My daughter was involved in a car accident the week of her high school graduation, leaving us scrambling to find a replacement vehicle at the worst possible time. We drove from North County to East County to South Bay searching for the right car and what immediately stood out about M&M Motors was the quality and cleanliness of their inventory compared to other dealerships we visited. My daughter had her eye on a Volkswagen at Manny's on her first visit but unfortunately it sold before she could return. She then set her sights on another vehicle and when the timing of her insurance settlement made it difficult to purchase immediately, Manny graciously held the car for her until she was ready. That kind of integrity is rare and it meant everything to us. After losing out on vehicles at two other dealerships during this process, it was such a relief to work with people we could genuinely trust. Manny and Jim treated my daughter with warmth, honesty and patience from start to finish. If you are in the market for a quality used vehicle look no further than M&M Motors. These are good people doing honest business and we could not recommend them more highly.

I accompanied a friend to CBM Motors as she was shopping for a replacement vehicle after being…read moreinvolved in a collision. We identified a 2018 Jeep Wrangler on the lot that met her needs, and the process that followed was, for the most part, straightforward and professional. The initial sales representative was knowledgeable and patient, answering questions clearly and giving us space to evaluate the vehicle. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to meet the price point we were targeting, and we were prepared to walk away from the deal. At that point, the sales manager, Osama, stepped in and made a meaningful difference. He worked with us to bring the price into a range that made sense, and, importantly, he ensured a few outstanding items were addressed before delivery. The vehicle was properly aligned, and a trunk latch bar was repaired prior to pickup the following day. That attention to detail and follow-through was appreciated and helped make the transaction feel fair and complete. Overall, the buying process was easy and mostly professional, in line with what you'd expect from a smaller, independent dealership. That said, the reason this isn't a five-star review comes down to a single but important moment. After declining the first offer and stepping into the manager's office, we overheard the initial salesperson, along with another salesperson on the floor, speaking negatively about my friend and me regarding the failed negotiation. They were unaware we could still hear the conversation. While unfortunate, it was also unnecessary and unprofessional. Aside from that incident, the experience was acceptable. The inventory is limited (roughly 30 vehicles on the lot), so selection may not suit everyone, but pricing flexibility and management involvement were definite positives. In summary: a generally solid dealership experience with good managerial support, slightly undermined by an avoidable lapse in professionalism on the sales floor.

Above i mentioned there were lots of dealers from my city to theirs, like Future Auto Sales, and Fas4Cars. They had the same car but older (2010) and they LIED, BULLSHITTED, IGNORED, AND FUCKED me around and even said we had an approval when there was none to be had, FUCKERS anyway. I have seen the reviews here, both good and bad, Please remember that you are buying USED CARS that are bound to have problems, THEY ARE NOT NEW CARS PEOPLE, but at least in my experience, Aaron told me the car was bought new in Arizona and then here in San Diego. Not even 2-weeks after purchase. Contacted Import Auto Outlet, said they could help. After many emails the dealer said he could refund me $300 for a $3,000 repair. His "mechanic" is only ASE certified. Unfortunately luxury cars need specialist for specific torque pressures and so on. They could not provide me with any credentials that this mechanic had a certificate to work on Audi. Long story short after $4,000 bringing her in for repair here it is (I will attach pictures as well): - car was missing a crankshaft bolt!! (which is the central part of a car "heart", which is the timing of the cars engine) which Audi told me that it may not be the same if i were to fix- haven't fixed yet it costs too much. ($3,000+) - the pulley tensor will soon need to be replaced ($1,000+) - the car needed a NEW STARTER! (paid $3,000) - the water pump had a lot of corrosion and was leaking (paid $1,000) - they over filled the oil I would suggest selling your cars at the value they are worth, this car was in FAIR condition and should have been sold much cheaper. If you have a general ASE certified mechanic working on these luxury cars, that a big NO get someone certified in the car needing a repair. A lot of professional shops turned me down and could not work on this luxury car.

