Tried to reserve a haircut on-line at 5:30. App said walk-ins only, so I proceeded to the salon. Walked in and was asked if I signed in on-line and I said it wouldn't let me. The lady without even looking at me or apologizing said I need to come back the next day since it was 20 minutes from closing time. What a waste of 20 minutes driving there! read more

Always went to Great Clips for Erick Nygryn and he is no longer there. He has moved to a salon off Union Hills and Tatum. Look him up on Facebook if you want his quality cuts and style. read more

Austin & Dayna did a great job ! My daughter went in for a at home cut correction with her bangs & they blended it so naturally.

I don't even know how to describe how bad this is. Ridiculous. Last time I went there I got home and found my neck was never trimmed and was longer than the hair on my head Customer service was awful. Wasn't greeted, stylist didn't say a word the whole time even when I tried to engage and have a convo read more

Great Clips - Obviously not straight at all Last time I went I got home to find out my neck was not trimmed at all. Horrible customer service - Hair Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Therese cuts my hair every time and does a wonderful job. I'm very picky about who I have cut my hair once I establish a picture and I like to stick with it. I am extremely thrilled of the work that she did for my daughter. My daughter absolutely loves her new hairstyle. read more

The worst haircut I've had in my life. I'm sure it serves me right for going to great clips. The employee's name is True and she truly gave me an awful haircut. I brought it up. It is the worst haircut I've ever had and they're only response. Was sorry to hear that. Heading home to grab a hat. If you're over five years old, I wouldn't go here. read more

Wow! Eric is the most talented stylist I've encountered, including at high end salons. The rave reviews about him do not exaggerate. I went for a cut by him based on the reviews, and my long thin shapeless hair is now full of body and flattering to my face shape. From now on, he is the only one I will let cut my hair. I only wish I'd come sooner. read more

I just had my hair cut here. I grew my bangs out for a year. Sheathing was fine until I asked for a free layers and she completely chopped my bangs and created huge missing chunks in my hair. Worst haircut I've had in years. read more

I found Lisa through Next Door and went to get a haircut. She did an awesome job! I am a senior so a haircut is $16 and she doesn't style or wash it but I don't usually like how the stylists fix my hair anyway. I came home and washed and styled my hair and it was perfect! She is fast and efficient and I will be going back! She works on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. read more

Eric is brilliantly talented. I noticed that he had very good reviews on Yelp so I called him to discuss my pixie cut and fine, thin hair texture. He assured me he could most definately help me with a cut. I was a bit apprehensive because other stylists have made the same assurance and didn't deliver. He sculpted my pixe with such precision and skill. I am overwhelmed and thrilled with the result. I found myself a stylist y'all. Thank you Eric!!! read more

I am a very happy client! I went to get a trim to a bad haircut I got a couple of months ago, and Leslie fixed my hair beautifully! Shout out to Leslie for being methodical, thorough, professional, and very thoughtful about my concerns. I highly recommend Leslie and I suggest you give her your business. I know I'm going back to her! read more

I got my hair cut by Erick. I showed him a picture of how I want my hair to look. He cut my hair too short. I won't be back to this business again. Training, training, training read more

recently posted about my horrible cut by mrs. missing tooth. forgot to upload the pic. i wish i was joking. reminder that my hair was two inches longer than the longest part pictured when i came in. i asked for an inch and a half off and some layers. at this point i think this girl did it on purpose because how can you suck so badly? read more

I recently started going back to Great Clips. I kind of forgot about them for a while and was going to a more expensive place much further away. I'm glad I'm back. I get better haircuts there and it is much easier to check in. The other place added a check in that I found to be a hassle. This place has the Great Clips app which shows you the wait time so you can pass if the wait is long. By the way this location is pretty busy so the app. has been useful. I have not got a bad haircut here but I have settled on one stylist who cuts my hair the best. I did go to one farther away when this place was busy and I was disappointed with my cut. read more

Eric is AMAZING!!! He knows what he's doing, to the point that I trust just saying cut it how you think it looks good! I've never trusted anyone with hair the way I trust him. It's an art for him, he can just look at you and cut your hair to frame your face just right :) if you're looking for a great cut, Eric is the man!!! read more

My family and I go to this location on N Cave Creek Road to have our hair cut and styled. The ladies that work here are very nice and welcoming each time we come. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to the health of my hair, and what type of hair products would benefit my hair. I appreciate these ladies. The shop is always clean and neat. They offer online check in from the comfort of your home. It is convenient and cuts down on the amount time one might have to wait for a stylist. My family and I will continue to return to this location. They mailed us some coupons as well which are great and we are using. I always tip because they do a great job and I always leave feeling pampered. read more

"Name speaks for itself" Friendly service. Efficient. Haven't had a bad cut yet. Very family friendly. Stylist are conversant, but not overly. Check-in app is useful. I've had my cut by 4 different stylist and I've been happy. Nancy is probably the most popular stylist there. She is the manager and her stylist like her. Good management, good stylist, efficient, clean equals Great Clips (at least at this location). Find this useful, funny, or cool please check below. read more

The manager and Erick were absolutely phenomenal people and artists. My sister and I went in and immediately felt welcome and at home. They were both real and hilarious. My hair is very damaged and I went in thinking the worst but Erick and the manager put my mind at ease and walked me through what we could do to keep my hair. He cut it and did an amazing job and also gave me advice and guidance on what to do next. Overall a great experience for my sister and I. Highly recommend and will be back read more

