Roman from Undersky Locksmith is amazing! He was super quick with all my responses via message (on yelp)and helped me understand what the problem was with my lock. Had a door that wouldn't budge on opening and wouldn't open from the inside. Set an appointment with him on a weekend. Roman came and analyzed the problem, fixed and replaced the lock all under 15 minutes! He also reassured us if there's any issues with the lock, he'll come and check it out and replace it again if needed. His service comes with a three month warranty. Definitely give him a call/text if you need a locksmith. If you live in the Ditmas Park area, he's only 10 minutes away! read more

We just moved into our new home and needed our lock switched out. Roman was able to give me a very clear quote and the time he'd be able to arrive. He was extremely helpful and informative about the lock itself, the process, and any questions I had. The whole process was done extremely quickly and was able to enjoy my new safe home. Highly recommend Roman as someone efficient and great to work with! read more

Called Roman at 2:15, he was at my apartment by 3:30 and out by 4:00. He was professional, quick and very kind. Highly recommended.

Excellent, Quick and Efficient service. Roman gets to you quickly, which is important when you are locked out. I am a homeowner and there is 25-30 minutes timeframe for the requests that I have made in Brooklyn. Today he came in very bad rain. My husband didn't think he would make it. I confidently said "he will be here" and he was. Dependable service. read more

Roman was so helpful and professional. He was the most reasonably priced quote out there and was very responsive. He came within 20 minutes, used one of his tools to unlock the door within in seconds! Would recommend him to everyone! read more

I called Roman on a Sunday and he came within 30 minutes. It was incredible. I thought I was going to have to wait hours, or at least until Monday and be stuck with a door that I couldn't lock. He is very fair and professional. He explained the two options to me: one that was cheaper but would end up with the same problem again in the near future (it had already happened once when I first moved in and I was actually locked inside the apartment for a few hours until management could get someone). Needless to say I didn't want to go with that option again so he replaced the whole unit but was able to keep the tumbler so I didn't have to make a whole new set of keys. He's great. Highly recommended!! If I could, I would give him 10 stars*********** read more

Yelp does it again! I Needed the lock changed on my front gate. I looked on yelp and found Roman. He was absolutely amazing! He gave me two options on what I could do as far as my lock. He was there to change my lock the same day. It took him maybe 10 minutes he was thorough he was kind affordable and quick. He did such a good job I asked him about another gate I needed the lock changed on. He told me he could come back the next day and change the lock. The next day he was there at 4 o'clock changing my lock. He didn't even call me he just started to do the work and called me when he was done. If you are undecided about Roman don't be he is great you can't go wrong with him. I wish I had more locks for him to change! read more

He was great! I called and he came immediately! We had a padlock on our gate that we lost the key for and needed to open. He cut the lock, charged the price he said on the phone. He gave text updates on ETA and made sure he had the correct tools before arriving. I hope I never need a locksmith again but if I do I'll call again! Thanks!! read more

Great communication and great work. Very happy to have added a trustworthy and reliable locksmith to my rolodex.

I came home from a trip to Canada to realize I had lost the keys to my bedroom door...when all I wanted to do after a long and stressful day of travel was sleep!! I checked Roman out due to the fantastic reviews and was not disappointed at all. He showed up in 15 minutes flat on a Sunday night and had my door open in not even 5 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again! read more

A brilliant experience. Locked outside my home's front door, I called Roman, and within 25 minutes he was by my side and working his magic. He fixed the faulty lock in minutes and he was extremely pleasant during the process. He gave me a price upfront that was more than reasonable. I hope never to lock myself out again but if this were to happen, I would call him again, in a heartbeat. read more

Quick, professional - Roman did a great job getting a new deadbolt installed and answering all of my questions!