I'll probably spend more time taking it through the drive-thru car wash. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything extra either. Even though I initially didn't want the warranty, Isaac answered all my questions and I ended up getting it because it made sense for me and gave me peace of mind for the next five years--not because anyone pressured me into it. They even helped get my rate down a little, which I really appreciated. And most importantly, I LOVE my new car!! I'm so happy with my choice and with the whole experience. I drove away excited about my new car instead of exhausted from buying one. Highly recommend AutoCity! Great people, zero pressure and such an easy experience!

While we liked it overall, we felt the price was a little high based on its cosmetic condition, so we decided to keep looking. A few days later, the salesperson contacted me and asked what price I was looking for. After discussing numbers, he texted me an out-the-door price that worked for me if I came back the next day. I made one final counteroffer, which he said the owner declined. I responded that we would still come the next day, and he replied, "I'll be here." At no point did he tell me that the previously discussed out-the-door price was no longer available. My son and I drove approximately three hours back to the dealership expecting to purchase the vehicle. After we arrived, we were told the owner would not honor the previously discussed price and that the dealership was sticking to the advertised price. We immediately left. The issue wasn't that my final counteroffer wasn't accepted. The issue was that we drove six hours round trip based on what we reasonably believed was an agreed-upon price, only to find out after arriving that it would not be honored. I understand that negotiations don't always end in a sale, and I don't expect every offer to be accepted. However, I do expect clear communication and respect for a customer's time. Had the dealership simply told me before I made the drive that the original offer was no longer available, I never would have made the trip. If you're traveling from out of town, I strongly recommend getting a written buyer's order or purchase agreement approved by management before making the drive. It could save you hours of driving and a great deal of frustration.

I would have saved myself money and heartache. This is my story. I have been shopping for a used car for a long time because I want to avoid the monthly payment that comes with a brand-new car. There is a HUGE CATCH: I know nothing about cars. And I don't know where to start. I have been lost in the used-car-shopping desert for over 40 days. A friend of mine [Hadi's neighbor] told me about Hadi, who agreed to do a pre-sale inspection. However, through a series of miscommunication and mis-expectation between this particular friend and me, I ended up buying, not from Hadi, but a questionable third-party seller. Hadi went out of his way to make sure this transaction works out for me. Please note -- he is not the seller! He did every task conceivable for me -- who knows nothing about the car buying and registration process!! Most mechanics in SD see a car with a weird noise, a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, or something that's been Frankenstein-ed together from three different continents, and they immediately hit the panic button: "Nah, too complicated, take it to the dealer," or "That's gonna cost you an arm, a leg, and your firstborn." They run faster than you do when someone yells "free In-N-Out." But Paykan Auto? These legends look at that same nightmare job--the timing belt on a 20-year-old import that's been babied by someone who thinks "maintenance" means prayer, the transmission that's been slipping since the Obama administration, the electrical gremlins that make your car randomly play polka music--and they just crack their knuckles and say, "Challenge accepted." They've been fixing cars (and selling solid used ones) at 5486 El Cajon Blvd for years, with reviews screaming honesty, fair prices, and straight-up wizardry. One person literally said their family has used them as mechanics for 15+ years while buying multiple cars there. Another called Hadi and the crew "THE BEST!!!!" They tackle the stuff that makes other shops sweat: weird European mods, beat-up daily drivers on their last legs, you name it. It's like if Jack Reacher was a mechanic--quiet, no BS, gets the job done right, and leaves you wondering why everyone else is so scared of hard work. You roll in thinking your car's doomed, you roll out thinking, "Wait, that was actually affordable AND it drives better than when I bought it?" Truth bomb: In a city full of mechanics who ghost you harder than a bad Tinder date, Paykan Auto is the rare shop that doesn't flinch. They handle the repairs everyone else runs from... and they do it with a smile, fair pricing, and zero drama. If your car's throwing a tantrum that would make a toddler jealous, take it to Paykan. Just don't blame me when you become one of those people who starts every story with, "These guys at Paykan fixed my [insert horror story here] like it was nothing." (Pro tip: Call ahead--Hadi and the team are busy saving San Diego's sanity one scary repair at a time.)
