I'm giving this place 5 FUC'ING stars because just on a hunch we choose to come here for dinner on a Tuesday night and it was BADASS! I had the wings and the pretzel bites con cheese... badass. I had a few modelos... badass. My co worker had a steak wrap and it was badass. But the badass of all badasses was the bingo for prizes.There is a conniption here with the number "G69, dinner for two!" ( you will know when you get here). Posted hours state they're open until Midnight on a Tuesday. A little after 11p we were informed that the taps were turned off but bottled beer was available until it wasn't. Walked in late to order food because the t bell line was ridiculous and I received amazing service! I ordered the 3 tacos Togo with the fries and it came out fast. Fairly mediocre bar. We went on a Friday night and it was crazy busy. We ordered spicy cheese curds, taco pizza, steak philly and wings. The "spicy" cheese curds we're not at all spicy and I'm actually unsure what the difference was between normal cheese curds. The pizza and wings weren't bad, but nothing to write home about. The steak philly had an odd taco seasoned cheese sauce on it that kind of took away from the rest of the sandwich. Quite a large beer list, but not a ton of taps. The patio is nice in the summer, but it faces the parking lot so it's an odd area. read more

A great spot for drinks! Ive been there for Happy Hour after work, and also later at night on weekends, and always had a fun experience. The staff is super friendly, drinks are very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere/ambiance is definitely there. Apps are pretty good, and I havent had a chance to try their actual menu. I stopped in here when the bar first opened and it was just ok. My wife and I have since been back several times and the bar staff is amazing. The waiters and waitresses are hit or miss just like any other establishment but bar code has really improved. The food. My wife will go out of her way for the taco pizza. I've had a lot of the menu and it's a typical bar menu. The taco pizza is close to top 3 in Fargo for me. What really sets apart barcode is the bar staff. It's line a cheers environment with the bartenders. It's refreshing to see. Great place for a happy hour stop or out with friends and need a nice chill place to see game or relax with friends. read more

We arrived and after sitting there for a moderate amount of time (there were only 2 other people in the restaurant), the waitress came over and immediately was snotty. The coupon we brought was only available Monday-Friday (it was a Saturday). "It clearly states it's only available Monday-Friday." I informed her I did not see that; no big deal. This establishment had decent food, good Bloody Caesars and a pleasant and efficient staff. HOWEVER, we are in a pandemic and this restaurant chose to open before most in the Fargo area. None of the wait staff wore a mask or practiced any kind of social distancing. When I explained to a newly-hired female bartender that I work in the health care field and that she was within 2 ft. of without a mask and that it made me uncomfortable, she smiled and asked, "Why?" I was appalled by her not respecting my space. I tipped well, because service was good. I spent over $100 there with my two girlfriends. But, if the owner and manager do not set safety standards here, I will definitely put the word out about town, that this is an establishment that has no regard for public health safety. read more

We decided to try out trivia at barcode and ended up getting our ear drums blown out by some wannabe DJ with a pair of headphones and a laptop. Our waitress didn't notify us that we were going to be standing in front of someone blasting punk music from the 90's all night who evidently only had 5 songs to play on repeat. We ordered an appetizer sampler that came out after our food order. We were so frustrated with the experience we asked for boxes to take our food to go. The waitress brought the boxes and didn't bring our tabs until we asked her the second time when she finally came back 10 minutes later. Been to Barcode a dozen or so times now and every trip has been a pleasant experience. The thing that has impressed me the most is the staff. Very fast and friendly service. My husband and I love the food here but every time we have been to this bar the service is terrible. Today we waited over 15 mins after multiple waitresses walked by us and never got served.
