I ordered off of the UO app and my order was ready for pick up within 1 hour after placing it!!! was extremely thrilled! The process is thorough, which I believe is a plus to ensure that items are delivered to their rightful owners. Upon arrival, you indicate so on your confirmation email - this will redirect you to a form that you must fill out so that the UO workers can identify you. There isss curbside pickup, but the pickup location is actually in the mall @ the 2nd floor entrance. I was greeted by a friendly worker who was wearing a mask and handed off my order to me. She did however ask for my full name associated with the purchase, again, thorough but no complaints here. Quick and easy experience overall! read more

Made a quick stop at UA in search for a gift for a friend. Glad I did. Urban outfitters is pretty hit and miss for me. Some clothing items are cool, some just try to be; All are overpriced. So I generally steer clear of anything that isn't a trinket or accessory. Lucky for me I found lots of that. Think candles, jewelry snatches/boxes, quirky books/agendas, the mind of stuff that belongs on night tables and wall shelves. I got what I came for and definitely overpaid but some items were on sale so good overall haul. Minus one (crucial) star for several untagged items that led to price roulette at the counter (what do you mean it's "around $x"?) I RECOMMEND- checking out their scarves, shawls, and toques. Very cute this season. EXTRA TIP- if you can, avoid Alex at the upstairs cash. He's borderline rude and very impatient. read more

The customer service is usually a hit or miss for me here. Sometimes I get a 'hello', more often times than not, nothing at all lol.. But for the most part, they do leave you alone to browse. Although, half the time I can't even tell who works there because their "professional" uniform blends in with everyone else in that you're not sure if they're actually shopping there or if they work there? Not all, but some! In any case, I can find the younger staff to be more carefree when it comes to professionalism within the store - meaning, as I'm in the change room I can hear conversations about personal dilemma's; and complaints about customers. I WILL say, their playlists - depending on which one you find yourself immersed in once inside, can be pleasant when browsing around the store through their myriad of knickknacks. 3.5 Stars VIBE So there's a new location at Yonge and Eg. in the space where the HMV used to be. Great use of the space for what Urban Outfitters is --men's and women's apparel, shoes and decor items. It's still got the warehouse vibe and the staff are as plaid and spectacle framed as can be. Sale section can be a bit tricky to find on the bottom level but the shoe section has it's own little corner on the upper level past this corner of stairs. Some cool finds there. THE GOODS They've got some nice shorts (can you tell I need shorts). The bags and bedding are cool too. But as Monica mentioned it's a bit overpriced for what it is. I need to gravitate for an item before I buy it. Sometimes, it's hit and miss. But again, love the layout and it's a much more enjoyable shopping experience than the crowded one on Yonge St. OBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK Still urban but need outfitter prices. Nice addition to the Yonge/Eg area. There's only so much Mendencino and Jacob outlet that I can take! read more

Urban Outfitters is a new addition to the Yonge & Eglinton area. This is a two floored store that sells clothing for girls and guys, bedding, wall art, intimates, shoes, music, electronics, accessories such as jewellery, bags, belts and more. The bottom floor has all the stuff for men and upstairs they have the woman's floor. The girls section has been hectic every time I've been here. The store is pretty big, spacious, has a rustic look to it, and can get crowded quick by zealous shoppers. Also, I've experienced long slow lines at the cash and changing rooms. I have a love and hate relationship with the merchandise here. The clothes are trendy and nice with a bohemian grunge style, but everything is way too overpriced for what it is. For example, you can find a simple summer dress here for around $70; I think that's way too much, especially when you can find something very similar at H&M or Forever21 for way less. The quality of the clothes at Urban Outfitters is a hit or miss; some items look durable and others have weak seams. The staff working here is friendly but it's not easy to find them when you need assistance. I've found myself walking around plenty of times looking for someone to help me but gave up when I realized I was starting to resemble a dog twirling, chasing its own tail. Overall, Urban Outfitters has pretty cool novelty items, clothing for guys and girls, and stuff for your home for insane prices. Also, you may experience a zoo here, especially in the girl's section. I'll come back here when items are on sale so I don't feel ripped off. read more

Not a big fan of their clothes (especially the price tag on them), but I do enjoy walking around the store browsing at odd items like the moustache cup or a book on how to waste my time efficiently. Urban Outfitter seems like the ideal place to buy something quirky for a friend. The book section is outrageously funny. I'm also a fan of their graphic tees, but sadly they don't have the same designs for women. I don't browse much in the shoe section, but maybe I ought to try something on. The shoes all look very rigid and uncomfortable... but that's just based on my own assumption. This store just opened at the Yonge/Eglinton Centre, right above PJ Pets and beside Indigo. It's conveniently located, and perfect for a stroll during a lunch break for people who sit in the office all day! read more

Love their clothes! I recieved clothes that I've ordered from their website, one of the pants turned out too small, so I went to this location to refund it. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful!also, this location is really spacious, I especially love the shoe section where you can see Yonge Street from the window. I enjoy coming to this store to browse and see what new offerings there are. However, after the last visit I makes me question some of the staff that they hire. Do they understand what customer service is? Because it is definitely not mumbling things under their breath in front of a buying customer. OR is it being rude to them over a unsigned SPC card. It was a very rude experience that ticked me off. It was absolutely uncalled for, only because I questioned her? I was cashing out and I gave her my SPC card and she gave it back to me with a pen asking me to sign it, in which I asked "Why?" I did not see it as a big deal, and I have been using my card for all over the year and also at this UO location before - was always taken with no questions asked. She then replied "We only take signed cards" Okay I'm starting to sense a mild case of power tripping. Alright I'll sign it. As I sign the card, I can hear her mumble loud enough and intentionally for me to hear "I don't understand how hard it is to sign a card" in a very rude tone. Note that she is still in front of me blatantly mumbling this. So the fact that I didn't sign my card means that it is okay for your sales associate to be rude to a buying customer over something so small? It is baffling how this sales associate is still working there or even has a job in customer service because I can say she knows absolutely no peoples skills whatsoever. Better start some training workshops to teach your workers how to know when and where it is appropriate to say things. Or just teach them to keep their mouth shut in front of a customer when you have a rude comment to make. Not impressed. read more

This store is one of my love to hate kind of stores to shop at, it is great when everything is on sale and you get amazing deals, and terrible for when it is at regular price, the clothes can be hit or miss interns of there durability. Always buy one size bigger, everything shrinks in the wash it seems. Great place to pick up unique pieces. read more

Sometimes I cut through here on my way to the Eglinton Subway Station. There is a nice solid wooden staircase and the ambience is dark and soothing. The doors to the outside of this store are the heaviest in existence. On a windy day you can sprain a muscle hefting them open. read more

Went here a while ago, NOBODY on the staff said hello to me or ANYTHING at all to me. Walked around the floor for a good 7 minutes too...Not sure if they're prejudiced against darker skinned people but whatever their issue is it needs to be resolved fast. Also, the staff is very rude, especially the staff that work at the fitting rooms. I went to Urban Outfitters at Yonge and Eg last week to do some Christmas shopping and while there are some outrageously adorable gift items, the staff are unfriendly and have a huge attitude. Shop from the UO website instead; you'll still pay an arm and a leg for the merch, but no one will act like they're doing you a favour by taking your money. read more
