Accidentally ended up here after failing to navigate to the downtown location, but it ended up being no problem! It was pretty busy when I came on a Friday evening but service was still friendly and efficient. The pierogis were very tasty and my Jager schnitzel was delicious! Spectacular! I have been on my German kick and this one did not disappoint! So many choices that I had to get the recommendation from my bartender. Megan is her name and she is so amazing! Finally made it to the West Fargo location and everything was great. We came as a group of 9 and found a table that easily fit us all, which was nice and easy. The service was very good and very attentive, continuing to ask about any drink needs. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a Philly Cheesesteak Sausage with fries. I recall others having items like the Cuban Pork Sandwich and the Porketta, but a couple of them had a Chicken Salad Sandwich that they raved about (and the sandwich was huge). The interior was nicer and more comfortable that expected. Plenty of seating with a nice layout. It was well-lit, which I prefer over the darker restaurants (such as for reading menus). Stopped by Wurst Bier Hall West before working an event to grab lunch, and I wish I could have had a beer with my Spaetzle Mac and Cheese. It would have paired perfectly! Even though I was staying down the street from the Downtown Wurst Bier Hall location, I decided to drive to this one. It was impressive. I sat at the bar, where Jordan was the server. Loved the Mac and Cheese (got it with Jalapeño & Cheddar Elk Sausage) because of the freshness and flavors. Wasn't dry like a lot of spaetzle I've eaten in the past. Must be the beurre blanc cheese sauce. Service was great. Vibes were fun. Plenty of parking out front. Would go out of my way to visit Wurst Bier Hall again. On a return visit to Fargo, we had to come back so hubby could try it out. To start, I got the Hummingbird drink at the recommendation of our waitress, Adrian. Great call - I'm not a beer drinker but this drink was the right call for me. The foam was like a crema that reminded me of a yummy light whipped cream foam...delicious. The pierogies, it seemed, we're boiled and then baked with an AMAZING curry sauce and the pretzels were hot and fresh. Everyone was happy with their dishes. While the rest of the group ordered sandwiches and I got the Spaetzel plate which I promptly ate up. It's not as cheesy as a macaroni and cheese, it's a light cheese flavor but a nice change from pasta. Our waitress, Yo Adrian!, is great. We were excited to see there was a second location & stopped in for late lunch/early dinner on our way through town. I'm so happy that we did. We're homebound with full bellies & happy hearts! What's better about this location vs the original? Easy... PARKING! That's right, same great food - same great service - with a big ole parking lot! Also, those high top chairs are actually comfy- bonus! Lots of seating in/out purse hooks & coat hooks at tables plus a ton of USB chargers. This is not an upscale fusion restaurant trying to reinvent the wheel. Nor do they need to be. They are putting out dish after dish the way it was meant to be served. I love rosemary, but don't go sticking it in my mushroom gravy HERE. Service is fast, friendly & consistently good. We never hit empty, were checked on regularly & were offered samples before committing to our brews. In town for a work trip and visited Würst with a coworker. Upon entering there didn't appear to be a hostess but no open seats either so we sat at the bar as we arrived around 6;30 and the place was pretty full. Although tables were in short supply there were plenty of seats at the bar and the chairs were surprisingly comfortable! I ordered a beer and we both got sausage sandwiches with various sides; I opted for the knoephla soup which is a deliciously creamy vegetable dumpling soup. They have a huge variety of sausages and you can try a platter or sampler as well is you want to share a variety. Food was tasty and I'd definitely visit again to try some of the other offerings. Overall a fun and unique restaurants to try with lots of authentic German foods and a decent beer menu. read more

Came into Wurst for an early lunch as a part of a road trip through the Plains states. I had heard great things about this place and loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. I sat at one of the tall tables and was quickly attended to by the server. Despite the extensive beer list, I didn't feel like I could have a beer along my drive. I ordered the kielbasa with sauerkraut with fries and their buttermilk ranch. My food came out quickly and right from the jump, I knew that I liked what I saw. A BIG kielbasa loaded with the kraut in what looked like half of a baguette. I then pulled over the ENTIRE BASKET OF MUSTARDS. Yes, you read that correctly. There's a basket on every table with 5 different mustards (yellow, dijon, sweet hot, honey, and whole grain). I love a mustard and I was in heaven. I taste tested them all with my fries and settled on putting a healthy squeeze of the sweet hot on the kielbasa. Great success. Everything worked so well together. The food was good, and our waiter was certainly trying his best. There seemed to be only two poor servers working the whole establishment so they did their best. I give wurst a 4.5/5 stars I was impressed with the restaurant and enjoyed the overall ambience. A great selection of craft beers, I was able to try the Mankato sour and a raspberry crush local sour and was pleased with both. The food was also good, I got the pretzels as an appetizer and although it wasn't homemade it still tasted good. The rabbit and rattlesnake brat was my favorite part. Our service was fantastic! They brought out goldfish as a snack for the kiddos, updated us with a good time estimate, got drink refills quickly, and was overall very pleasant! The food was good, too! I was a big fan of the sweet potato fries. You can pick from a few different dip choices, but the marshmallow fluff is perfect. Can't say enough good things about the Wurst Bier Hall! Maybe I'm a little over the top because. Love good German Food. But this was GOOD GERMAN FOOD! Starting with the Knoephla Soup. My mom used to make Knoephla when I was a kid.... haven't had it for many years. Was excited to see it on the menu. Knoephla is a type of German Dumpling, and the base was a creamy potato type soup. It was sooooo good! Highly recommend. My main course was the Jagerschnitzel with red cabbage and spaetzel. This too was exceptional. Tomorrow I'm am supposed to fly back home. There is a huge Spring Blizzard on the way. Part of me wants my flight to be canceled so I can come back tomorrow to eat again! read more

I loved the atmosphere at this location. It wasn't too crazy and they were playing classic 80s music with plenty of TVs showing things from FRIENDS to the Twins game. I then asked the bartender for a recommendation on a appetizer. He recommended the Bavarian Pretzel's with cheese. So I went with that! There were so much stuff on the menu that I wanted but I decided on the Rabbit with Rattlesnake and jalapeño Wurst for my entree! Appetizer came out pretty fast and tasted pretty good! My food came out shortly after which was awesome cause I couldn't wait to try it! The Rabbit with Rattlesnake Bratwurst was amazing. Great flavor, cooked perfect, and just the right kick to add!
