A coworker of mine suggested this restaurant for Valentine's Day or in general just some good Italian food. Me and my husband drove an hour away just to get here, but it was so well worth it and I was so pleased when my husband said that everything was so good. From beginning to end, the service was awesome very attentive very accommodating. The ambience is unbelievable. It gives Tuscan Italy vibes. I overheard someone say that they just recently went under renovation, but truth be told you couldn't tell. The martinis were delicious. No complaints on anything would definitely go back.

( I always liked the old menu but this one was also inviting ) He explained that they did away with pizza .. that's fine as I wouldn't think of going here for pizza .. that I'll do at Birravino .. we ordered the tuna appetizer which was delicious and fresh. Served in a chilled broth with Avacado nice dish. Vicky loved it ! I had the eggplant parm app which was also pretty authentic in its simplicity but with a fantastic sauce. I could have stopped there as it was so satisfying but no.. we needed. To try the veal malfadine which was perfectly al dente and the killer pork chop which was hands down one of the most delicious I've had in a while To finish we sampled the bambaloni, a zeppola type dessert which was nicely deep fried .. presented well and tasted great but I had a major guilt thing after eating such a heart attack invitation All told we love it here ..

First of all, there was a little kids birthday party here and it was LOUD. This is clearly not the restaurant's fault but wow was it loud. I wish we could have sat outside but it was a bit chilly. We started with a 'Watermelon Mint Cooler' and 'Frozen Strawberry Margarita' - both were mocktails. They were both delicious and refreshing. My husband got the meatballs for his appetizer and I got the Caprese salad. He loved the appetizer and I loved mine. You cannot go wrong with Caprese salad in my opinion. For our entrees, he got the 'Bistecca alla Pizzaiola" which was a steak with tomato, garlic and red wine with potatoes. It was really good. The steak was very tender. I got the 'Ravioli Limoncello' which was Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce. I am not a huge lemon fan but this was great. We ended with the 'Carrot Cake' and the 'Toasted Almond' cake - both were delicious as well. Everything was great. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely come back and would recommend. Next time though, I'm sitting outside if I see a big party though!

The crust had that ideal golden crisp on the edges with a satisfying chew in the middle. The sauce? Rich and flavorful with just the right tang--clearly made with quality tomatoes and care. And the cheese was melted to perfection with that slightly golden top that pizza dreams are made of. Classic, no-frills, and absolutely delicious--Olivia's nails the basics and elevates them. Beyond the pizza, the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and super attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. I ordered takeout and it was ready right on time, hot and fresh. The vibe inside Olivia's is cozy and clean, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or sitting down with friends or family, it's the kind of place that feels like a neighborhood staple. They raved about it, and sounded fed up with the antics in NYC at this point. We were all very please with everything on the table, and as always, the service and ambiance were magic. But maybe that magic was my wine. Who can tell? It's so nice to bring what you like to drink and pick a wine from the cellar instead of a menu (my wife says I'm very picky, but she hasn't said "yes" yet when I ask if she'd "prefer a slob for her next marriage?"). I haven't had lamb in a lamb's age, and almost forgot how good it can be when it's done right. Joe made a special order for us, and told us about his new place opening up in Long Branch, and the lamb blew everyone away. I had the Scarpariello, which was also off the charts, and I'm glad I brought the wine that I did to hold it's ground. Big bold flavors. Josh was our main man serving, never leaves you hanging. If you're going on the weekend, call early to lock in your times. It gets very busy.

A manager who also squeezed through should have asked the bar patrons to move over. Not much can be done with the high noise level. Pizza was good as was the salad. A special of chicken with spinach and artichokes with melted mozzarella was not much more than Chicken Parm but served as a stack of two overcooked chicken with a thin layer of filling, almost unnoticeable with a glob of melted cheese that was served warm, even cold in spots. Linguine with clams came out without clams so returned to the kitchen before being brought back with a few clam shells on a mass of overcooked or reheated linguine that was mush. Another chicken dish was finally brought out as we were half way finished. At least that dish was hot and fresh (the extra star). Our server apologized several times and said he would take care of things on our bill, he didn't but that's not what we were looking for.
