After assessing the unit, he explained that the unit is dead and provided me with a few recommendations, replace what's required or the entire unit. He was very patient with me and explains the pros and cons. At the end, I decided the right thing to do is to replace the entire HVAC unit since the original unit is more than 13 years old.
