We stopped here for a quick pit stop on our drive to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and it ended up being the perfect place to relax and recharge. The space was spacious, comfortable, and had such a chill atmosphere. I ordered the Gouda Mac after the bartender recommended it, and it definitely did not disappoint! Very mid experience. My fried chicken sandwich was nothing to write home out, and really could have used a slaw or sauce. By far my favorite restaurant in Fargo, ND! I've been eating here for several years now. It started in college, I'd go and do homework on the weekends. Now, graduated and in their new location, my love is still there. I'm not sure what I love more, the food, the drinks, or all the plants. Came here to meet an old friend, no idea what to expect... and WOW. This place is so bougie and cute! Lots of cool decals and props and decor that really completes the space. The cool part is on the far wall, the window tiles reflect the light as the train drives by! Got seated almost immediately, and server came over plenty of times, just forgetting one water. 10/10 service, was kind, great customer service, and quick. The menu is found on the barcode labeled "food and dranks". Menu is easy to navigate online and had a LOT of good items I wanted to try, but I couldn't try them all! I ordered the loaded chicken bacon ranch mac & cheese. I didn't know what to expect when ordering ranch on cheesy noodles, and it honestly wasn't my favorite, but I have so many other things to try that I could like better. My friend liked her food, only complaint was the parmesan made the noodles seem extra salty. our chicken was cooked to perfection, and burger was delicious. Yup - Yes - Make me a sandwich. Guy Furry was right. Pretty neat spot! Stopped in Fargo on our big Midwest road trip and heard this was a must do. We were on a time crunch and ordered takeout so we could get to a local brewery. Food was ready in ten minutes, nicely packed, and delicious. They had a ton of options making it really hard to choose. We got the chicken sandwich and the TBA. Both excellent. Fries were good too, crispy and crunchy. Pounds is officially one of my favorite places in Fargo. It's really a foodie's dream- if you love fun food in an aesthetic, vibing atmosphere! I had to come check it out after I had seen so many people I knew go, and then freaking Guy Fieri went for DDD. Drinks-- fabulous! Food-- very good! Inside setup-- YES! They even have adorable colored picnic tables outside so you can sit with some fresh air or bring your doggo along. Another thing, is that from the name 'Pounds' I thought they'd mainly be a burger and beer place, or kind of just your typical American grub. But their menu has so much more than that- wings, burgers (of course), chicken sandwiches, vegan bowls, a ridiculous variety of mac n cheeses, and I'm sure I left something else out. So there's a lot more than meets the eye! Really, I am so impressed that Pounds is in a place like Fargo, it feels like a place that should be in a big city where there's tons of little diners and similar places that have their own charm and fun. My wife and I came in for a drink and possibly some food today at 6:30. We sat up at the bar. It wasn't very busy, but the bartender was training someone in. Delicious! Came here for dinner because we saw it on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and had to stop as we were passing through Fargo. Great location right in downtown Fargo. We were greeted right away when we walked inside and our waitress, Kinley, was absolutely wonderful! She was so pleasant, attentive, and friendly! We started with the combo sampler appetizer, everything on it was delicious. The tomato soup to dip the grilled cheese sticks in was fantastic. We also got the ranch flight, which was great to try different flavors. My husband ordered the BBQ porker macaroni and cheese, because that was what Guy Fieri had tried and it was delicious! So creamy, the bbq sauce was so flavorful and the pulled pork was very tender and delicious. I ordered the Woodstock bowl in which all of the components were so flavorful and it was the perfect meal. The main thing I like about Pounds is their unabashedly goofy drinks and good specials. They serve Frutopias, a Moscow Mule made with Rang (which is great) and $5 40s where they just bring the whole glass bottle to the table. That eccentricity extends to weekend brunch, where they have an enormous build-it-yourself mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. This includes mini grilled cheeses and chicken finger slices to top your bloody with. The few small drawbacks, in my view, are limited seating and meh vegan options. I just don't love their veggie burger, the party's kinda mushy. But the fries are good. read more

This is another one of those places that i don't even know where to start. Drink choices are unreal, adult Capri sun, fruitopia's and of course the Bloody Mary bar and mimosa bar. I'll come back to that. The food.... truffle mushroom mac, everything bagel mac, da club, Te Amo hippie bowl, the Big Mac n cheese burger. The list really shouldn't end. Back to the bloody bar, they have amazing veggies, pickled, fried, you name it. They have pizza, pizza rolls, fried green beans, French fries, mini corn dogs, anything you can think. I decided to try the food after all the hype and being showcased on Triple D's just to experience okay food . The wings were large but the texture was soft and not crisp. As for the sauce being put on the side it was cold and should be up to the customer if on the side or tossed. The Mac and cheese was highlighted on the show so I had to try and it was definitely not creamy and quite dry 3D Cheese. Added Pork topping was okay nothing amazing. Pickle fries were about the best thing in the order. I gave it three stars because it was a pickup order and food may lose some of its quality . I'm Hoping eating at the establishment is much better. My husband and I had an impromptu date at Pounds. As soon as we walked in, we thought it looked clean, fun, and smelled fantastic. The drinks were delicious and so reasonably priced. We decided to share the bigger size of Ranch Dusted wings and order a Gang of Fries with a Flight of ranch. We absolutely loved the variety. We then order a few more dipper sauces and fell head over heels in love with their Dr Pepper BBQ. Seriously, if we weren't already married, this would have caused my husband to emotionally drop to his knee right then and there. So good. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. read more