REAL INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM This may sound a little made up but I assure you this actually happened. I was locked out of my apartment after taking out the trash and leaving the automatic locking feature on. I was dressed for bed and it was well past 9PM. The super said he didn't have a copy of the keys and that I had to call a locksmith. He also said that these locks were notoriously difficult to break. I was in the elevator headed down to a neighbor to use her phone to call a locksmith when a gentleman in the elevator answered his phone and said "Locksmith!" It happened to be the owner of Under Sky locksmith. By uncanny coincidence he was headed to another unit in the building. I decided to ask him for help hoping that he would have time for me, of course you can never be sure in situations like these. Not only did he offer to help, he was able to unlock the "notoriously difficult" lock quite quickly. Surprisingly, afterwards he even refused payment. It's rare to meet a person with so much integrity and empathy. Aside from doing the job with high professionalism, he showed himself to be genuinely decent. It's my first time leaving a Yelp review, it's not something I ever do, but it was well deserved here. read more

Undersky went a above and beyond in replacing my front security door lock. It's an old door, and he took the time to fit, finesse, and tweak the lock, until it worked perfectly. Fast precise efficient work, and he gave me a discount for paying cash. Thank you Undersky!!!! read more

He's he best. He's very professional and expedient. I would recommend him to ANYONE. His rates are amazing and his service is on 100!! read more

I feel incredibly grateful to have found Roman after my deadbolt broke over the weekend. He is so knowledgeable and friendly, responding within minutes to my Yelp email with a time and quote. I could not recommend him more and now have his name saved in my phone for future door emergencies. read more

Roman showed up on time and provided excellent service. He charged me exactly what he quoted on the phone -- although he actually did more. I appreciated that he wore a mask at all times and constantly cleaned up all the little metal/wood shavings. He is meticulous, understands the technology of smart locks, and is very friendly. Would definitely use him again and refer all my friends! read more

Ya man is lit, y'all. My silly 18-year old neighbor basically locked himself out of his apartment and I went and called Undersky. Homie was here in 10-12 minutes and only charged $75 (cash) - I think it's a bit more with card. BLESS THIS MAN, other companies charge like $300! read more

Wow! Just wow! I contacted five locksmiths for quotes and Roman gave me a fair price without charging me extra for an emergency visit. AND he came over within the hour. My issue was not an emergency. I've had a garbage front door lock that required pulling hard on the handle to get the door to open (actually, I had to pull the handle before I could push the door in) for about eight years. Someone tried to fix it once, but it didn't quite work, and recently, it's felt like my handle was going to pop right off causing me to either get locked out (or in) my apartment. A secondary problem is that when the door would sound like it was closed, a soft push would open it right up because it wasn't latching properly. (Thank goodness I have trusty neighbours.) Roman drove over on the coldest night of the year and made everything work like new. The handle feels strong, sturdy and attached (!) and the door latches when it's closed. If I ever need a locksmith in the future, I will definitely be calling him. Thanks, Roman! read more

Great locksmith!! He installed a smartlock on my apartment door. I requested quotes from a few places and he came in on the lower end. Very quick to respond by text and was able to set appt. for the next day. He arrived early and worked quickly. He also removed a bedroom door mechanism that was broken, no extra charge. Great experience all around, I think he was all done in under an hour. Thanks read more

I don't normally write reviews but because Roman was so professional and efficient, I am compelled to spread the word. Roman was very quick in his response to my inquiry and he was very helpful in explaining the different options available to us for the requested services. I also reached out to another locksmith that asked me ridiculous questions as if I understood the specifications of the required locks. Roman in the other hand, understands that a lock is just a lock to a normal person. He respectfully asked for photos of the door etc and explained the differences in layman terms so that I could make an informed decision. I will definitely be calling Roman back for any future services. read more

This is the second time I've had the good fortune to use Undersky Locksmith. I called Roman this afternoon to ask if he could fix our mailbox lock. Even though it was short notice, Roman came over at about 5:45 pm, fixed the lock in a very timely manner and his fee was EXTREMELY reasonable. I give Roman/Undersky Locksmith 5 STARS!!!! read more

My child locked themselves out of their apartment and left the stove on with water boiling, and had to call the fire department to break the lock open. Roman showed up 25 minutes after calling him and not only replaced the busted lock, but also added a second deadbolt simply by me asking for it! Did I also mention that this happened at 7 pm on a Friday night, and the apartment complex maintenance personnel told me that they couldn't do anything for my child. Roman was fantastic and did a great job! I highly recommend this locksmith! read more
