Highly recommend! We needed our 40+ year old heat pump replaced, and everyone at Evolution Air was great from beginning to end. There were supply delays and a few other installation issues along the way, but thanks to their excellent communication and honesty, we always felt like we were in good hands. Is it possible to give zero stars? We used this company for several years BUT that is no longer the case. During a service call last year, the repair person tried to charge us $435 for a $65 part that is readily available in the plumbing dept at Home Depot, or Lowes. This doesn't include the service fee (also very high). We called the owner to express our concern and upset about the exorbitant attempt to overcharge us. It was a shock that they would price gauge like this. In the end, we opted not to replace the part as it was merely cracked. A little waterproof epoxy glue- and voila- all fixed! It has worked great ever since. Fast forward to this year... Evolution informed us they won't service our account now because we questioned them about their billing! We are nice people and this company tried to take advantage of us. If you want to do business with a company that lacks integrity then this is the company for you. Unfortunately I can only do 2 stars for this company here's why. Had an issue with a ductless minisplit HVAC unit that I purchased & had installed with another company back in October of Last year. The unit functioned flawlessly in the cold months however, began to leak prefusely when I began using the air con as the weather heated up. Cld not find the invoice or contact info for the original installers so I yelped & found this company & it came with great reviews so I called. Within 2-3 days 2 techinicians came to my home & began to troubleshoot the problem. They were pleasant enough & seemed to have a handle on hvac repair. They spent abt 2 hrs at my home & came to the conclusion tht the unit most likely needed to be repitched, purged of fluids & then refilled, may also need a pump installed, & have the drain hose reshifted. They told me tht the company wld call me back in abt a day to give me an estimate of their write up/ recommendation. This was on a Wednesday. Didn't hear from them on Thurs so I called them on Friday. The receptionist informed me tht they were still. Wrking on the estimate & I wld be contacted by the afternoon of tht day. Needless to say there was no call back until I called Monday. Again they had no estimate for me again, & said tht I wld be contacted by the end of the day for a quote. So Wht do you think happened? No contact tht day, I called them Back the next day & explained to them tht I've been waiting for a quote since last week, I've paid 120.00 for a diagnostic & since I had already paid I wld like the same company to finish the job. The secretary rendered her apologies for the delay & assured me tht they will Get back to me with a estimate in a few hours. Within the hour I was contacted & issued an estimate for the job. 4hr labor at a cost of $1500.00 bucks!! I almost laughed but instead I got alil angry. For tht price I cld buy a new unit. Needless to say I declined any further service from Evolution air. Upon digging deeper & luck I found the original installation company which was a relief Bcz it was still Covered under warranty. So they came out & fixed the issue. Here's the kicker - the tech was at my home less than 35 mins!! He readjusted the drain line & 'voila the problem was terminated. AC has been running & draining as it shld. Seems like Evolution air was trying to rip me off which is the reason for the rating & the post. Please be aware. read more

These guys are amazing. They completely helped me figure out why my attic was leaking and then updated several things on my water heater. They have since been back to clean everything and taught me so much about my system. Just GREAT! knowledgeable, humble, easy to work with and beyond reliable. I have Central Air upstairs. I had a small unit installed downstairs that only cools a bedroom. It has a fan unit installed in the wall. I had it put in for when my daughter visits. She comes with my grandchildren for a visit every summer. I forgot that after last years visit she said it had stopped working. I suddenly remembered just before her visit that it was not working. I called Evolution Air and they wanted a credit card before they came and said the charge would be one hundred and fifty dollars dollars just for showing up. The first thing the mechanic did was open the unit and clean the filters which had only been used for two weeks. There is a fuse alongside the filters which I did not know. You would think that would be the first thing he would check . It was almost two hours before he checked it and found it had blown. He did not have the right size fuse but put in a smaller one. Monday was the fourth of July but said someone would be here on Tuesday with the proper fuse. No one came on Tuesday, No one called, I called Thursday and got the runaround. I was told it was special for these units and had to get it from the supply house and the price would be added to the bill. Be advised. read more

I'm Very disappointed in the service. I asked they're advice on how to repair the air conditioning at my home and I was told to refill with Freon and a sealer. The Freon leaked out the next day but I received a bill for $1200. I hired another air conditioning contractor who came to the house and replaced a set line and the leak was fully repaired. I had nothing to show for my $1200 payment to this company and when I asked the owner, Michael, for some accommodation, he completely refused.
