Jon Romero is the most condese and unprofessional person I have ever spoken with. It's truly a shame that Honda has a person like this on their team. He is not helpful whatsoever and seems like he either doesn't want to do his job or doesn't know how to. Truly embarrassing. read more

I have to be honest I was a little apprehensive about going to a dealer. I had horrible experiences with the dealer in Palm Springs. Met Ricky the svc adviser and after talking with him I felt a lot more comfortable. Bottom line, the service I received from Unicars Honda was outstanding. I've been back a second time once again Ricky was on top of everything. I would definitely recommend Unicars Honda and Ricky is top notch as a svc rep. Thanks read more

All of the Honda associates are very helpful, but whenever I go Ricky assists me and he's help me get my a/c in my car running and my vehicle to stop jerking read more

I'm so impressed with the service at this dealership. I had just gotten new tires with the warranty at my home Honda and the tire pressure light came on on a road trip. I pulled into this Honda service center and they got me in and out and back on the road in no time. read more

The service here is horrible. Doesn't matter if you make an appointment. They always "have a call out" and are short staffed. We bought a car here and will never buy one again. I've had issue with them and the sales staff and manager. Had an issue with my door locks and the sales manager said he would get back to me by end of day and he forgot so when I walked in he said there was nothing he could do when I told he he forgot to get back to me and probably never addressed the issue he laughed I was so over their lack of professionalism. I laughed at the service they provide I will be going to Honda in cathedral city instead. read more

I have been leasing my Honda's from them for many years. They have gone over and above with their customer service. A few years ago, I was caring for my mother when she was on Hospice. They brought my new car to me because I couldn't leave her. Then, last year I had a hip replacemen. Again, they brought my new car to me because I couldn't drive. Yesterday I sat in the waiting room for a couple of hours while they tinted my windows. The area is so comfortable and televisions are not blasting. The service technicians are kind & helpful. I TRUST these people to give me honest, personal service. read more

David the assistant service manager took very good care of me he kept me updated on the repairs and hopefully repaired my car for a couple hundred thousand miles that's the whole reason I buy Honda's because I want a car with low maintenance and dependability thank u David and the service department read more

I waited inside for at least 15 minutes , not one single employee give me any kind of acknowledgement. I was just here for a simple oil change. Although the car was ready within a reasonable amount of time , but my car door was covered with black grease and it has been running for at least 20 mins . Why can't they just they just turn off my car ? Why are the techs so careless? Is my brand new car but obviously they don't care . I will definitely buy another Honda but not from this dealership. The service department is absolutely horrible. The only possible thing I can say is Ricky who helped me. He is so pleasant to work with . Everyone else and the entire team suck though . read more

I went on vacation out there and my car started to malfunction, called them and they told me to bring the car in. They fixed it right away without any hesitation and my car is working perfectly fine. Great customer service read more

If you live in Indio, just take a nice drive to Cathedral City. The shuttle service is great! A lot of techs and advisors moved from Unicars to Honda of the Desert as well. They also have a new patio. Anyways, I've had multiple services ranging from a small amount of $80 - $800 + over the course of 2021-oil changes, brakes, battery, courtesy inspections, etc and I'm sad to say it's not what it used to be here. Things fell off the beginning of 2023. My sister dropped her car off once and when we went down to Unicars (after not receiving any call about that car being ready which was promised from a service advisor that no longer works here), one of the other advisors had the audacity to ask "are you sure you dropped it off?" LOL, my dude...you'd think we remember we dropped off a full car. Like be serious. This miscommunication had turned into a bigger issue when I went for a diagnostic earlier this month. Ben took me as a walk in on Monday, which I appreciated of course. I wouldn't have been upset if there was false promises of when the vehicle would be ready. I commute to Riverside and had to scramble to find a ride because my vehicle was promised to have the diagnostic completed by the following day. No call. So I kept calling. Then the phone line is down Wednesday. I'll attach what I wrote on the "Contact Us" because that's what gets a fast response. I got my call back Tuesday at 3:30pm saying vehicle would be ready tomorrow. Then the phone line was down Wednesday which I found out after going in person. I was helped by Marc who is lovely. Def recommend him! He was trained by Jeremy who was the best and most helpful guy there (unfortunately no longer with Unicars). I wanted to log this to my file since I was not satisfied with this service (it's underneath where you sign off and must be logged within 10 days) and mentioned that on the phone to Ben when we last spoke Thursday 3/8 calling if I had any questions. I tried getting Carl's direct email, but Ben said just to fill out the Contact Us form again. I guess, but it seemed defensive. It was a little too late for questions to be answered as well. I told him thank you for the call back and just keep it short. I was done and over everything. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but just unfortunate miscommunication and being short staffed in Indio I guess. I do appreciate Marc's help again with this. His training with Jeremy paid off. Just leaving this feedback to help Honda maintain quality service we would like for it to have on this end of the valley. Thank you! read more

I had an outstanding experience with Mike. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied.