The girl at the station closest to the door, shouldn't be allowed to talk to people. Rude before I said anything, then was ruder when I wasn't aware you need to sign in online. The Ce never been there. read more

I go here quite often and the last three times were absolutely awful! I asked for a cut straight across the bottom of my hair... you would have thought by the look of my hair she wasn't supposed to graduate beauty school! That's not it, I went in asking for a French braid. The braid was falling out before I even got to my car. Today... took my husband in, the lady asked for his name he said Thomas she said oh Robert did you check in on line!!!! Tell me please how did she got Robert from Thomas. Just goes to show these people only care about their money. Not the happiness of the customer! I told them we would go somewhere else! read more

Long story SHORT... similar to my hair since I walked in with about 18 inches asking them to cut off 2 and they cut off 5 inches. Absolutely ridiculous - this is why I'm always afraid to get my hair cut because people either don't know how to handle my hair with confidence or they just don't care! read more

I came in and got a haircut from Kendra and she was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly and took her time while giving me a haircut. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. Loved my hair after! I'd definitely come back and get my hair done by her again. read more

I just had my hair cut at this store. A hairdresser there, Sandra, was to cut my hair. She was just plain rude. At first she said she had to get her station ready. She then, after delays, had me sit down and slapped a cape over me and snapped it too tightly. After that, she sprayed water all over, including my face and glasses. At that point she began cutting my hair. She was not paying attention. I realized this might be a disaster and said, "I can't do this." She stripped the cape off and walked away. Fortunately, another hairdresser was there and I asked if she could cut my hair. She was very gracious and gave me a good cut. Beware of Sandra. I have no desire to go back to that place. read more

Great clips indeed! Went on a Saturday and we got lucky because they were having a haircut sale: $7.99! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I love it. The lady who did my haircut was really nice and gave me all kinds of tips about taking care of my naturally wavy hair. I feel bad not remembering her name. :( Compared to Cost Cutters, this place is definitely a better deal. read more

I am in the process of moving to Phoenix and had no clue where to go. My brother highly recommended this place and I thanked him for doing so. The staff was friendly and Anna gave me an amazing hair cut. As a veteran, i have been to many barbers over the years and decided i would cut my own most of the time. Not anymore, Anna has skills!!! I will definitely be back and hopefully they will be my local spot. A huge thank you to Anna for making Phoenix feel like home already!!! read more

Was a regular here for the last couple of years. No more. On my last visit, I checked in online on the app as usual. Got there. I was 1st on there list (they have a monitor). One guy was waiting. They took him first, which was fine to me, he was there first. Then a woman came in with 3 teens. She was asked if she had checked-in online. She said she had not. They took one of the teens first. Then an older man came in. Can you guess? They took him next. I walked out. They lost a regular. I always tipped well. I posted my complaint on the app. All corporate said was that it was a franchise. If they passed it onto the store, the store never replied directly read more

I have been bringing my son here on and off for the last year and a half. Last night was our last visit to Great Clips. My son was given a "haircut" by Crystal. I put hair cut in quotes because he was butchered! When he walked up to the front desk after his cut was complete, it was all I could do to smile at him. I was horrified at what was the worst looking cut I've ever seen!!! He looked like a bowl was put over his head and any hair below the bowl line was shaved off, including ALL of his side burns and then some! She shave off his sideburns and then shaved up even higher above his sideburn hair line which looks awful. In addition, she chopped pieces of his bangs off on each side of his head so he has gaps where he used to have hair. She then angled his hair on the side to slope down towards the back of his head. It was a complete disaster and there is no way to "fix" the cut because he has little left to work with. I don't know what she was thinking or how she in any way thought this cut was acceptable so I caution you to stay away from this place. We got a Cheap, Crappy haircut - W O W !!!!!!!!! read more

I had Charlot cut my hair here. I would not recommend having her cut yours. She did not understand a word that I was saying. No offense to her but I don't think she understands much English at all. My hair came out looking lopsided and not what I had asked for. She went off the notes she had in the system but honestly I would say just don't have her cut your hair. The rest of the women their cutting hair might be better but I will never find out. read more

I have had Denise cut my hair for about 10 years, maybe longer. It is a blessing that she has stayed with the company this long, as most of the good stylists end up leaving. Recently moved to the area and received a coupon for a haircut...Ana cut my hair...dang she did a smokin' job. Was at my boyfriend's house and really just wanted some extra pampering. Decided that I was going to try one of those blow dry places. He suggested going here because he'd been here a few times for haircuts. Tasha was fantastic! She welcomed me as soon as I stepped into the shop. I have long hair & she did a great job! She took time to put extra conditioner in my hair and chatted with me about life. All in all, a totally pleasant experience that I might do again soon. Two thumbs up! Thanks for a great experience read more

Reliable and cheap. Plus they have a mobile app that I can use to avoid long wait times. Really impressed by this place.

I never remember her name, but one lady always pushes their products and try's to upsell to the point of it being annoying. I know it's their job to try and sell the wash and all their products, but after I've said no multiple times in one visit...just stop. This last time she tried to sell me on the shampoo when I checked in and during the haircut twice. Plus she tried to sell me on product during the haircut even after I told her I wasn't interested in buying anything. Then tried one more time at checkout. read more

Outstanding service! All of stylists were very friendly and the fresh haircut is amazing, exactly what I requested.
