This would be considered as one of the flagship stores, it has two levels. The store is located on the top floor of Eaton Centre facing Yonge and Dundas. They had some kids clothing on sale but only small sizes left. Ended up purchasing a sweater that was on sale.

The best location in GTA because it has the largest connection of UT t-shirt collab collections! There's a customization bar too which is a wonderful gift idea. The bar also features art prints by local artists (currently included Jeannie Phan) and are only special editions available in Toronto. This two-storey flagship store of this Japanese retailer has great products in a range of colours. Love their children's styles too! I love buying gifts for my niece and nephews here!

If you want basics, this place has you covered. I love that they have lots of different colors for the same shirt because sometimes it's nice to be able to buy a shirt you absolutely love in 3 different colours. They also have tons of them so you will most likely find your size unless the piece is highly in demand. Another good thing about this is that once you know your size in the shirt model you like, you can just pick it up in the same size without trying it on. Most of their items are very cheap and very office/preppy friendly but they also have pyjamas and lougewear that is so soft and comfortable. When I went they were having a sale on most of their athletic wear (13$ for tank tops, shirts, shorts) and for the quality it truly is a steal. I just love the style they are going for. I don't usually reach for patterns and Uniqlo sticks to basic neutral colors with some flashy colours once in a while to mix it up. It's perfect to build your wardrobe. This location is gorgeous! So well lit, well stocked, clean, and big! Everything is laid out beautifully so you won't have trouble finding what you want. I wanted to buy the entire store TBH, The staff is also super nice and friendly. They even give you a basket when you enter, they know you'll be trying on a LOT of stuff. When I told my boyfriend that this is the only store we had to visit in Toronto to make our trip worthwhile, he was skeptical. He didn't believe me when I said this store was the bomb.com. He quickly realized that I was right, the store is awesome, and he ended up buying more than me! We need one of these in Montréal ASAP!

Nice Uniqlo with helpful staff. It's always busy being on the first floor of the Eaton Center so we don't go as often, but they have a variety of products on two different floors and they carry the newer designs. One downside of this place is that because there's so many people, the fitting room always has a line. :/

Pretty, nice, preppy clothes. Conservative, trendy, great price points. No plus sizes xsm to XL. Lots of people working. Tidy and organised. They have an alternation service here. Cool! A pleasure to shop there

Not knowing what to expect when the signs went up for this store I was briefed that it is a Japanese store which is expanding worldwide. Thankfully the mad rush had worn out but there were still remnants of chaos that had ensued before. A tapped off entrance (and exit) with security. As for clothing hmm not sure what to say I guess it again falls on personal tastes I didn't like what I saw here and the craftsmanship didn't impress me. Denim items fared a bit better I guess but I have made peace with one designer for denim and just stick to it for that brand. Reasonable prices for winter clothing IMO. Its nice to see another international brand cropping up here (Japanese chic is always cool in my book) as it provides one with another option to the mundane stores that are pretty much represented at every mall.

Uniqlo. It's been here a while? Honestly I never noticed. I never noticed because while Nordstrom was working on taking over the old Sears space I had forgotten about that corner of Yonge and Dundas. Back in the day (way back) this area where Uniqlo is now used to be a Cineplex which had like what... a dozen theaters? Some were tiny, the size of a large living room with screens the size that you'd probably see in boardrooms today but that's all gone. Now we have this big open Uniqlo at one of the seemingly busiest corners in the city. Lots of clothes here, lots and lots. This place is dense, vertical, open and on multiple levels as well. The foot print almost seemed similar to the Uniqlo I just visited at Disney Springs in Orlando. There's no "stock market ticker" at the Toronto store however. I noticed there's a lot less tourist stuff as well. Uniqlo's offerings to me are sort of like an Old Navy/Gap but with less casual wear and what I mean by that is bumming around the house kind of clothes. You know, the kind of stuff that you'd paint in not necessarily caring if it got dirty or hoodies your kids will grow out of as fast perhaps. Variety yes, socks? They've got those as well as tops and bottoms and perhaps enough to go around different seasons as well. It's not all the same but the style has sort of a theme and if I had to say what that is I'd say it's just simply simple. Non flashy, economical, decent clothes. While they may have what could be considered a simplicity like what Muji has, they're not flashy as say some of what Superdry has with the exception of graphic T's. While they had a little section for local vendors (partners?) in Toronto the section exists but it's not overwhelming by any means. Still, it's nice to have that sort of promotion for local businesses as well in what could be considered a big box clothing store.

I was ecstatic when I heard Uniqlo will be opening up in Toronto. I have been a huge fan of this Japanese retailer when I first visited a store in Sapporo, Japan during my vacation. Of course, I had to visit the store on their opening day and I expected a line because anything new that opens in Toronto gets a little hyped up. On the first day, I waited around 5 minutes in line just to get in the store. The employees were extremely busy as many were running around. The store itself was pretty big and I liked the layout too being two floors. The design is the same for any uniqlo store in the world. I have not seen this many people in a Uniqlo store before. They had the products that were advertised in their look book from parkas, flannels, heattech, blocktech, jeans, etc. I was sad that they didn't have any UTs or more work out clothing since they were promoting their winter products. They had impressive amount of stock. Fitting rooms and cashier lineups were super long. They had enough employees though to handle these lines effectively. However, it does get hot in the store because of the numerous amounts of lighting as I was sweating wearing my jacket. Why am I a fan of Uniqlo? I am a true believer of their heattech technology as it works. I've worn heattech for almost more than 5 years and I've been warm during -40 celsius weather. I've recently went on a trip where it was very windy while wearing blocktech and it works. They also have a neat little corner called "Uniqlo meets Toronto" where they collab with local Canadian business. Nowadays, there is no lineup and the hype has died down. Pricing is fair and affordable. They usually change up their sale specials every Thursday. I definitely recommend you to check this brand out.

Good fit and good texture for $40 reg, $30 on sale

With a focus on being feminine, it doesn't fall into the trap of the instagram trendy fashion where you wear it one day and toss the next. I do love how this supports Canadian brands... 200% love it. I spotted Sara Duke, Birds of North America, and even Sloane Tea! They also have non Canadian brands but they're keeping in the same aesthetics and quality. So I find the stitching and fabrics a good step up from anything you'd find in the normal malls. I would say the overall look curated here is casual and relaxed with a pretty spin. So think loose dresses in light prints, flowy blouses, A line tank tops that keeps you cool, and comfy linen pants. Personally my preference didn't quite fit this look but I did enjoy perusing the racks in hopes of finding something. This particular store is not large so I had a hard time finding anything in my size even if I did find clothes that did catch my eye. I do appreciate how everything was nicely organized so I could look around without feeling claustrophobic or lost in a maze of racks. Service here was courteous and prompt. They did welcome everyone who walked in and that was a nice touch. For those who did need help, I could see them actively trying to find a new size or help bring over a new accessories to match the items they were trying. Overall, I'd love to support a Canadian store that offers quality items that are Canadian made. Totally thrilled with the idea. Maybe in another season I could find a casual and yet cute item there.
