Had never been to this location before and got a new set not even two days later I had the pinky note pop off three days later my rink finger on my left hand popped off now today my right hand ring finger popped off and they aren't breaking. They are just popping off from the nail bed to the tip off. Now I'm seeing lifting in my left index finger absolutely ridiculous. This place seriously needs to reevaluate how they do things. also, I hate that I have to only give a one star review because the lady that paints and does the drying was absolutely amazing and their staff are friendly. Just their is pitiful. read more

Gorgeous Nails - The missing now and on the other hand, they are being held on by gorilla glue laugh my asoff I should never have to do that with a fresh set - Nail Salons Near Me - New Albany, Indiana

I was on a time crushed. Originally I was just gonna get a full set and came back later for a pedi. But the lady said they would do both at the same time. So I had one lady doing my pedicure and the other was doing my nails. Awesome teamwork. read more

I went in to get a full set and a pedicure! My pedicure was good! My full set however was the worst service I had ever receive. First it took 2.5 hours just for my nails. I wanted long nails, yet these you couldn't even see the tips looking at my palm. I had to say not get the design I wanted because they were so short. I made it very obvious that this was not what I asked for but had to pay the same price. The next day my nail was broke and my one of my toes had no polish. A week later and I have an infection in my big toe. To say the least I do not recommend this place to anyone, bad service all around!! read more

I just wanted a manicure. Take gel polish off and trim back, clean cuticles and that's it. I didn't even need polish. Worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. WORST! I left with a bleeding cuticle, getting cut happens but no acknowledgment or spray with alcohol . NOPE! oh and that is after they wanted me to soak my polish off in a used bowl. She literally dumped the used acetone that had acrylic residue in it into a bigger bowl of used acetone (?) and poured more acetone in the emptied bowl and said soak. worst nail experience ever. 30 plus years of having my nails done. So awful read more

This nail salon used to be great, but not more. I had a pedicure done by Chi. This is the most rude staff you can find. She is rough with your feet. The last time she did my toes, she embarrassed me in front of another client. She told me that I should pay double for the pedicure beause she worke so hard in my feet. Also, when I went to pay, she said that I should give double tip. I always leave $10 tip for a pedicure. I am not a cheap person but with her rudeness and her attitude she deserve nothing. When she saw that I didn't gave nothing extra, she told me that the next time get somebody else because she would not do my feet. She is very greedy person. As soon she she a new costumer coming in, she stars rushing to get the new client. She doesn't care if she hurts or cut your toes. Stay away from CHI she doesn't know what costumer service is and she doesn't have respect for the clients. CHI is the worse of the worse read more

Love my nails!! I was a walk in and they pretty much took me in right away. I got a pedicure and the massage chairs were really good and the pedicure was very thorough. I changed my mind from getting regular polish to gel polish and I was instructed to sit and wait for the nail tech already working on someone's nails. I waited about 20 mins for him to finally come to me to do a gel manicure. Another customer walked in and the guy who did my pedicure started working on hers and she was a walk in. She wanted a gel polish change. Idk if he was taking a break or what but I just sat for 20 mins. Anyways the nail tech working on my hands was very nice and efficient, and I am very happy with my nails. I'll def check them out again when I'm in the area read more

I haven't been here in awhile due to the wait. Like others you walk in and they seat you at the pedi area and then you wait 30 minutes to an hour. But for the prices, they can't be beat. I get a regular pedi and gel mani and they look great. Plus they upgraded the massage chairs and bowls, very chic looking. read more

Service was great! Prices were great! Vibe was great! We got 3 pedicures and nails done. They killed it

They say they take appts., however it's really not true. You will have to wait. After the wait, prices are reasonable and staff is good.

WORST nail experience I've had! The lady was rude and rough the whole time. Horrible attitude and rushed the WHOLE time. She even made a comment for me to "watch tv" so I wouldn't be tense and watching her but I was scared she was going to knick me again from how fast she was going. It was the most uncomfortable, unprofessional nail experience ever and that lady SHOULD not be doing nails on anyone! I will NOT be returning here! read more

Solid spot. Be careful if new or walk-in bc they'll quote you $50 for m/p but then charge you $63 at checkout b/c "you got the special"... even though the price chart says $49. Nice old-er lady but worked me on price at check out and didn't even say thank you after giving $5 tip on top of the "special". Prob won't go back. read more

I've been staring at my current dip manicure for a week, and I have been pissed about it the entire time. Yes, I probably should've went back and complained and had them redo it but honestly I just haven't had time and I'm not sure they are capable to do better. The dip is thick, not smooth and globby looking. I will not be going back and do not recommend this place for dip nails. read more