I purchased a wonderful car from Unicar Honda, a "fully loaded" 2013 Honda Crosstour. What a terrific vehicle! I haven't had one major issue with that car in over 12 years, and I still drive it everywhere! The car handles beautifully! The only reason I'd be considering a new car is that I really want a hybrid! read more

Mike is very professional and would not hesitate to recommend him. This is coming from a retired Honda service advisor

I have financed 3 Honda's prior at a different Dealer. This time around, I decided to go to UniCars Honda. From the minute I arrived I was greeted by Curtis, sales representative, about 2 minutes in Chris, Sales Manager stopped by and introduced himself. Curtis was the nicest and told me all about the vehicle I was interested in. He also helped me download an app on my phone to keep up with any upcoming services my car will need. Once I got to financing with Josy she was very knowledgeable and answered all my concerns. I would definitely buy another vehicle at this location. When buying a car you tend to get nervous because of the commitment, but all the team made me feel like I was family. read more

7:00 am appointment, took 24 minutes to check in. At check in time as told it would take 11/2 hr for my first service on my new SUV, as I'm a waiter, now 10am. Just checked with service manager who said the Express Service was "slow" today, really!!! After checking with the service department said he was sorry, but would be another 1/2 hr. We have purchased two vehicles from Unicars within the last 3 months. We plan to return again and again as their sales and service are the very best. They only sell used vehicles which are inspected and confirmed to be of the best quality, and their new inventory speaks for itself. This trip we met a very friendly and genuine salesman - Eduardo. He has a heart for the customer and the knowledge to help buyers make a great decision. We found the right vehicle, but Genaro put us in the BEST vehicle. He saved us money, and best of all, got us BETTER financing. Crystal put all of our paperwork together quickly and efficiently. I have always been told that the people at the car dealership are NOT your friend - they're there to sell cars. It has been our experience at Unicars that you feel heard, cared for, and genuinely respected. This is something I have never experienced at any other dealership. Thank you, UNICARS for continuing to be the best in Southern California! read more

I've always had a terrible experience every time I bring my Honda Pilot to this service center. They consistently ruined my car, and unfortunately my AC now is not working blowing hot air, I am too busy to go back and have it fixed. I would've given them 0 stars if I could." Very so unprofessional!!!!! read more

My original experience with Unicars was not very good. I called about a car to make sure it was in stock. I set up an appointment to look at it and let them know I was coming from far away but when I got there they said the car was gone. A sales manager later called me and was very apologetic. A few weeks later they got the same car back in stock so I gave them another shot. The salesman, Gabriel, was very kind and knowledgeable. He was not pushy either. When I let them know I was interested the gentleman in finance was a bit pushy. I kept requesting to see numbers in writing and he was pressuring me to shake on the deal right away. When I made it into the finance office and finally saw numbers there were some problems. I saw the value for my trade in was entered as $2000 less than I verbally agreed to earlier. Also there was a $3000 service contract added in that nobody had talked about yet. I was trying to share the numbers with my wife over the phone but was told they didn't want me to take photographs of the price breakdown sheet. I reached a point where I was satisfied with the deal and bought the car but it took a lot of back and forth in the finance office. So overall, this was not the best experience I've had purchasing a car but not the worst either. Note, they are listing new cars with a $3000 markup due to the current car shortage. Other dealers I contacted were asking for a higher markup though. read more

All the help here are experts in what they do for all customers. Really super friendly and helpful.

THEY WILL RUIN YOUR PAINT! When we bought our car in June (2024CRV-hybrid) the finance gal went on and on about their paint, how it's sealed and they really want it to stay protected and clean. Well, I wasn't surprised that the free car wash that came with the service SUCKED..(they missed the back and the black rims looks atrocious). What surprised both of us are the SWRILES they left in the paint! When the light hits it was shimmery and beautiful. Now it has circular scratches everywhere. Absolute trash! I was going to keep it, now I don't want it. When the lease is up, you can have it! And the vague AI response I got on my Google review shows how out of touch and uncaring they are. It also led to this review and probably a phone call later. read more

This used to be a great dealership. All the original service writers have moved on. A lot of them have moved to the Honda dealership in Cathedral City. We had a 9:00am appointment for an Oil Change.we got out of there at 12:30pm We were shocked & annoyed. We were told when we asked the service writer what the problem was. He said.....No mechanics.....they can't keep them. I appreciate the honesty. My time is valuable. I make an appointment for a reason. I'm disappointed in our service. This was our experience. Good luck! read more

If I could give them 0 starts I would! Came in for my regular oil change as I usually do and the gentleman at the desk was super nice. They recommended I do a tire alignment as it "didn't pass" the alignment inspection they do. I let them know I would do it next time as I was already doing a transmission fluid change which was recommended last time I came in which wasn't even brought up till I brought it up which I thought was weird. At the end the gentleman told me a whole list of things I needed to get repaired. I let him know that's it's not in my budget so I would have to schedule the service at another time. I then took it to a different mechanic to compare pricing and that is when they told me that everything was good and there was no need to replace anything BUT the driver side axle. I didn't even need an alignment. So I don't recommend getting your service done here unless you want to pay for things you don't even need!!! read more

I would like to mention a few people that made our experience at Honda one of the best. It all started with the sales Associate Jeremy he has amazing customer service. He made sure he found a vehicle that worked for us. He took the time to show us around the vehicles that we liked. Before having us speak to his sales manager Chris to make the right deal. We had an amazing experience with Chris the sales manager he has awesome customer service skills. He is all about great customer service and making the right deal for the customer. Chris goes above and beyond for his customers. He was fantastic with getting us a great deal on our lease. Crystal the finance manger has awesome customer service. I also wanted to mention that Carl the Service Director has amazing customer service. He cares about customers satisfaction. Overall I totally recommend this place if you are looking to purchase or lease. read more

I tried on and off for 3 DAYS trying to get a service appointment. NOBODY answers the phone. Mind you, I purchased my vehicle there and have always had it serviced at this dealership. I even called the parts department and asked someone there to go over to the Service Department and get someone to answer the phone They supposedly tried it, but again, I got no help! Now I am going to the Honda dealer in Cathedral City for a service checkup. If this is what new management is, it STINKS! read more
