back to see how they came out. No one in the shop was willing to fix them for me. I left and went to another nail salon to get the paint job redone. So unhappy with the service I received and disgusted by the fact that she didn't clean any of the items blood got on. read more

I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. The Polish job was so bad I had to go home and fix it myself. Not to mention the Polish was not cleaned off around the nails. Being a cosmetologist I noticed so many things done incorrectly. I went into French Tips to get gellac taken off of my nails and to get a regular manicure done. I happened to be in the area and they had a reasonably short wait. A middle aged American woman who never told me her name did my nails. She started by taking the gellac off of my nails but was unsuccessful at taking the base coat off. Rather than actually allowing it to soak longer she just continued the manicure as though it wasn't still on my nails. I commented on it and she told me that my nails were just dry and I wouldn't notice it. I also had a nail that was snagged so I asked her to cut my nails down so that one wouldn't break making them all uneven. She cut them down but not far enough down to get rid of the snag. As a result that one broke today (less than 24 hours later). I elected a french manicure and she had a very difficult time doing the white tips. The problem may have started with the lack of a base coat before she put down any white (which are now chipping off just 24 hours later). She had to go over and over them with white because they looked awful and she could tell. In then end they looked uneven and horribly unnatural. Having a coat of bumpy gellac base underneath of the entire nail just adds to the unnatural look. This really might be one of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. Oh and there are no extras at this salon so don't expect a free parafin wax to go with your bad manicure. Total cost of the gellac removal and the french manicure was $20. Definatly a one star experience. read more

I went to go get my nails done yesterday with a friend and was absolutely appalled. The young Caucasian woman doing my nails just wanted to talk to me and didn't focus on actually putting on my acrylics, and the end result really showed. They were all uneven, not straight, and you should see through the polish! I had to come home and redo them myself, and the only reason I still paid was because I had a gift certificate. I was at this salon yesterday & will not go back there again, or at least I would not get the same lady I had. She was very friendly however, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. First of all, she put plastic bags on my legs then put the towels over that! What?! It felt gross. Then she burnt my legs with the hot towels!!! The massage was not even a massage! It wasn't hard enough to relax my muscles! She did not want to cut my toe nails. I asked for a French pedi & she talked me into solid polish instead, that is just not what I wanted! Wife and I went in yesterday. We have Been past customers. We bot got a mani and pedi Wife's pedi was marginal left her big toe with a wite spot spot on it with her polish being vivid red. Her mani was worse. Like maybe they had never done one before. She had nail hanging where it wasent cut we'll and mine were worse. I have one nail that started bleeding and didn't touch two fingers with cuticle anything I could have done better at home. My girl just seemed like she didn't have a clue. I wouldn't go ther again. The lady that did my nails went from me to another girl. She did not make sure the the acrylic what not on my skin. My nail polish started to chip off the first day I had them done. Also the lady that did my nails seemed to be mad and kept on changing to nail price and me they said that it would be $25 to get the regular acrylic nails with out the French tips and then she said it would be $32 for I don't know what. She never made eye contact the whole time and ran back and forth from doing a design on a toe on someone else and my daughters nails. Asked for the nails to be shorter but Milia didn't acknowledge so I said it to her...she cut me off quickly and said as nasty as ever that she wasn't finished. Needless to say no other conversation took place but she did speak when she told my daughter to go to the drier . NEVER will we return!! We went this time because of a gift certificate.
