I have loved the food at Ziti's from my first meal, the Sunday Gravy. I have been working my way…read morethrough the menu since then. Everything I have tried has been good, not always perfect for me and my tastes, but you can tell the effort and care put into the menu. I have settled into a couple favorites and discovered their soup, it is amazing. The staff have been great since our first visit. They would recognize us and know our names. Several servers we had previously will come up and say hi and ask us how we are doing. Very polite, professional, and fast with a refill of bread and a check on our drinks. The restaurant space is small and cozy. Since the remodel, the waiting area is a nice place that isn't crowded. We have eaten on slow nights and on busy nights, we always feel seen and welcome. I highly recommend Ziti's, and if it isn't perfect the first time, give it another shot, it's well worth it.

My 16 yr old tried the magna meatball sandwich & really liked it. He could only eat 1/2 (yes, he did enjoy both bread appetizers!) My parents shared the Italian house salad & Chicken Saltambocca. They both really loved it! My husband had Salsiccia Al Zitti - I had a bite of that sausage OMG, so good! I had Pappardelle Romana and it was delicious! We also shared the New York Cheesecake with strawberry topping- delicious!! Kevin, our server, was kind, attentive, & helpful. We were there early - right when they opened for dinner service on a Saturday at 4pm so the place was just starting to get busy but the staff handled it well. I would go again. We don't live in the area. My parents do & have been there several times. I'm glad West Fargo has a place like this!

Going to a restaurant during COVID mad me so happy with living in Minnesota we are only allowed…read moreoutdoor dining, which during the winter is impossible. We visited Bar Down for a private groom's dinner for a wedding we attended. The regular bar side was full and I loved the atmosphere when we first arrived!! Our event was in a private room with a full bar inside of the room which I really appreciated because some private events have a long wait for drinks since they still go through the main bar. I was elated when I found out Busch light was on tap as it'd next to impossible to find on tap at restaurants in Minnesota. With the private group we all had 2 drinks paid for by the bride and groom and I was pleasantly surprised by the large size of the tap glasses- it seemed the equivalent of almost 2 glasses I would typically get at another bar/restaurant. All of the waitstaff were very polite and great at making sure everyone was taken care of. The mac and cheese, brisket sandwiches with peach bbq and potatoes were phenomenal! I didn't care for the broccoli as it could have been cooked longer, just my preference. The only real complaint I had was the room we were in wasn't really big enough for the group we had and there definitely wasn't enough seating. My group that attended the event ended up sitting in some lounge chairs and had to eat with our plates on our lap which was a little inconvenient. I'm unsure if this was a miscommunication of numbers between the people who reserved the room and the bar, which I totally understand that can happen! Overall loved the food, bar & atmosphere. And it's in a great location with the rink right behind it. The kids at our event loved watching the hockey!

The salmon dip was amazing. Absolutely the best thing that we had. The New York strip was prepared poorly. We asked for it medium to rare and it came very well done. The asparagus were very tough and woody. Unfortunately, the best part of that dish was the mashed potatoes. The dish came with lump crab on top. We ended up just scraping that off because it felt like they just took it out of a can and put it on top. It didn't add anything to the dish. A server was great and the service at the table was amazing. We'll definitely go back if we just want drinks and appetizers, but the food is not the best that we could find in town for that amount of money.

There were very few other guests in the restaurant at 8pm on a Tuesday but the food and service was still terrific. The server ( didn't catch his name) even made a couple of quick witted jokes and ensured the desserts ordered were gluten free for the girls. I tried the brisket ramen for a change and the flavors were 10/10. My husband enjoyed the Cuban sandwich w a side salad (which was a nicely elevated mixed greens) and our youngest daughter really liked the salmon dish. The branded buns are a nice touch - bummed I didn't snap a pic of those. If you haven't yet been, give this place a try - keeping a restaurant going isn't for the faint of heart, and we enjoy spreading the love around as much as we can!

It's a birthday day dinner kind of thing. Off we go…read more PR rating- a nice 5. The hostess was welcoming, friendly and asked us if a booth was ok, then showed us to our seats. Nice. There were 4 adults and 1 toddler having dinner tonight. But first the decor. The place has a nice vibe to it. There is some nice long counter seating at the bar. There are lots of glass windows behind that bar that can be opened when the weather is nice. There's an outdoor seating area right next to this. I'm thinking in spring, this would be really nice. There are lots of tables with stools and booths. The booth that we sat at, had big circular windows that you can look out of. There's not much to see other than the parking lot but still it was nice to be seated next to windows. This place calls out "happy hour" to me for groups and I did see groups arriving for that purpose. It wasn't too crowded as it was a week night. Ok onward. My husband and I arrived first and ordered a drink, JD and seven for him, Pepsi for me. The waitress brought our drinks promptly and noticed that we were waiting for our group to arrive. We decided to order appetizers and did have to go and find her but she did know that we were waiting for others, so I'll give her that. Our party arrived about 10 minutes later and the appetizers did also. Here's what we ordered: The appetizer trio: spinach and artichoke dip, garlic cheese bread, chicken wings, cheesy jalapeno dip and chips. All of this was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken wings because it was a dry rub, but they were cooked perfectly. The S&A dip was the best, it had big slices of parmesan on top and was so tasty. The chips were so good and were fresh and crispy. Here's what our party ordered: The turkey club melt with chips, the turkey club melt with fries Chicken fingers and fries for the toddler The fettucine alfredo with chicken and The baked spaghetti Both of the turkey club melts were delicious. I'm not sure I would call them melts, they were both but into triangles as if you are having a turkey club sandwich, but make no mistake, they were so good. The chips that were served were homemade and were also very good. The birthday man in our party loved his baked spaghetti. But the not so good meal was the fettucine alfredo with chicken; it failed. (I wish the person in our party would have mentioned this at the time; I'm sure the restaurant would have handled this). The dish was lukewarm with the chicken being dried out and overcooked. So pros about this place: the portions are really big and filling. The food is tasty. The decor is welcoming and inviting and it's got an easy going relaxing feeling. The waitress was so attentive, filling our drinks when needed, getting us leftover boxes (because we sure needed them) and being overall very nice. Cons: to the restaurant, make note of what dishes aren't working and why. Side note: my husband left his small birthday bag with a gift card at the table. We called the next morning and was told they have it. Some places wouldn't be so honest so it's nice to know that this place is. Bottom line, would I come back here again? Yes I would but I would like to come in when it's a bit busier to see how this goes. But yes I'll go back for sure. Good food.