People are nice here, but their lack of training and staff issues plague them. I came in 3 weeks ago for a natural manicure and pedicure. Know that unless they are gluing gobs of plastic onto your body, they don't know what they are doing. (I can't speak to how well they do the fake nails, as I don't participate). I can speak to the fact that the guy I had (young man who seemed to be new) is not good at natural nails. He used a power tool - with CLEARLY the wrong tip - to remove one single coat of nail polish and cuticles from my natural nails versus taking the time to use polish remover and a manual cuticle tool. In the process he destroyed my nailbed and for the next 6-8 weeks I will be growing out the mess he made. My nails were sanded so thin that they rip right off the end of my finger when any length grows. Note the shiny part (that was sanded) and the healthy nail behind it. I'll never go back. Too many other options. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Please. They rush, the work was absolutely horrendous, and they do not clean their tools. RUN RUN RUN read more

Absolutely horrible service. I arrived and was told it would be "very soon" when someone would get to me. I sat for an hour and forty-five minutes. They told me over 10x "it will be very soon". They could have told me to come back at a certain time so I wasn't waisting my entire afternoon. Very disrespectful of my time and the 5 others waiting as well. read more

The WORST!!! nail salon I have EVER experienced. So unprofessional. We waited for 2 solid hours for my 10 year-old niece to get a simple manicure, while several people who arrived well after she did had manicures/pedicures before she had her nails done. We will never patronize this facility again and I would NEVER endorse this salon for anyone to visit. I will contacting the owner and Better Business Bureau as a result of our experience. Going to Gorgeous Nails on New Albany is the biggest waste of time a person can spend...once again...THE WORST!! Gene H. read more

I've been going here for year, most recently they have had terrible service. I waited almost 3 hours for a fill in and received this terrible paint job and my right ring finger nail had to be replaced. Well it was put on crooked. When I tried to explain to them why I was not happy they tried to make it seem like my fault. Me nor my friends will ever go back and if you go there try not to get James. He has an extremely bad attitude and will get really rough and hurt you "unintentionally". I will have to go back to get my nails taken off because my nails are so damaged no other salon wants to touch them till I get my nails off. After they take these off I will not be back and DO NOT recommend this place. read more

Most of the time , they are great , had a appointment on Sunday at 9am the guy , showed up 43 minutes later . You want Clientele you have to be on time . I love the job they do on my nails . Had an appointment at 2 pm with me and my sister, got there and we were told to sit, but it took them an hour to actually get to us and start our nails (they started on my sister 15 minutes after me since she wasn't getting fill ins). Went for a fill in and a change in color. Lady used the dermal hard on my nails making them sore and etching one open. Then she hit my skin with it and cut it open. Requested dipped nails and she put gel on them. Bumps, uneven, air pockets everything in my nails. She didn't even get all the way to the edges like I asked her multiple times. I don't recommend at all. Poor service, inexperienced technicians and expensive prices! read more

I've visited this location several times and they never disappoint! As someone that has had bad experiences in a nail salon it's really great to find one that always delivers the same great results! The service is good, as a perpetual walk in customer, and they're quick. If you're ever in the area and need a quick mani, pedi or fill in visit here! read more

Ok so I am officially addicted to gel nails! Like seriously if you have never tried them before you don't know the expense your missing out on. It's getting a manicure but actually having it last for more than 2 days and gel nails are your own nails but feel like acrylic. This place does a great job and had very competitive pricing. Normally gel nails cost $25-30 but it's only $20 here and they do an excellent job. Plus walk ins are welcome! read more

Gorgeous Nails - Love my new nail design. Only $3 extra! - Nail Salons Near Me - New Albany, Indiana

This is my favorite place for a pedicure in southern Indiana. Like all nail salons these days they are obsessed with UV gel polish for your finger nails but outside of that it is perfectly pleasant. They also have the cutest child sized pedi chairs. read more

The first week I moved to New Albany I stopped by this business for a basic manicure. I can't have long nails because of the instruments I play, but I like spoiling myself here and there. I had my nails clipped, filed, and painted. I found it interesting that they lotion up and massage your hands as well, as I've never experienced this at other nail salons. Overall a great place, the workers were friendly enough, and it isn't super expensive. I'm sure I'll be back! read more

