I called six different NYC HVAC repair companies and either couldn't reach anyone or was told that their first appointment was two weeks away. When I called ProCore (on the recommendation of a friend) I was immediately connected to a technician who listened to the situation and told me he would be there the next morning "first thing". At 8:30am two technicians arrived and immediately got to work. They solved the problem, fixed the system, and even made some minor adjustments to make my system more energy efficient. They were friendly, courteous, professional and obviously very good at their job. Their price was very reasonable - to the point where I gave both of them a little extra to thank them for their excellent work and for coming on a holiday early morning. My apartment immediately started cooling down and the system is working better than ever. Just to illustrate the professionalism: both technicians put "covers" on their shoes that they brought with them so they didn't bring any dirt on to my floor (without even being asked to do that). They indicated they have emergencies coming in and those take priority. Customer concerns are not valued and they do not properly know how to manage their schedules. Hiring more techs during peak season would make more sense than telling customers you are understaffed and their needs are not a priority. They asked the appointment to be moved a week with no guarantees as to if it would actually be serviced then. If you have other options in your area go with a more professional company.

Had a scheduled service appointment on November 4, 2020. Although the technician that was on-site…read morewas great, can't say the same for the "project coordinator". Thought a repair for the water heater was happening in one shot. However, to the surprise of the technician, he didn't even know he was doing a repair. Was told there would be some kind of warranty on the work, and again, this was a surprise to the technician as well. Thought this repair could happen in a few hours and be warrantied for at least 1 month. Nope! The technician basically said that for work he didn't think would "last", he would not offer a warranty. His visit ended being a consult which is NOT what I had agreed to as I thought this repair could actually be done and not something that was "iffy". So for basically a half hour consult, forked over appx $139. Although the coordinator offered to deduct the amount off the price of a new water heater, which the technician said should have a 6 year warranty, the one the coordinator sent paperwork for only stated 3 years. When this was mentioned, he said the research was done by other members of his team and that new paperwork correcting the warranty would be sent. Nope! This was the 3rd strike. Paperwork was NEVER received, and at this point, didn't see a point to call him again just to be angered more.
