Sadie and Ronaldo are both such talented stylists. I've watched the transformations each time I have been there!! ( including myself). I've searched forrverrrrr to find a salon I can commit to as my permanent place. I mean forever. My mom was an amazing hairstylist and the only one to touch my hair my entire life. Needless to say I'm very picky since losing her years ago. I also feel I have challenging hair to deal with. It takes an expert. I've had so many bad experiences with stylists who just don't have the experience and extensive training and talent that I was used to. Well.... The search is finally over. I went in on Valentine's Day to treat myself to new hair so I could feel good when going out that night. And W O W!!!! Sadie and Ronaldo have my hair looking better than it has in years. Not only did I leave feeling "good", I left feeling absolutely beautiful and it's been awhile since I've felt like that. It's been almost two weeks and I haven't been disappointed or found anything wrong with my hair. Sometimes you leave a salon happy but later realize your hair is damaged your cut is not so great. Nope. Not at Union Hair Co. My hair looks and feels as good as it did when I left the salon. My blonde is beautifully vibrant and has zero damage (thank you, Sadie) and my cut is absolute perfection as well (thank you Ronaldo). I know my mom is looking down smiling proudly that her baby girl found someone (well two people!) that knows what they're doing!!! Thank you both sooooo much! You've given me a confidence in myself that has been missing for a long time. People underestimate the difference hair makes in how you look and feel. Also, I must add I didn't have sticker shock or buyer's remorse after paying. The price was really reasonable and a great value. I actually had money left over to buy their in-house products they make themselves- which I might add are also amazing and a great value for the price. Added bonus: they let me know they had them but there was zero pressure to buy anything, unlike most salons. One more thing- I was in and out faster than I imagined. Not that they didn't take their time (I wasn't rushed or anything), but because they truly know what they're doing, whereas other places I've been took up my whole day trying to get my hair right. Oh- and the shampoo girl gave the most relaxing treatment when washing my color out. I nearly fell asleep.... Ultimately , as you can tell, I'm beyond satisfied in every way possible. This is a great salon! It was recommended to me but a neighbor and I gave it a shot. I'm so thankful for the recommendation. I've been going to Sadie for over a year now and am so happy with my hair every time. She is great with color and has a very good understanding of hair, what will work with different textures and thickness. She is fantastic! The Salon itself is very calming and posh at the same time, but not pretentious. It's always very clean and the products they use are high end. It is a nice escape from the busy world we live in. If I could give this review more stars, I would. I went in for the first time, boldly going for a cut and color. I was blown away by the quality of care and generosity they have for their customers, as well as the precision and attention that everyone has in all they do. Sadie listened to all my requests about the tint of my hair, and Chanel made sure I was comfortable all throughout my appointment. I had the most wonderful shampoo of my life, I almost fell asleep lol. Ronaldo was efficient and kind, giving me tips on how to style my hair the way I liked. This duo is the real deal. Beautiful shop, colorist is seriously good like probably has awards she's being modest about and not telling the world how amazingly gifted she is. Like Sue S., I am wondering why I haven't posted a review long ago. Ronaldo has been cutting my hair for over20 years, first at Vidal Sassoon, now at his salon on North Central. I drive from Ahwatukee to north central Phoenix for a haircut and do so happily. I'm often told I have "such good hair," and I always say i have very difficult hair (cowlicks, wavy here, straight there, etc.) but I have a great haircut. Sadie and Ronaldo are highly trained and have years of experience. I doubt there's a more talented team of hair stylists anywhere else in this city. read more

The owner cut my hair and completely ignored my request for a French bob. Instead I left looking like a Karen with a stacked a-line bob that I had to cut myself when I got home. So ugly. I have been going to Union Hair for over a year now and have been overly impressed with their technique, hospitality, skills, knowledge, and wonderful atmosphere. I really wanted to like this place. The stylist was very funny. The salon itself is beautiful, but I got another uneven haircut. This is my 3rd salon in Central Phoenix. I dont really want to put them on blast as I DO try to support local shops, but if I dont start leaving reviews, these salons will continue to collect $70 for a haircut I could have gotten at a chop shop. Wow! Sadie's husband is so rude! He has been rude to me several times and I just let it go. Not anymore. I got on with Sadie so well. The cuts were uneven but correctable longer on one side crooked in the front. One brow trimmed. Her husband needs to stay in the back and learn some manners. He could lose about 75. He's too short to be that fat unless he's going for the Danny DeVito. Danny has a better hair cut and that's bad for a person in the stylist biz. Go somewhere else. I don't like to trash a place but 3 times in a row gives me the right. He is rude to help too. He bumped an employee out of the way once and he puts his hand on them too. Ronaldo, owner, is soft spoken, down to earth, and a master in his craft. I described that I wanted a cut that is lively, and when I got home my husband said "wow your hair looks lively". First visit and haircut today. I have been in search of a hair salon that felt welcoming. I have found it. Sadie and Ronaldo, owners, are very congenial, fun and open. Sadie cut my hair and she took her time to understand my needs/wants. I have hair that was way too long (almost to my waist in the back) and needed to be cut. She did an excellent job of layering my hair and she cut my bangs, the best anyone has ever cut them. I asked for choppy, uneven, edgy. No one ever understands what I mean. Sadie did! YAY! Well, what a surprise to me! I just went to Union Hair, because Sadie knows how to make my hair look it's best--and Union Hair is gone! No note on door to tell me where to find them, just note that the gallery next door has taken the space---very sad! My hair is missing them! Next day....... After having such a rough start to my week, because I impulsively tried dyeing my own hair, I came to see Sadie and she easily told me what she could do to solve the problem. With my hair health in mind, the hair dresser treated my whole head with a new color and it came out looking great. DON'T try todo your own hair color at home, I could just have easily came to Union Hair first, without all my fellow peers making fun of my hair first. I just left this place an hour ago, feeling like a supermodel. I came in with an inch of grey roots and long hair - way overdue for cut and color. I left with exactly the color I wanted (this never happens to me, I almost always end up with too dark of a brown which is not flattering on me) and a cut that I absolutely love. The owners are extremely friendly, the location is convenient to my house, and I will definitely be back. The assistant did a great job rinsing my hair, taking care to remove color stains around my face and back of neck, even wiping behind my ears - if you've ever left a salon with hair color goop behind your ear, you'll know what I mean. What an amazing salon! I live in the UK and was visiting my family in the area. I'm so glad I found this place. I came into the salon desperately needing a change. From the front desk to the assistants to both of the stylists that I saw, my experience was fantastic. Ronaldo & Sadie really know how to wow their clients.