My experience with Gorgeous nails was AWFUL! First of all, I was there for more than two hours and I only wanted a gel fill-in. The nail technician who was doing my nails named was Billy. He did my nails wrong the first time. He did not use the gel polish; instead, he used regular polish. I don't even know why he did not look on the sign-in sheet of paper and see what service I wanted. To me, that is so unprofessional. Also, he kept having to stop doing my nails and turn on the water for a customer who wanted a pedicure or to let a customer soaked off her acrylic nails. I think he should of just sit down and did my nails and I probably would have been finished a long time ago! Overall, I would not recommend anyone to go to this nail salon. read more

Gorgeous Nails is my go-to place! I have had wonderful experiences getting several manicures and pedicures there. When I am super impressed with a certain member of the staff, I always be sure to write down his/her name in my notes. This place was AWFUL. The nail tech I had got on her phone several times in the middle of me getting my nails done as she also knew we were in a hurry. Not only that but I had 3 nails come off the very next day. The shape was awful. I will never go back again! read more

I had been going to Gorgeous Nails for several years. I even drove 1 hour to get there because I loved them, but.......The last few times, no matter what technician I had, within a week my powder dip was breaking. They will repair it for free but I do not have the time to keep running in there to have them repair my nails that should quite honestly last at least 3 weeks. I know this, because I have been to a few other nail salons in the last few months and have had no issues. I honestly think they are using older polish and not applying it thick enough. I sure hated to leave them, because as I said, they used to do a really nice job, but I will not be back. read more

I was really happy with my recent experience at Gorgeous nails. I got a shellac manicure a week ago and it still looks brand new. The salon is beautiful and the technicians were polite. It was a busy Friday where I would have expected a long wait but they were properly staffed so that wasn't a problem. Normally I hate going to salons during a busy time because they tend to rush through doing my nails but that wasn't a problem here. Also it was only $23 for my old gel polish to be removed and for the new manicure which was awesome! read more

Do NOT go here.... Been going here for awhile now and seeing Helen. She was rude this evening by saying I would notice she pushed my cuticles back if I hadn't talked so much...excuse me?? Not only that, my shellac has been coming off before the 2 weeks. They are always in a rush, your service is fast, rushed and they do not take their time and do quality work. Haste makes waste. I will not go back their again. Onto another nice, affordable, professional nail spa in my area. You pay for a service, not for it to be rushed and then told that you talk too much because I asked her to push my cuticles back...her comment and unwillingness to slow down just cost them a loyal customer. Prices are very reasonable compared to others, although, I have learned, you get what you pay for so go figure. Pedicures are bad as well too. read more

I have been coming here for years. It is the only salon I go to. Very professional and they always do a great job. Every time we go we are greeted with a smile and good conversation. I highly recommend them and Helen does the best designs. She will do custom designs too just tell her what you want or show her a picture. Great place, highly recommend. read more

Don't go here!! My pedicure lasted *maybe* 20 min at most and felt rushed the entire time. On top of that, the nail tech kept pushing for upgrades nonstop. It wasn't relaxing at all because of her speediness and pushing for upgrades. She asked me to do a hot stone upgrade, I said no. She asked me to do a manicure, I said no just a pedicure. Then she asked if she could at least do a polish change so my fingers matched my toes. When I said no, she said "too bad that'd look better". So rude. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. read more

Beautiful nail salon. When I walked through the doors I was amazed how beautiful the shop was decorated. The service is good as well. Although I thought it was a little weird when I asked for nail tech name and he replied with his station number. I never knew it was a secret to give your name to potential clients. After 16 years of consistently getting my nails done that was a first. Beside that, I would come back simply because it seems like they are the best around. read more

They always do a great job on my manicures and pedicures. Very clean salon and cheaper than a lot of places in the area. The polish lasts so much longer than other places and Shellac lasts 4+ weeks. My go-to nail salon! read more

Wow. In 15 years of getting my nails done this is the worst experience. First I had made an appointment just to sit there for almost an hour being told it was "just a couple more minutes " every time I would ask how much longer. Then when it was FINALLY time, he goes in the back for another 20. I had to ask another worker if the tech had forgotten. He reluctantly came out and seemed annoyed I had asked someone to get him. When my service started he stayed on the phone talking to his wife. The best part about that was he turned the screen towards me for me to say hello? I don't know these people. He took an HOUR AND A HALF to do a full set! Total time spent at this place was TWO HOURS AND 45 MINUTES!!! My nails were okay at best leaving. Shortly after 4 broke off. I'm not going to touch on cleanliness much, because I don't want to write a novel. Let's just leave it at it's absolutely filthy. If you want me to be nauseous use their bathroom. Please please avoid this place at all costs read more
