My consult visit was very confusing the gentleman who came to my how to check my central air machine because I was having problems where the house was not heating properly. He stated just by listening and touching the vent that he felt it was clog. I explained to him I already had service the machine where the board of the machine was replace so it couldn't been that it was clog. He was very adamants about it. Due to extreme weather my home stay @50 degrees I wanted over a month and half . I couldn't wait I called in explain it was too cold and need services they stated for someone to come sooner it will be an extra $400 charge. Due to circumstances I agree they came out as the guys was cleaning and checking everything I was asking question and explaining the to them the house doesn't get warm. They stated it wasn't clog or in the fact dirty. After they finished they stated they will have someone one reach out to me regarding there was no issue. No one reached out to me but yet the issue issued still remain. It ashamed and a disgraceful how company charges so much and doesn't follow up on there customers. I am writing a review about Air Solutions HVAC. I want to start by saying that they are prompt and their service is fine. However, after getting estimates for 2 different repair services I feel as though I am well qualified to say that their estimates are double or triple what other companies are charging. They also are very aggressive about bringing in their sales team to provide estimates for replacing things that are still working. Beware that the last time I had them come in for a service call the cost of the diagnosis went from $165 to $240 within a few minutes of the technician's arrival. I called head quarters to complain and they credited me the difference. They also claimed they needed to take the part with them to give me an estimate even though I received the estimate before the technician left. It was bewildering. Made me feel as though they wanted to tie my hands so I could not get another estimate. I had them bring the part back. Needless to say I used Connecticut Air Systems and had them make the repair for $900 versus $2400. This was for a geothermal air pump motor. Get multiple estimates even if there is a diagnosis fee. It is worth it. I highly recommend CT Air Systems. They are fair and professional. read more

Although our HVAC and water heating systems were working fine, they were nearing or at their life expectancy. So we interviewed a couple of companies to purchase and install new ones. Auto Solutions was recommended to us by a neighbor, so we met Paul Schimmeck at Air Solutions. In the final analysis, Air Solutions was equally priced, but Paul's excellent representation and sense of urgency won the day. As we live in a third floor apartment, which is also where the HVAC is located, it was a complicated installation that required a crane. Despite the challenges, they deployed an extraordinary number of people to complete the installation, which was done efficiently, and with great care so as to leave little trace they were ever here. Similarly, although they needed to return for some fine tuning of the heat pump, the hot water heater went in smoothly. We were pleased with their overall service and, like my neighbor, would recommend them to any discriminating homeowner interested in good quality and service. read more

I just called to give air solutions a second chance after what they did to me months ago. The woman on the phone was a so unprofessional and so rude. She asked me if I had the wrong number because we had issues in the past. She answered my Google review to lie about me wanting a tech to diagnose something over the phone. I don't even know how that would work with what I'm in the middle of, nor did she ask. This woman laughed under her breath when I said I had an emergency because they documented that I wasn't happy and didn't want to work with them. Way to go on the second chance. I had an emergency and needed to know what my options are. I never asked for a diagnosis over the phone, which is what I specifically said to her. I needed help fast. Good thing I found another HVAC company that has after hours and told me what to do in the moment. read more

Came home at night to find our central AC stopped. Our former long time HVAC company no longer exists. I called Air solutions 8:30 the next morning. Warren was here by 10:30, and by noon everything was good again. There were a number of issues and It DID cost more than you want to spend after just one cup of coffee. Putting the pain of the pocketbook aside, Warren was professional, explained everything that was done, showed me how to clear the drain on the upstairs handler (which I was never aware I should be doing once a year) and checked over everything. He advised me of a service we should do in fall which will consider. I was very happy with the work and will use them again. read more

BEWARE. Do not use this company. I would have given less than that 1 star if that was possible. Unless you like being grossly overcharged, avoid this company. I needed one drain from my AC unit unclogged with the water in the pan removed. I was charged just shy of $900.00 in labor to clear the drain and remove the water for less than 1 hour of work. My R-22 compressor failed and needed to be replaced. Since R-22 is out of production, I needed to replace the attic air handler as well. I spoke to multiple vendors and Air Solutions had the second lowest price. But, I went with them because of the professionalism that was evident when Paul came out to do the estimate. I was not disappointed - the Air Solutions team arrived on time, and carefully completed the job. Booked an appointment one month ago for service today. Specifically asked for the service technician with whom we have worked for the past three years. He is terrific and knows our units very well. Service coordinator confirmed the time and the requested technician. This morning, the truck pulled up on time, but with a different technician. I asked him where our requested technician was. "He got reassigned" was the answer I received. Now the good part- as the technician was walking into the house, he mentioned that he "JUST FLEW BACK FROM FLORIDA LAST NIGHT"! This firm may be skilled at HVAC related services. They were referred by Angie's list for my standby generator repair. I t has been 5 weeks since their tech assessed the generator and indicated that it needed coils replaced, then spark plugs, then other parts. Orders took weeks for this firm to receive, no calls to me, texts, or information and to when I can expect to have my generator functioning and starting normally. I had to call, text and nag to get any response while my heating, eater supply and all else electrical was reliant on the power not being interrupted by a storm or other such failure in the middle of winter. It has been 5 weeks since the analysis of the machine, still no repair, or response from the owner or his staff. It seems apparent that generator service is not among the skills this firm is highly adept at. read more

I've waited until a few heat waves before writing this - only to really make sure my AC was fixed and it was!! Had a 12 year old compressor that died during a heat wave in 2017. I was forced to call the first AC repair man available who replaced compressor the same day and I've had issues since that day. Despite multiple calls, lost work time due to last minute service call appt changes and visits from then until July 2018 , I was watching money go out the window as I attempted to cool my 1600 sq foot home. He had no answers and recommended I settle for a home that didn't get below 78 in the summer and a system that shut down during the highest temp days. I was pretty much guaranteed to walk in the door at the end of the day on the hottest days and find my system was blowing warm air. I was beyond frustrated I called Air Solutions in desperation on a Saturday and was immediately impressed with the response time, ability to speak to a person and their work The price of 450.00 for a service call has me really worried but - it was the best 450 I spent. I was guaranteed same day service ( which happened within one hour) the unit was powered up and although they weren't 100 percent sure what was wrong they sumised it might have been contaminated refrigerant and would need to come back . Disappointed that I was probably going to end up spending considerably more , but resigned to the fact - service was scheduled for Wednesday On Wednesday the tech came, researched the problem again, checked pressures of refrigerant and felt that the refrigerant was fine and identified that the problem was actually the insulation inside the air handler in the attic that was falling, blocking the air flow and causing unit to shut down during times of heavy need - a very easy fix . No previous tech had EVER looked inside the air handler except this company Not only did they identify and repair this - they didn't charge me for the Wednesday visit . How refreshing to deal with a responsive , customer service focused, and technically on point company !! Couldn't be happier as I sit in my 68 degree home. You can call me a very satisfied customer. Terrible! Would never use these people or recommend them. We found them on the internet. Had a problem with my air conditioner. The service man should have turned the unit off in the attic with a simple switch, which apparently is standard procedure. Unit was accidentally turned on and resulted in a leak. Pan which previously collected water did not collect the water. I am not sure if it was replaced correctly by the service man. read more

So, I took the initiative and made multiple calls and left several messages, requesting a return call. Never heard back. Not even one courtesy call. Completely unprofessional. Then I decided to call the office (at least three times) and everyone I spoke with PROMISED someone would get back to me. No one ever called back. Not one person. Not one call.
