The negative review I have for Unicars Honda has nothing to do with my salesman or the sales manager. They were great. Gave me a great deal. I was happy up until today when I went to pick up my proceeds check and it was $85 short. They have a bogus charge of $85 for you to keep your personalized plate. I have never heard of charge of this nature I have carried with me on other vehicles and no other dealership has ever charged me to keep my own personal life plates. The finance manager Josie gave me my due bill with the correct amount of the proceeds, but when I got the check, it was $85 short. And you know it's bogus when they don't put the $85 deduction on the check stub but that's fine. I will not live or die for $85. However, I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership and will also recommend to my family and friends if they're looking for a Honda product to go elsewhere. read more

Really disappointed with the service department 5 months ago got my oil change noticed my car was jumpy after a couple days went by I opened the hood my transmission plug wasn't closed. I went to a different shop and got that fixed So I went Unicars to get my oil change, really quick I knew I was gonna be in and out quick, I got my car but something told me to open the hood, so I opened it and my transmission plug was wide open A service writer came out all he said was I'll speak to my manager and will resolve the issue. I was like that's it ?!?! I'm not bashing Hondas because they're great cars But Unicars probably the last place to get your car worked out Never going again read more

We brought our daughter's car in for a new head gasket and other repairs. $3000. They did not put the oil filler cap back on, exposing the engine to all sorts of sand and dust. They did not fill the radiator fully, it required another quart of coolant. There was oil all over half the engine. We brought it back. They changed the oil, filled the radiator and told us they would clean the oil residue from the engine. They didn't. They said it was their 'top mechanic' who did the initial work. God only knows what the other mechanics are capable of. I do not find them to be a reliable or ethical place to have a car serviced. read more

So I recently purchased a new vehicle the car is great. The problem I have is the finance guy named Pedro had sold me on a platinum package protection, which he guaranteed me would have me covered if anything were to happen to my wheel which unfortunately I hit a pothole and my wheel was damaged and I've been calling him every day for over a month trying to take my car in to get fixed. I've already gave the first payment, and he still said the contracts have not been finalized so every day that I ride my car, more damage is being taken in. He also sold me on a platinum package deal that he guaranteed me. I could take my car in to get fixed with no questions asked and now he's asking me a lot of questions about the accident where my tire got damaged and after over a month he is now telling me that it is not covered mind you he said exactly that no questions asked when I signed the contracts and now he's telling me that it's not covered and it should be a learning lesson for both of us when he's the one who didn't say exactly what would not be covered his words specifically were you can come in no questions asked for any damage and now I'm being told otherwise. So I said is there anyway you can help me out at least this one time since I've already paid my first month and I'm paying for this platinum package which he guaranteed me covered any damage on my wheel and he is saying there's no way he can help me out which is BS and very unprofessional of him for not following through with exactly what he said. My advice would be to not purchase any kind of package protection from Pedro. He made it sound really good when it came to to signing and purchasing this "protection plan" that he guaranteed me would cover anything when it came to that specific damage. And the fact that I have to wait over a month to take my car in is also BS. It should be able to be fixed as quick as they were able to sell me the car and the protection plan. I am currently still calling everyday and still he tells me the contracts aren't finalized if I could, I would give this experience less than one star. From the first phone call I told pedro exactly what happened to my tire/rim and he told me it would be covered and on my last recent phone he said he didn't know about a certain detail and now all of a sudden I'm not covered. read more

Be careful getting your service done here. First oil change I asked for a tire rotation as I just bought new tires and it was time to rotate so I asked for them to do so. I also had a nail in one of the tires that kept going low and my next stop was americas tire for to repair thought I would just rotate while I was already waiting on oil change. When I got to americas tires the nail was still in the same spot they never rotated and lied about it. Also they sold us on car with free oil changes come to find out if you don't have them do all the maintenance they won't do it. It was time to change brake fluid it was 199 at unicorns Honda 100-119 everywhere else so I opted out. Every maintenance service thru university Honda is double everywhere so there still technically making money. The sales lady wasn't very transparent on the oil changes. read more

We recently purchased a used but only 23k miles car from Unicars. The sales team was great but there was a small scratch when we were given the car and we were told "Not a problem. We can have the service department buff that out." I had to follow up a few times about getting it scheduled, but got it scheduled. I showed up for my appointment and waited over an hour and still wasn't even GREETED by service member. I finally interrupted one and told him that I needed to reschedule. I took time away from work to drop the car off, and that was just ridiculous. I needed to get back to my other appointments. Fast forward to today when I had rescheduled for first thing in the morning. I showed up for my appointment and AGAIN had to wait over 30 minutes to be greeted. They saw the scratch and said "No problem. We can have that done in less than an hour." I had meetings so I left the car there for the day. I was called within 2 hours to say it was ready and picked it up before closing. I just got home and looked AND THE SCRATCH IS STILL THERE! WHAT EXACTLY DID THEY DO?! Nothing. I'm now awaiting a phone call back. I will say that every person I have interacted with there has been very kind. It's too bad the service department is so poorly managed. I wouldn't even recommend purchasing a car there at this point because then you might get entangled with this horrid department. read more

This is a great Honda dealership. We just got a commuter car over the weekend here (a stunning midnight burgundy pearl 2018 Civic) through Juan Aguila and he was absolutely wonderful - went above and beyond to make sure that we got the deal we came in for, no shadiness, and very efficient too. He patiently allowed us to test drive various cars and answered any questions we had. The finance manager, Genaro Cabrera was not pushy at all with the add-ons like most are, and instead was a great conversationalist. It truly felt nice to complete necessary paperwork while having a few laughs with him. We were in and out of the dealership in about 3 hours, which I'd say is pretty efficient. We drove our BMW to the dealership, and the car we needed to trade in as part of the deal was an old Honda Accord with a wrecked driver's door (a giant truck ran right into it, making it so that the door could no longer open or close properly). Juan drove the new Civic to our house to swap and pick up the old Accord. I have never encountered such great customer service at any other dealership before! Before he took off, he took the time to make sure that we got everything we needed. Our experience at Unicars has been exceptional. I used to enjoy getting my service here but recently their customer service is terrible. If you want your appointment to be scheduled incorrectly and/or keep having to reschedule your appointment cause they are overbooked then this is the place to be. Not to mention the long wait time with appointment and if you schedule online they will call you to cancel. And if you scheduled by phone they have availability till weeks later. When you ask for a full inspection they will also let you go on your way with one brake light not working and your brake oil almost empty. read more

I took my car in this past Saturday and had to wait over four hours for the service rep to say that originally took two hours which I have never waited that long before. Then the technician that worked on my car had left the drain plug loose on my car and the entire oil spilled at my work site and they stated they would take my car back to the dealership and drop it off back to me at work and I had to get a ride to the dealership because the shuttle was not available to bring the technician back with my car. Not only that the service manager stated they would have someone clean the oil that spilled all over my work site and they still have not brought anyone.
