I came in today to help a friend with finding her prom dress (I've already found mine). Though we…read moredidn't find THE dress, it's a good store to consider when looking for prom dresses. The lady working there was very nice, she let us look on our own and was always there to help you clip up your dress if you needed to which is especially nice since some boutiques have the workers breathing down your neck. The place is really clean, you have to leave your shoes at the door and there's a little basket of slippers underneath one of the chairs for you to use. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands. Seriously, though, their selection of scarves and hair clips and headbands and scrunchies and hair ties is out of this world. And their prices are super reasonable. My friend and I each got a gorgeous scarf (they have lots of sales where, if you purchase 2 items, the price per item is less than if you just purchased one). The jewelry selection is also huge, but everything was dainty and Uber-feminine. (I prefer bolder and more modern jewelry, so none of the earrings or rings really appealed to me. But I can see, if one likes more delicate jewelry, there'd be lots here that you'd like). They also had some nice wallets and totes and handbags. Great for one time costume use but otherwise, I wouldn't suggest spending your money on them. Service is also disappointing. Every time I wandered in, there was a customer trying to return or exchange a product that turned bad or proved to be poor quality. And instead of it being a simple "Of course, let me help you with this", it was a long conversation where the staff would get a bit defensive or do the "I need to call someone" thing. It just gives you the feeling that you should shop like it's all final sale.. I'm not really sure if there's a return/exchange policy though. Really, I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you need quality jewelry. You're not going to get good quality jewelry or accessories. If you ordered cheap ones off AliExpress or something, you'll probably receive the same quality. Plus it was honestly the cheapest price ($180) I found as I was quoted $200 - 300 at other stores & the designs were much plainer and def. not as fitted. Great customer service and always friendly. They also do custom designs. I took a look around and it's not the best material so you pay for what you get. BM dresses range from $130 + (alterations included). Longer dresses are $30 more. I did see a beautiful satin evening dress by the window w/ very nice material but did not enquire the price. Phoebe's also has wedding dress rental (for purchase as well), prom, evening gowns, etc. They also have special packages where you can rent a kwa, bridal gown & evening gown. I give a 4 star for the kwa rental but if I had to custom make smth here... the star might be lower. Tip: take a photo of the kwa you will be renting (when you pay for the full rental fee) so u know u'll be getting the correct one.

I asked him what size does the gown come in and he just told me flat out that we don't have your size. Excuse me?? What? You don't have size M but only size 0 for all your dresses? His arrogant responses didn't stop there. I then asked him how much does the gowns cost and he said over $100 and got rude with me when I asked him for the exact price. The owner made me feel like I'm too big for his gowns (I'm size 4) and I can't afford them and he doesn't have time for me when there was absolutely no traffic in this run down mall. The gowns in this place are made very small and really overpriced compared to online retailers and David's Bridal, and honestly their gowns are really outdated in terms of style. Do not go to this store unless you enjoy being insulted or offended. FYI: I went into this store because I wanted to check out their gowns for my friend who is going to get married soon. But with this bad experience I've already told her don't waste her time going to this store, and I will tell all my friends who are getting married not to visit this store because I don't want anyone else to be ashamed and insulted by this rude store owner.

Saks OFF 5th just opened recently at Markville Mall taking over the upper floor of Sears…read more Parking is really convenient as there are ample parking space just outside their front door. The store is small and compact compares to other Saks Off 5th I had been to. Selection obviously is smaller but at least everything is well organized and stocked. Price wise always best during end of seasons sale. I would not be buying anything till then. I am not even comparing to the US pricing.
