He is very fair and professional. Yelp does it again! I Needed the lock changed on my front gate. I looked on yelp and found Roman. He was absolutely amazing! He gave me two options on what I could do as far as my lock. He was there to change my lock the same day. It took him maybe 10 minutes he was thorough he was kind affordable and quick. REAL INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM This may sound a little made up but I assure you this actually happened. I was locked out of my apartment after taking out the trash and leaving the automatic locking feature on. I was dressed for bed and it was well past 9PM. The super said he didn't have a copy of the keys and that I had to call a locksmith. He also said that these locks were notoriously difficult to break. I was in the elevator headed down to a neighbor to use her phone to call a locksmith when a gentleman in the elevator answered his phone and said "Locksmith!" It happened to be the owner of Under Sky locksmith. By uncanny coincidence he was headed to another unit in the building. I decided to ask him for help hoping that he would have time for me, of course you can never be sure in situations like these. Not only did he offer to help, he was able to unlock the "notoriously difficult" lock quite quickly. Surprisingly, afterwards he even refused payment. It's rare to meet a person with so much integrity and empathy. Aside from doing the job with high professionalism, he showed himself to be genuinely decent. Wow! Just wow! I contacted five locksmiths for quotes and Roman gave me a fair price without charging me extra for an emergency visit. AND he came over within the hour. My issue was not an emergency. I've had a garbage front door lock that required pulling hard on the handle to get the door to open (actually, I had to pull the handle before I could push the door in) for about eight years. Someone tried to fix it once, but it didn't quite work, and recently, it's felt like my handle was going to pop right off causing me to either get locked out (or in) my apartment. A secondary problem is that when the door would sound like it was closed, a soft push would open it right up because it wasn't latching properly. (Thank goodness I have trusty neighbours.) Roman drove over on the coldest night of the year and made everything work like new. The handle feels strong, sturdy and attached (!) and the door latches when it's closed.
