I recently started going back to Great Clips. I kind of forgot about them for a while and was going to a more expensive place much further away. I'm glad I'm back. I get better haircuts there and it is much easier to check in. The other place added a check in that I found to be a hassle. This place has the Great Clips app which shows you the wait time so you can pass if the wait is long. By the way this location is pretty busy so the app. has been useful. I have not got a bad haircut here but I have settled on one stylist who cuts my hair the best. I did go to one farther away when this place was busy and I was disappointed with my cut. read more

My family and I go to this location on N Cave Creek Road to have our hair cut and styled. The ladies that work here are very nice and welcoming each time we come. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to the health of my hair, and what type of hair products would benefit my hair. I appreciate these ladies. The shop is always clean and neat. They offer online check in from the comfort of your home. It is convenient and cuts down on the amount time one might have to wait for a stylist. My family and I will continue to return to this location. They mailed us some coupons as well which are great and we are using. The manager and Erick were absolutely phenomenal people and artists. My sister and I went in and immediately felt welcome and at home. They were both real and hilarious. My hair is very damaged and I went in thinking the worst but Erick and the manager put my mind at ease and walked me through what we could do to keep my hair. I just had my hair cut at this store. A hairdresser there, Sandra, was to cut my hair. She was just plain rude. At first she said she had to get her station ready. She then, after delays, had me sit down and slapped a cape over me and snapped it too tightly. After that, she sprayed water all over, including my face and glasses. At that point she began cutting my hair. She was not paying attention. I realized this might be a disaster and said, "I can't do this." She stripped the cape off and walked away. They took him first, which was fine to me, he was there first. Then a woman came in with 3 teens. She was asked if she had checked-in online. She said she had not. They took one of the teens first. I have been bringing my son here on and off for the last year and a half. Last night was our last visit to Great Clips. My son was given a "haircut" by Crystal. I put hair cut in quotes because he was butchered! When he walked up to the front desk after his cut was complete, it was all I could do to smile at him. I was horrified at what was the worst looking cut I've ever seen!!! He looked like a bowl was put over his head and any hair below the bowl line was shaved off, including ALL of his side burns and then some! She shave off his sideburns and then shaved up even higher above his sideburn hair line which looks awful. In addition, she chopped pieces of his bangs off on each side of his head so he has gaps where he used to have hair. She then angled his hair on the side to slope down towards the back of his head. It was a complete disaster and there is no way to "fix" the cut because he has little left to work with. I don't know what she was thinking or how she in any way thought this cut was acceptable so I caution you to stay away from this place. We got a Cheap, Crappy haircut - W O W !!!!!!!!! read more

I had Charlot cut my hair here. I would not recommend having her cut yours. She did not understand a word that I was saying. No offense to her but I don't think she understands much English at all. My hair came out looking lopsided and not what I had asked for. She went off the notes she had in the system but honestly I would say just don't have her cut your hair. I never remember her name, but one lady always pushes their products and try's to upsell to the point of it being annoying. I know it's their job to try and sell the wash and all their products, but after I've said no multiple times in one visit...just stop. This last time she tried to sell me on the shampoo when I checked in and during the haircut twice.
